It ended up being a good choice, I got the birria quesadilla with chips and a drink, they had it ready a little early and provided me with a cup to get ice since my meal came with a bottled drink. The food is always good. But whoever wrapped my burrito in tinfoil before. I got it, ran out of tin foil on my burrito. And instead of wrapping it into some new tinfoil, they decided to keep it in that and only rap half my burrito, then With each bite which I only took 3, my burrito fell apart. While driving home we stopped at Qdoba. I ended up getting a bowl with chicken and queso on the side. This location had complementary chips that I did not find very good. The chips were not crispy and not nearly as good as chipotle's. The service was good and they were knowledgeable about gluten free. Everything besides their tortillas are gluten free. Guacamole and chios were delicious. I had 3 steak tacos with the spicy queso. I found the meat to be lacking in seasoning. A little bit of salt would go along way in providing a burst of flavor. Hubby had the chicken burrito and he said he enjoyed it. My father in law had the quest chicken bowl. Oh and the margaritawas so good. I could t finish it at all. We were in town for a day and stopped here for lunch. The service was friendly but the food was really bad. I don't say this to complain. We eat at our local Qdoba in the omaha area all the time and know what Qdoba should taste like. The chips smelled like plastic and had a really bad taste. When I went up to tell the worker he said the bin was old and smelly and hadn't been changed out which is terrifying. The rest of the food just lacked flavor. The grilled veggies , chicken, and various salsas just tasted very off and not good. The food honestly seemed like it had been sitting out since last night. Other customers were complaining as well. This won't stop me from visiting our local Qdobas in Omaha but I am glad I don't ever come to north platte as this one is horrible. Stay away at all costs. read more

Wow! So.. I showed up 25 mins before they closed on a Friday night 6/26/2020,. I'm greeted by a lady that couldn't be more disinterested in doing her job! I started placing my order when I was then informed they were out of Rice ,beans and queso! I'm not a burrito scientist but I do believe those are they essentials to a burrito. The food tasted alright, overall, but the corn tortillas for my three street tacos were worthless. They held nothing and weren't even very tasty. Also, the guy I asked to make them had no idea what they were. Perhaps he's new, though. The bathrooms are disgusting, as another had mentioned in their review. There was toilet paper all over the floor and even a dirty diaper out by the trash can in the floor. Overall, not pleased... But also not hungry anymore? So... Two stars. read more

We are driving home through Nebraska after the holidays and while I do prefer Chipotle - Qdoba is always solid and there aren't many options in Nebraska ha. Employees were nice but unfocused and looked like there were a few milling around doing nothing. I think they should have warned me they were out of burrito bowl lids because it was a surprise when they slapped tinfoil on instead [not ideal for road trips]. That was all fine and the food is okay but when I went to the bathroom that was the last straw. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks - the dirty paper towels were overflowing and the first stall I tried had zero toilet paper on all four rolls. The second stall of two [handicapped] had three empty rolls and one roll with about a 16th of an inch of TP. The whole experience was disappointing really. read more

I rolled into town late and stopped here because I wanted something fast to take to the hotel. It was 8:50PM and they were closing at 9:00PM. The place was dirty and unkempt. They had already started putting all the food away so it was out of the warmers and the bowl I got was room temperature at best. The veggies were poorly chopped (obnoxious big chunks of green pepper and tomato) and the tomatoes were NOT fresh - definitely a hint of rottenness going on there. No lid for my 'bowl-to-go' probably still in cases of packaging openly stacked on counters in the bar area - so aluminum foil was the solution. Several employees were there so definitely not short staffed, probably more concerned about getting out of there as fast as possible than running a good clean quality business. Let me just say that I love Qdoba! Coming from the west coast, it's nearly impossible to find Qdoba amongst the sea of chipotles, so anytime I get to eat at one I'm in heaven. There are a couple things I think Qdoba does that make them so much better! 1) taco salad in a tortilla shell. Tell me: who doesn't love a crispy tortilla shell? Answer: no one. They're delicious. Why can't other restaurants do this? 2) QUESO. Like seriously they're QUESO selection is on point. 3) guacamole is included because let's be real, everyone always wants guac. It should never cost extra! 4) taco meat. Isn't it strange that it's rare to find ground beef as an option at most places? Not Qdoba. I got a taco salad with half chicken and half ground beef and it was great! This location is very clean and they don't skimp on the serving sizes. The woman in front of me ordered two burritos and they had to actually get two more pieces of foil just to wrap it cause it was so huge! read more

I was on a road trip from California to the Midwest . I spotted Qdoba across the street from my hotel and checked them out on here. My feeling, being from California and having amazing Mexican food there, that I would probably be disappointed with a Mexican restaurant in Nebraska. Boy I was wrong. I had 3 amazing tacos! Way to go Qdoba. I can't forget the staff who helped me. They were all very busy helping people, but when it came my turn they made me feel like I was the only one in the place. They focused on me and didn't get distracted with the things going on around them. They were quick but I didn't feel rushed. They even followed up with me as I was throwing my trash away. Dirty! Not Covid ready. Some staff members were wearing masks around their chins. Some weren't wearing gloves. They were wiping their hands on their aprons and then touching food. One girl dropped the chip scooper on the ground and then put it right back in the chips! I had to speak up and tell her she needed to wash it, which I thought would be super obvious- even when not in a pandemic. The cashier wasn't wearing gloves and his mask was around his chin (mouth and nose exposed). He was scooping chips and packaging people's meals, and taking payments and handing out receipts. Just touching everything including food. Again no gloves. Bad bad bad. The restaurant was a mess with leftover food and trash sitting around. Anywhere but here, I should have listened to the other reviews, this location not only had terribly salty food and old lettuce but rude employees who didn't wear their masks during a global pandemic. Half the employees "wore" theirs to protect us from seeing their double chin while the others used bare hands to prepare food. The peppers were raw and like said, the lettuce looked well over it's due date. Qdoba is a great food chain just not in Nebraska I guess. read more
