This review is for the Qdoba in the New Albany Market shopping complex. The restaurant is in a freestanding building near the entrance and is fairly easy to access and see. Plus, they have their own designated parking area and a drive-through for online orders. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff is friendly. Management seems excellent. Its fairly large, lots of natural lighting and has ample seating. They even have a good sized patio. Im sure dogs are welcome on the patio but did not ask. Its a build your meal type of place for tacos, burritos salads quesadillas and soup, I ordered the chicken bowl. Nice large, round bowl. You choose from a Mexican rice that looked like brown rice with a tomato base(?)or white cilantro/lime rice. I choose white. Then you choose a protien (brisket, chicken and a few others) The rice was light and fluffy. I added lettuce (which was super fresh). Black bean, pinto bean, Corn salsa, tomato salsa, fresh jalapeño, cilantro, tiny bit of shredded cheese, and guacamole. They offer dessert, which looked great (cookies and brownies) but I skipped. Oh. Guac and queso are FREE on entrees. So nice. The guac...has a pro and a con. Pro. It is free. They will give you two scoops. It tastes excellent when mixed into your bowl. The con: On the chips its, "meh"-its not stand alone like at chipotle... where u could easily make the chips n guac your meal (but chipotle guac cost a fortune and is extra all the time). This guac is much thinner, less hearty, but still very good. Also: If u join their online program you get two benefits: 1) you don't need to get out of your car-- you can pick up your online order thru the drive thru! (Cannot order at drive thru-- only pick up orders are allowed) 2) you get free chips n salsa for scanning the code (and I assume on all future online orders, but Im not sure as this was my first time there) Im sure there are point accruing benefits too but, again...first time into Qdoba. The app wasn't letting me join as my phone was glitching. All n all it was a great meal for 9 bucks. Good bye Chipotle! I personally like Qdoba better than the NA Chipotle. Way better. Nice addition to the New Albany area.

Stop here for a quick lunch and my first time here so I was a little confused on how the process works. They were very helpful and friendly also took the time to walk me down the line to each station and explain how to order. The food was really good and I love the different sauces they had and impressed with all the different ingredients you had to choose from. I will definitely be back

A fresh look for the chain with quick service and quality ingredients. The restaurant was extremely clean and efficient with a warm color scheme. The Birria meat option compliments the loaded tortilla soup well.

I have always said that Qdoba is miles better than that other fast casual Mexican chain everyone seems to love. Sadly the closest one to me has always been 20 minutes away. That is until last month when this new location opened in New Albany! I have already eaten here 3 or 4 times and the food and service are just as high quality as I've always experienced at other locations. My favorite menu item is the quesadilla and I love that you can add any toppings into it. I usually add brown rice and I pick either chicken or pork for the meat. I also love their chips and queso and usually get an order of these as well. I am very much looking forward to enjoying many more meals here!

Instead of my usual chicken nachos, I decided to try something different. Shredded beef Taquitos Hacienda. Made with a rich mole sauce and topped with red onion and avocado slices, this was either going to be really good or a complete fail. Thankfully it was really good. Mole may not be for everyone's taste buds. You can taste the chocolate in the sauce, more so than any mole I've had before. But it all worked well...shredded beef, crispy tortilla, onion and avocado. Swimming in a generous amount of sauce. I cleaned the plate but forgot to take a pic. Whoops. They also had great chips and homemade salsa that had a slight zing to it. Also came with refried beans and something that resembled cole slaw. I took a pic of the chips lol. I would definitely stop again and pick something different from their extensive menu.

At check in, no-one acknowledged us (rough start) and pointed us to follow the host to a booth. However, our server was terrific. We explained it was our first visit, and asked if we had questions. We were not familiar with Barria, so she explained it too us and while she made sound very tempting we ordered plates we were familiar with with-Pollo Loco and some very similar. They served us tortillas with fresh Salsa and a refried bean dip ( really delicious). The food arrived promptly and was piping hot (the only way to serve a mexican meal). The food was fantastic and the server's description of Barria will have us coming back for a new experience. The decor is a little loud, but inviting.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to check on us, chat a bit, and keep the chips and salsa coming. It's a great spot for a quick lunch, and the mocktails were a nice surprise too. Our server made one that was flavorful and refreshing without being overly sweet. Definitely worth a visit.

We were immediately seated and the service was quick. Our server was super friendly! We ordered flavored frozen/on the rocks margaritas and beer. No complaints here! The guac & chips were incredible. I am super picky about guac and we finished it right off!!! For my meal, I ordered three Steak Tacos. As I started eating, I had noticed something seemed off and they had forgotten the cheese on my tacos! (Can't forget the cheese!!!) I let my server know and she brought me some extra in a dish to sprinkle on my tacos, but I was charged for it (even though cheese came on the tacos and was left off).

Chips and salsa - I thought these were pretty standard and the salsa tastes like something you could buy at the grocery store. Steak fajitas - these were pretty decent considering we were so far away from Mexico and Texas where Mexico food is usually much better. The atmosphere here is really festive and location is fairly convenient so maybe that's why this restaurant is so dang popular. My colleague also enjoyed his meal so that made things go well during the visit.
