I think the last time I had Taco Bell was in college. That was (wink wink) a long time ago. I remember the tacos being delicious at 2 am but that could have been the beer talking. Anyways, I never really thought about Taco Bell or missed it all of these years. Until today. I just had a craving. Taco Bell has really upped their game! I thought it was better than most of the Mexican restaurants I have been to in Columbus. They really worked out the menu - they have vegetarian options, fresh pico, guacamole, fresh add-on veggies, iced coffee, etc. Online ordering was easy. Food was hot and ready on time. Staff was personable. Combo box was so tasty! I loved the spicy potato taco and the black bean crunchwrap. The Cinnabon iced coffee was also surprisingly great. I came through the drive-thru and ordered a black bean crunch wrap, cantina chicken quesadilla, cantina chicken bowl, 3 crunchy taco supremes and a baja blast. I've been to this location multiple times but last night left me most impressed. We drive up and see the line is just about to the street. But that line was MOVING we weren't in line any longer than 5 minutes which was pretty impressive. Got the freshest Taco Bell I've ever gotten too. Never open inside! I agree with a previous reviewer, if you order for pick up and walk there they won't open the door for you or give you your food. Good luck getting your money back. They're NEVER open on the inside. It's getting ridiculous. The drive thru line is insane as well... because you guessed it, no one can go inside to order. They also forget your sauce half the time or something in your order so you have to wait another 20 minutes in line to get it. read more

This Taco Bell is extremely inconsistent with their food. Sometimes they give you hot food with a nice portion of meat. Other times you get 1/4 of that portion and the food is cold. If they're a little busy the food portions are ridiculously smaller that other times. Most would say who cares because it's fast food, but if you're dropping $15, you expect some consistency. This use to be the only Taco Bell I'd go to but unfortunately it's been terrible. read more

I've rated this particular Taco Bell before, and I don't know how this is possible, but it has gotten even better. The tacos are full and fresh, my order was filled and accurate despite it being a 22 item order. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the staff at this location absolutely kills it. It's the only location that is trustworthy, day or night. Not only does the staff have a friendly attitude, but they have an attention to detail that no other franchise has. Never open on the inside despite taking carry out orders. If you walk down there and knock the employees just look at you dumbstruck and slackjawed then ignore you. One time through doordash they refused to open it, I attempted to get a refund through DD, DD made me go through TB, I called them and they just hung up on me causing me to lose my order and 20 something dollars. This happens at all times of day, 2 in the afternoon on a Tuesday, 7 in the evening on a Thursday, 11am on a Monday, doesn't matter--lobby isn't open and no one will come tell you how to get your food if you walked there from any of the 20 nearby apartment complexes. OBVIOUSLY UNDERSTAFFED! Literally waited JUST under 20 minutes in the drive thru line, and didn't move an inch forward. Called to see what was up (did someone die?), and Justin answered chipper as can be, stating everything was fine. I've worked in the restaurant industry for years- this was bad. I've been living in a nearby apartment complex for almost a year and really loved my living situation, but have always felt like the area was lacking something. I recall telling my roommate, "If only there was a Taco Bell closer in our area, my life would be complete." Lo and behold, not one month after I said that, construction began on the glorious Taco Bell restaurant that you find today. I passed by everyday on my commute to school in the mornings and could see the progress of construction almost every step of the way. It was like witnessing the miracle of child birth - after patiently waiting 9 months slowly watching it grow, it was finally ready for delivery - but instead of a messy, sticky newborn in my arms and the self-questioning of whether or not it was truly mine, this Taco Bell is indeed a blessing and I know I will love it unconditionally. Thank you Taco Bell! PS. Other comments about how friendly the staff treat you are all true. I've never been to a more welcoming and friendly Taco Bell. Keep it up, guys! read more

Most Taco Bell's or fast food places in general have terrible customer service. This place is amazing. Andrew in the drive Thur window is one of the best service industry people I've ever encountered. Not to mention the majority of his clientele are probably drunk. Whatever he is making, isn't enough. I had horrible customer experience with a lady at Drive-Thur today. Me and my boyfriend came thur the drive thur at about 10. We pull up to the speaker and she welcomes us and we begin to order, we tell her 3 items on the list of things were ordering and then she gives us our total. So I simple say oh, we're not done ordering. And all we hearts for the background is "then order the food then." With nothing but attitude and rudeness. After that we just drove away. They will never get business from us every again. That is completely rude. read more

The guy taking my order was a complete jerk. I tried to order a bean & cheese burrito w/ xtra cheese (order this about monthly for years). Him: "so just beans and cheese". Me: "normal + xtra cheese". Him: "we don't have a normal bean & cheese burrito". Me: "since when?" Him: (silence). Me: "I want a bean & cheese burrito with the normal red sauce & onions but w/ xtra cheese". Him (very sarcastically): "You just have to tell us what you want on it hon. We just have a bean burrito, not a bean & cheese burrito". He called me "hon" on top of being a royal jerk. I gave him some expletives, then drive off. I'll never go back there again. This has got to be one of the best Taco Bell stores out there. Always pleasant staff, fast on the food prep, and the store is always clean. It does get crowded at lunch and it doesn't have the largest parking lot. I've never had an issue with this location. Would recommend it anytime. read more

Sometimes they can be a little on the slow side getting food out but I try to blame the person in front of me and think maybe they just ordered half the menu. Most of the time they get my orders right but sometimes not. Sometimes the food is great and sometimes not. It all just depends on who's cooking that day I guess, which is my reason for three stars. No reason to really complain but nothing to write home about either. I've never expected much from Taco Bell so hey, whatever. Meh, I feel like since they moved the food has gone down hill. I know its only fast food, but the past few times I've been there the shells have been burnt. I'm not saying they're lazy or not paying attention, but I have yet to receive anything fresh. Maybe it's the constant smell of weed coming from the guys who hide behind the dumpster between orders. I know its pot and not skunks because when I get to the window I see blood shot eyes and the smell is even stronger. There isn't anything wrong with getting high, except when its used as an excuse to not do their jobs properly. I found sand in the taco meat. I also got food poisoning from two Doritos Tacos, I couldn't even keep down water. Diarrhea was also a very, very big side effect. I lost 30 pound of water and almost died from the experience. read more
