This review will be long but details matter. I went into the restaurant on Dec 23 to order pickup for Dec 24 at 4:45. The assistant manager, Rebecca, was amazing! She helped me place the online order for two family meals ( one family meal was chicken $39.95 and the other was steak $49.95) with each meal you can select beans and rice type. For one I chose black beans and the other I chose pinto beans. I also opted to buy the tailgate chips & queso for an extra $40. Rebecca said she was off Dec 24 but would make sure the order was good to go. My husband picked up the food at 4:45 on Dec 24 and specifically asked about the extra queso and the person said " it's in there you can check the bag yourself if you want". My husband didn't check the bag only because it is two large bags with several containers of two family meals with all the trimmings( ideally), we had people coming over and he needed to get home. As you can imagine, no tailgate queso and chips AND both the beans were pinto beans, no black beans and also no sour cream. Also the amount of chicken and steak in The containers were definitely not enough to serve 4-5 people. My husband called to speak to them and the person who answered said that when he arrived to work the food was in the containers and the manager left so it wasn't their fault. That conversation was disappointing to say the least. So now I am driving with my receipt to the restaurant & leaving our guests. Upon my arrival the person behind the counter , when he saw me said " sorry about that I have your queso and chips here" then I asked about the portion amount and another person , a man who was not the manager because he repeated what he said to my husband that the manager was gone for the night, began to tell me the food was packed and it wasn't their fault. I accepted that and then brought up the minimal amount of food in each container and also showed him the picture I took of the containers of chicken and steak. He began to say " well it's 20oz each and we are not trying to cheat you". Then he said " I can bring the chicken and steak out here and weigh it for you if you don't believe me". I thought it was entirely not necessary for the comment. But wanting to get back home to our guests and not deal with his attitude, I asked if I could buy more chicken and steak. So that is what I did. Original order was $141.26 and now I am spending another $69.63 for chicken and steak. Here is my final thought, I truly can appreciate how hectic things can be in a restaurant and I can understand challenging situations. However a smile, an apology ( a sincere one) and maybe not charge me for both the additional chicken and steak because I did have to come back , would have been nice. I give Rebecca an absolute 1000% applause and appreciation, had she been there I know this experience would have been very different. Not certain we will be back and certainly disappointed that we paid over $200 for some " okay" food and missing items ( still didn't get the black beans or sour cream ) read more

Where to begin with the incredibly miserable experience. Ordered dinner. Dinner delivered. I ordered NO BEANS on my nachos. Did I get no beans? No, I did not. What I got was TWO DIFFERENT KINDS OF BEANS ON MY NACHOS. Call the store. The manager barely speaks English. I told him (Ariel) what happened. It was a difficult conversation, as like I said, he barely speaks English. I finally get across to him what the issue is. He asked what I want. I told him I want my correct item brought to me. He says "hang on". He comes back and tells me "refund only". I had to have it repeated FOUR TIMES before I understood what he was saying. I told him unacceptable. He starts yammering at me, and I finally say "don't make me come down there. You will not enjoy it". He (THE MANAGER) HANGS UP ON ME. Are you freaking KIDDING ME?? I get in my truck and drive down there. Something I did not want to do after an incredibly long, craptastic day, WHICH IS WHY WE ORDERED DELIVERY!!! I walk in, and put my bowl of crappy food on the counter. I say "you see this? NO BEANS. Says it right here on the item tag! I open it up, and say " see this? TWO KINDS OF BEANS!!" I call you to tell you y'all mucked up my order, and YOU F**CKING HANG UP ON ME!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!" And yes, this is loud, and in front of other customers, and no, I DO NOT CARE. I ask his name, he tells me, and I cannot understand him. He repeats, can't understand him. He finally writes it down. I say "ok, your last name?" He says hang on. I hear his phone ringing. He hands it to me, and says "This is the manager, you can talk to them". He had given me the general managers card. The person on the phone is female. I go " it says on the card the manager is Jorge, this is a woman". Apparently, she is the assistant manager. She asks me what happened, and I told her. I also mentioned that I cannot understand most of what Ariel said. She goes into this spiel about how they can only get managers that speak very little English. I told her "I'm sorry, but I do not care. Your manager HUNG UP ON ME!" She apologized, and I ended up with one "free entree" coupon that I will definitely NOT be using at THAT Qdoba. I always go to this one on Broadway but I must say this is the worst order I gotten from there I paid 11.13 cent for a bowel of onions cold steak no beans that I asked for and very large onion pieces it was so dry very disappointed. This Qdoba is lovely and has a great location. It's your favorite Qdoba favorites and I'm a big fan of the location and the feel of the place. The drive through is so miserably marked. They have almost no signage for drivers in the parking lot, so it's hard to figure out where to go to order and for pickup. You could literally go backwards into the drive through and have a passenger get the meal the way they have it marked. If you are going to have a one-side drive through, signage matters. Then I gave the cashier my card and he turned back and asked if I wanted to put a tip on the order. It was confusing to me, we went back and forth for a second until I realized he was asking if I wanted to add tip to the credit card machine. I even offered up cash dollars and he said no, it was just on the card reader, so I said no? I've not heard of tipping on a credit card at a drive thru? It was really awkward. We were staying at the hotel across the street and wanted a grab and go dinner to eat in the room. I was very pleased with the protein bowl. Lots of veggies, guac and grilled chicken. The chips and queso were delicious. I would definitely eat here again. read more

Qdoba in Monona Wisconsin is the worst Qdoba ever! They have the worst General Manager who doesnt take responsibility for the wrong mistakes they make but blame it on customers. He is rude and a nasty man Who doesn't do his job. They never get any of my orders right . They always forget something or don't put any chips in the bag for the bowls we ordered and always forget things, tiring and it crap! This Qdoba is pretty good. It's close to work so I've ordered take out numerous times from this spot. In general, the food quality is consistent and always very tasty. Ordering online and going to pick up is a great option, however, I feel like there may be an issue with when food is prepared vs when it is supposed to be picked up. Example: I place an order for a specific time as the website requires. I arrive at specified time (like, RIGHT on time. Within the minute). Grab food and go. Food is cold. The only thing that can explain this is that the employees are preparing orders when they come in, instead of based on when they will be picked up. Other than that I have no complaints. read more

After a tiring week I placed a pickup order on the Qdoba web page so I could just hop out of the car, grab my burrito, and be back to my apartment without having to wait in line. That part of the plan went fine, but I arrived home to discover my burrito was severely lacking. The draw of Qdoba is that you get free queso and guac. When placing my order I requested both, and requested extra guac since lately you only get a small dollop on once spot in the burrito. I hoped by asking for extra it'd be spread out over the entire burrito. I did get some extra guac, but it came in a container on the side. I can work with that. The absence of queso - not so much. I double-checked my slip to make sure I hadn't missed clicking the box for it. I hadn't. Without any queso (or cheese, which I skipped in favor of the sauce), about two bites of sour cream and another few of guac, the resulting burrito was flavorless and dry. The nature of a burrito discourages opening it up to see if it's right, and due to the assembly sometimes you think you're missing what you ordered until you hit the bottom. I was close to halfway through by the time I gave up hope for the queso, and thus was full and too annoyed/tired to drive back to get the correct thing. Calling takeout places to let them know rarely results in a refund (usually just an offer to be put on a list for a free item next time) so I didn't bother. If I could give zero I would. Wow, they forgot half an order for carry out, I called to let them know that we were coming back for the rest of the order(25 minute round trip) they left me on hold for over five minutes then just hung up. I called them back and they didn't take ownership of a simple mistake. They said they would be "Happy to make the missing portions." As if they were doing us a favor by making the food we already paid for. The manager said that he was unable to do anything in the way of a simple gesture to make up for the added time and missing food. I'm a part time student so campus is close to Qdoba, me and my friends usually go grab a bite to eat together. However I was alone this time and the sweaty smell in the air didn't really help but I was hungry. I took a look at the stains on the table, napkins and tableware scattered on the floor and I didn't know if this was going to be a pleasant experience..I kept going because well...I was hungry. This was a similar experience to the ones I've had before, the whole staff of employees are not friendly and kind of rude. I practically had to holler for my order to be correct. The many items behind the glass were mixed; I mean lettuce in the jalapeños. I asked for my receipt and the cashier gave me a not-so-nice look. Overall, I think Qdoba views their customers as a dollar sign that's it. Not a clean establishment and awful customer service. I'd save my money and go else where. read more

Qdoba...enough said. It's a chain that has Mexican food. Walk up to the bar, pick tacos, a burrito or a bowl. Pick your protein. Pick your toppings (up to 10). Get a drink. Pay. Walk out. It's simple and predictable, but sometimes that's what you want. This location is clean and always somewhat busy. I've been in at 5 pm and I've been in at 9:30 pm. I'm having an internal debate right now. Has Chipotle become less relevant? Is Qdoba due a triumphant nod? Hard to say, I feel as though Qdoba gives you way more food and doesn't judge you when you ask for extras. The Smoked Brisket I had can rival Barbacoa any day of the week. You also get FREE queso and FREE GUAC!!!! Plus now they have this delightful pineapple pico that's making me crush hard. I also feel Qdoba has a more rewarding rewards system than Chipotle. Best healthy food option in the area - my go to is the 8.99 burrito bowl with a tortilla on the side. I load it up with extra beans, all tops of salsa and the free guacamole. They let you load up your meals so you get a ton of value, the only thing that costs extra is when you ask for extra meat, other than that - ask for extra everything! Cheers! read more

I've always been confused if this place is affiliated with the large Qdoba franchise. After trying this place for the first time, I think it is, but not 100% sure. I ordered the steak queso burrito and it was mediocre. The steak lacked some flavor and there was not much in the burrito. I love QDOBA! QDOBA is like Chipotle but a million times better! Super fresh ingredients and they actually give you lots of ingredients! I was shocked when I ordered the taco bowl and I actually got more than a sliver of a tomato like other restaurants that I will leave nameless is known to do. An employee (wouldn't give me his name) I believe he was a mexican man with long hair and wearing a culvers hat backwards. Was very rude should learn how to speak to customers in the future makes sense working at qdoba though. This location has horrible service. I've been going there every Wednesday for over a year. After several times of messing up my order, it losing my order all together, I quit going there. This corporation cheats their customers at every turn. Their rewards program is a lie. Their rewards offers are not given and the customer is charged full price, while the receipt tells you there should be a reward given. Fix your rewards program or discontinue it, but stop lying and "offering" rewards that cannot be redeemed. read more

Ok so their food is fresh and it does taste good. Building a burrito doesn't get easier than Qdoba and they have added more queso toppings which while horrible for you, taste pretty darn good. Where this particular location goes totally wrong is the addition of a drive thru. My experience in the drive thru was bad enough that I went inside to finish my order. The outside menu does not flow like the inside, so while you are trying to follow that, the person inside is looking at the way things are organized there. Total disconnect. If you have never been in a Qdoba you are at the mercy of someone who does not explain well what the options are. The next time, fool me once, I went inside to order. Everything went great until an order came in to the drive thru. So now my burrito is made, but they don't ring me up because they are busy making the drive thru order in real time as the person orders. Their burritos were nice and hot while mine sat getting cold. A valiant effort to make yourselves more accessible Qdoba, but sometimes you are what you are and you should just continue to do it well. That is why people return. read more
