This store needs to go over the basics of customer service. They are lacking in all aspects of it. You walk in and nobody is line. Not busy. Employees cant even great you with hi or welcome. They just talk between themselves. Then an employee decides they can take my order but never says BOO to me. I give them my order and there is never any conversation or thank after paying. For this particular location, I would recommend the drive thru. I tried the Turkey Gobbler sandwhich which was pretty good. I like that Arby's offers unique items that most other fast food joints don't have! The Mac & Cheese bites were just ok. My hubby and I also like the Greek Gyro a lot! Consistently bad the only thing good is that you 100% know you will get the wrong orders, missing items, and cold food always.

Consistent in terrible service, as well as product is the Madison Wisconsin Stoughton Road Arby's signature. This location has the brilliant distinction of being at a high traffic intersection nearby the transcontinental I-90/94 route east and west. Additionally it's a bus major stop for Chicago to UW Madison travelers as well the thru travers to distant unknowns. With that in mind, the seekers of illicit substances, I observed in action, while waiting for the hopeless employees of the drive thru, to fully accomplish giving me and missus someone else's entire order! Even after noting the error, this stellar rock star of the arby's empire STILL managed to give us another bag of stuff vaguely the same as our simple order. Curly fries were warm but stale and smelled rancid. I thru my sandwich and fries to the crows as we exited the parking lot. The owner of this location should be pruning money, considering his high traffic address, but his employees aren't growing anything except another laughing sad story to enlighten possible visitors. I've stopped at this location over the last 20 years possibly 5-6 times. This will certainly mark my final stop. read more

This place has definitely been cleaned up since its bad reviews a few years back. The seating area was neat and clean, my order came out super quickly, and it met my expectations (I mean, it's cheap fast food). To push it up to a 5-star review, they need to work with their employees about customer service: smile, greet the customers, look like I'm not bothering you by wanting to order! The cashier just stood behind the counter not saying anything to me, so I wasn't sure if she was ready to take my order or what. Her friend was also visiting with her at the counter, and that was clearly of more interest to the cashier than my order. Finally, I just went up to the counter and just said my order out loud which she eventually took down. My roast beef was pretty good, I just wish it had been warmer; it had clearly been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. Basically, you get what you pay for, people! read more

For a "bus stop fast food" stop, it's a little better than what you would expect. Some dodgy clientele, but the staff were friendly and the food was equal to any other Arby's. The tabes were acceptably clean and the bathrooms weren't too bad either. I mean, it's an Arby's people! Trash cans overflowing with garbage. Oil stains on the parking lot surface. Yuck. I was hungry and had stopped by Menards just down the road, so I figured get some grub here. The worst Arby's I have ever eaten at. If you want a good one, visit the one on Park. So, here is why it is bad. 1) the portions are small on every sandwich that we ordered. Four different sandwiches. This is compared to other Arby's I've eaten at. 2) they say they don't have any monthly deals. I was told they belong to the same owner as the one on Park and they have monthly deals. 3) tried it twice and both times they messed up our order. We paid but did not get things. 4) their customer service is awful I don't expect much in life but when I go somewhere to give them my money , I expect better than what I got here. read more

These guys work as hard if not harder than everyone else in the food industry. Shame on these other pricks nit-picking little stuff that is everywhere, or at least not Arby's fault. The gas station is a completely different company and has much more through traffic making the parking lot and bathrooms dirty before the already ran ragged Arby's employees can get to them. If you need fast service, go to McDonalds, they have a drawer full of precooked patties for your 'little pissed off' face to dig into. Arby's has good, sliced to order roast beef that I have never had an issue with getting fast and fresh. The order takers work very long shifts, I've been there for lunch (11:30) and dinner (8:00ish) and have seen the same employees working. From experience, they often treat you the same way they are treated, which I have no problem with. Just because the poor guy on the other side of the counter gets paid (minimum wage in all likelihood), doesn't mean you can take the frustration of your day out on them! I've been there, I know how they feel so I'm very gracious and treat them like a human. Recently they have also remodeled the lobby and the parking lot making them look 150% better. I guess this turned more into a refresher course on how to not be a ignorant prick to fast food employees then a review so here it is.
