First time eating from here, Was a delivery. WOW! One of VERY few restaurants where the ACTUAL food outshines the photos! Huge, delicious , make your own burrito . Chips and guacamole were fresh and crispy, delicious brown rice, ALL the personally chosen ingredients were wonderful. The food portions are good when you have to ask for them. The service is quick and usually rude, i go in and pray there is someone else working but its always someone who does not speak english so getting anywhere is ridiculous. I just like the food and want decent service all the way down to the chips!! How do i eat all of my food with 12 chips????? If this continues, i will not support this business by purchasing $40 worth of food each time. Usually not that bad.. ordered online today for pick up. Went into pick up not busy inside but yet nothing prepared. Waiting while they made the order. Got it home, the chicken tasted like it was left out all night. Discoloration of the chicken and no flavor. Steak burrito absolutely garbage. Rice was mushy and the steak was tough. Terrible. Qdoba seems to be going downhill in general, but our visit to this location was terrible. It was empty when we arrived. They appeared to have more than enough help, but the line looked awful: missing items, other items that looked like they'd been left out way too long. They were out of white rice (which is a staple of their menu). A worked went to the back to get more and he was gone for nearly 10 minutes. We just stood in line and waited and waited. The other workers barely acknowledged us. Someone could have jumped in and continued our order, but nope. He finally brought the rice back, but then they were out of Impossible. He went back again and returned maybe 5 minutes later to tell us they were out. They finally put our orders together, though I don't know how because they guy working the register appeared to be high and appeared to be very confused. He did miss the chips and guacamole that another worker had prepped for us. The food wasn't even very good. We're not complainers, but this was a lousy experience. I feel like they've cheapened out on their food. My guess is that they keep things empty until they absolutely need it in order to avoid spoilage. I get that with the Impossible, but white rice? The ground beef was greasy. The chips were incredibly salty. The queso was burned because it had been sitting out too long without being stirred. It's like nobody cared. Stay away. read more

This place is no longer my favorite food. I went through drive thru, first order had something spoiled in it. I was sick that whole night and the next day. I took the remainder of the bowl back and Betty assured me that they would replace it with a fresh one I accepted. I'm sitting in the dark watching a movie and after eating almost half of a pork bowl I felt something hard in my mouth so I took it out, it felt like a piece of seed or something so I assumed it was from the guac I had on it. Smh. So I turned on the light and OMG what the **** all I saw was a rainbow wing and when I looked closer Lord and behold a freakin bug was in my bowl hard as crap. At this point I vomited, this is disgusting. I called the store the next day and spoke with Betty who was so appalled she put General Manager Ashley on the phone. Went in today to get food. One line worker had her mask under her nose, and the cook in back had his mask under his chin the whole time. Washed his hands for literally 5 seconds after coming out of bathroom. Manager was right there and ignored their violations. No pulled pork. The meats looked dried and gross. I actually enjoy the food at this QDoba location, but have had some pretty poor experiences here in the past. For the most part, the poor experiences have been when I was in the mood for a burrito with ground beef only to be told they did not have any ground beef. Enough of a disappointment to cause me to leave without ordering. I have also had some very good experiences, including a week ago. I was in the mood for QDoba burrito bowl, so I stopped in. I saw a display advertising a new item (at least to my knowledge) of a crusted cheese quesadilla. I asked the counter person about it, and after she explained it I decided to give it a try. I told her I wanted the exact one shown on the poster, and when I got to taste it, I found it was absolutely delicious. This was an overall fantastic experience. Based in that experience and due to the fact I was in my own for dinner tonight, I decided to go back and order another of these tasty items. I entered the store and approached the counter. The store was mildly busy, but I was asked what I wanted almost immediately. I told the counter person I wanted a crusted cheese quesadilla exactly like the one shown on the poster. I should note here that there is a poster hung at the main entrance, as well as on the menus display above the counter. When the counter person asked me what type of meat I wanted, I pointed to the poster and stated I wanted the quesadilla shown on the poster. He again asked what type of meat I wanted and I said I didn't know exactly what the meat was, I wanted the one shown on the poster and I only knew it was some kind of chicken. He scooped meat onto the tortilla and made a comment that I hadn't ordered the quesadilla shown on the poster but had ordered a chicken quesadilla. I stated that I had not ordered a chicken quesadilla, but had requested the quesadilla shown on the poster. He stated that the poster had some kind of smoked chicken on it, and that I hadn't ordered this but had requested a chicken quesadilla instead. He refused to listen to my protests and argued that I had stated I wanted a chicken quesadilla instead and that was what I was getting. At that point I told him I didn't need his sass, and I left the store. I don't like to post reviews on these types of sites as they are extremely impersonal and don't always produce satisfactory results. However, when I went to the QDoba webpage and attempted to submit a note of the very poor treatment I received at the Manitowoc store, I was sent to a page that stated they were not collecting any further information (whatever that means). I was not able to communicate with anyone from the company, nor was I able to leave any kind of message. This may give the appearance that the company receives to many negative messages about the Manitowoc location. If that's the case, they need to do something about that situation. althiugh I had this bad experience, I do enjoy the food I am able to get at this restaurant, and I intend to continue buying their food. However, if I enter the store and see this young man anywhere behind the counter, I will immediately turn around and leave. I do not intend to be treated the way this young man treated me again. read more

I've never eaten at a Qdoba before but I must say it reminded me of Chipotle, but Chipotle supercedes Qdoba in food quality and taste. I got the pork burrito and didn't at all care for the way they prepared the tortilla. It was very tacky, sticky, and weak - not good enough to hold meat, rice and all the fixings, and it stuck to my teeth. Also the price is not justifiable. I was fairly satiated after the burrito, but could've had more. It's just not worth the price at all. All together, not bad food by any means but there's far better food around that'll get you the bang for your buck. read more

OK ever have that "wish I had been to Yelp first!?" feeling? I have been to this restaurant several times, and have never received customer-focused service, but despite that I have been a repeat customer. (No more) Listen, I have tried. Here is the latest, and final event each of which epitomizes in some way every visit. Naturally with this store, they are "out of..." something. ALWAYS. This evening as I watched a grill full of chicken get pulled off, and raw vegetables sitting unprepared on the counter I asked for a salad. (sigh, here goes) They were out of tortilla's for the salad, and out of vegetables, and out of pico...(not done yet!) AND despite pulling a load off the grill not 30 seconds earlier...out of chicken! Given the uncaring verbal and non-verbal responses, this crew obviously doesn't give two-hoots about the customer(s). I was lucky to get an uncaring shrug, and expecting anything resembling regret is just too much to ask for. Here is my qualifier for the whole event; we MUST ALWAYS account for the fact that these are good humans working here, and deserve every benefit of the doubt. Are they short staffed? Are they making the most of what they can? Listen, this just isn't them, too many opportunities that they just watch pass them by. Plenty of people, moving like they have concrete loafers, who are there to fulfill a commitment to...who knows, but not the customer. This is NOT a one-time event, perhaps 3 times that I can think of. Additionally, this is at 5:30 PM-prime dinner hour? Raw vegetables? Out of chicken? Pinto beans that look like a poi paste (boy these looked terrible). Let me summarize: The store is a mess, the staff is uncaring and the opposite of hustle, they apparently don't like preparing food for the dinner hour, and they have one less customer. Now, if I could only get y'all to read this before you try to go there so I could save you the trip to disappointment. If you spend the time reading some of the reviews, although it may not cover the exact event or my experience, you can see it is trending that way and without intervention this place will continue a long spiral into oblivion until the name can no-longer carry it. It will be relegated to the few suckered in by the highway sign with no knowledge of what this store is really about, just disappointment waiting to happen. The people that work here are completely incompetent and can't even take an order correctly. Went to the restaurant yesterday and placed an order, once we got home I discovered my order was incorrect. I contacted the "Manager" Liz, whom advised she would give us 2 free meals to replace the incorrect order. Liz advised she would put the gift cards by the register with my name on it and allow me to pick it up today. I went in today and the "Manager" Ashley knew nothing about the gift certificates (shocker) but was willing to honor the request (probably because it happens so frequently) . Ordered once again and the order was still incorrect. When I asked the "Manager" Ashley for a refund she advised she would have to contact the GM and see if it was allowed, in turn she told me all she could do is give me free coupons and when I went to speak she said "that's fine" and hung the phone up, if there was an option for zero stars I would select that. It's terrible that small businesses have closed up, during this pandemic, that probably had better food and more professional staff but this one has somehow remained open.
