Food was delicious.. but they said the bread lady left & no signature buns were available.. it really sucks because it was my boyfriends first time going to Texas road house & he couldn't enjoy what makes Texas Roadhouse so special. Admittedly I have not been to a Texas Roadhouse in a really long time. My hubby and I were traveling home to Illinois and decided to stop. So glad we did! The food was really good. The service was really good. I know the cactus blossom isn't the healthiest option but it was yummy. My chicken sandwich was huge. And loaded with mushrooms! Even the side of rice was tasty. My hubby got a burger. Cooked perfectly and juicy. I think the prices are reasonable for all the good, tasty food we got. Guess I need to eat here more often! read more

Love TX Roadhouse! BUT - why did I know that they would NOT pay attention to my "special instructions" that said to leave the wings dry and sauce on the side? I went ahead and put my order in thru the app. First thing I checked was the sauce on the wings? OF COURSE. Some ppl might think why not go ahead and put the sauce on the wings. The vegetables were inedible. - I thought I had broken a tooth (Literally) but I did not. - They were supposed to be steamed and tender. I imagine this is likely a one-off thing. - This is a chain, and normally I refuse to order a steak from a chain. My girlfriend and I came to the Sheboygan TRH and had a great experience!! Our server Jamie was excellent. Very helpful to both of us as it was my girlfriends first time and my first time in a while. We enjoyed our meal. We both ordered the 12 oz rib eye and it was tasty, tender and prepared just right. Our server was lovely. She was good at anticipating our needs. The only thing that keeps it from being a five star review is the food is rather salty and the music is a hair too loud. I'd consider ordering with less salt. In sheboygan my son stopped going because they can't cook a hamburger or steak to order They seem to always come out rare My friend and I ate there yesterday waitress dumped the tray just feet from our table then 15 min later our 2 steaks ordered medium came out rare Bright red center even on the edges waitress said she'd have them redo but after an hour we said no its ok. It's a chain. You go because it's familiar, and you know what you're getting. This location is no exception. The staff was all really friendly, and our server was really nice about explaining all the different steak cuts to my father in law. The crew was all wearing Packers gear since it was a game day, and I appreciated that. I got a sangria margarita, and it was fine. It tasted a little cheap but, I drank it down just fine. We started with a bloomin' onion. Woops. I mean "Cactus blossom". It has been a long time but it was just as gluttonous and delicious as I remember. For my entree I got the country fried chicken. It was perfectly fine. Cooked well with good flavor and a good gravy on top. There was nothing wrong with this meal, it was standard chain dinner eatery fair with good service. read more

Yesterday was my first visit ever to a Texas Roadhouse, and I was extremely impressed. The place was packed full of diners, so I sat at the bar, where I ordered drinks & a ribeye steak from the bartenders, Mike and Allie. The Mangorita drinks (I got two) were very, very good, with a fun extra kicker. The bartenders were friendly and fun, and made my experience very rewarding & memorable. We dined on a Sunday afternoon as a party of 3. Parking lot was full. We walked in and were seated immediately by a very nice hostess. We placed our drink and food orders at the same time. The drinks came within 5 min and the food followed 15 minutes later. Our entrees came out piping hot and delicious! Our waitress, Jordan was a doll! Very attentive, friendly and courteous. We sat down at at 6 PM and our waitress came and got our order and we all ordered water. Came back with four adult waters and I have a 2 and four year old. Can't they just give us a kids cup with water in it? Also asked her for bread and she forgot our bread continued to ignore us five times she passed us and only asked the other two tables how they were doing then I had to ask her for bread again then she finally brought a first basket of bread. She did not ask us how we were doing even after the first basket of bread. She proceeded to only go to the other two tables and then as she was passing us I had to raise my hand and asked for another basket of bread as we waited for dinner. When she took my order earlier I had asked her if she could keep my fries away from the stick so that the juice does not get sucked up by the fries she said yes for sure but when our dinner came it was all on one plate. She did not even ask me to cut into the steak Or asked if we need anything else. I had to again tell her I needed ranch and steak sauce or A1 sauce. She came back with that stuff and then never came back to the table to ask us how our dinner was. I Had to ask her for a check and no I did not leave her a tip. To start with the good. Love the online wait list. We were able to sit comfortably in the car and be called in when they were ready. The salad was very good as was the baked potato. Unfortunately we did not get the extra dressing or blue cheese crumbles we requested. Maybe it was our Canadian accent and her Tennessee accent that just didn't jive. The food arrived right on the heels of the salad and we felt rushed throughout the entire meal. When we were seated we never got any of the yummy rolls and until we were almost finished only then it was that the waitress asked if we had gotten any. Too late. Then we never got any refills. And this is supposed to be a steakhouse and the steak was the worst part of the meal! I requested a medium and got an extremely well done and it tasted like it had been marinated with some lighter fluid and was extremely salty. Everyone else's steak was rated from just mediocre to poor. The poor service coupled with the less than palatable steaks conspired against any recommendation for this place. read more

Our first visit in years hoping the quality of food and service had improved, but it hasn't. Drinks took 15-20 minutes to arrive after we ordered (we were told the had to tap a new keg), specifically told our server that there were to be no onions on one of our selections due to an allergy, but it arrived with a mound of grilled onions on top of the steak as well as a hefty side cup of sautéed onions. By the time the replacement steak arrived the other entree had pretty much been eaten and we had to ask for a box to go. The bone-in rib eye was quite gristly and the "fresh veggies " on the side were bland and the mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a box. We had a large party that we brought in with not much notice and the team at Texas Roadhouse did a wonderful job accommodating us on a busy night. Food was good quality and service excellent. We had one issue with a guest in our party where they never got their meal though. Even with multiple attempts of ask what was happening.. . And the staff never delivered. It was extremely busy... But not getting a meal to a guest is a big reduction in my review. read more

Got the black Friday deal for free monthly steak dinner. so u get a voucher for each month. Went there today for our 3rd month (march) and was told the steak I used voucher on the 1st two months wasn't covered anymore. voucher legit only says on it for one free steak dinner...that just topped off the terrible experience. ordered appetizer, along with chili and salads for our meal. appetizer came after quite some time...combo platter...food was cold...so it sat b4 brought to our table. no more than 60 seconds later our main course came put. so we have the choice of eating the appetizers as the steaks get cold...or eating main course and already cold appetizer get worse. never had a bad experience here...steaks always delicious, definitely dropped the ball today. have vouchers till end of the year but can't use for what we want so kinda pointless. and isn't like we go and get 1 free meal and that's it, the bill is always 100 bucks on top of one entree that we technically paid for on black Friday. very disappointing, will be finding different place for our steaks. read more

Arrived at TEXAS ROADHOUSE STEAKHOUSE to meet another couple for their anniversary. Ohe of us ordered FULL RACK OF RIBS, what we got was 3/4 of a rack! EVERYONE knows EVERYTHING in Texas is BIGGER! Except for a Steakhouse chain that shortchanges their customers! A "Full Rack" has a specific number of ribs. When confronting ASHLEY the Store Manager about it, SHE FREELY ADMITTED that you do NOT get a Full Rack. This is BLATANT FRAUD and should be addressed in a class action lawsuit, as it effects EVERYONE who ordered a FULL Rack, & only getting 2/3rds! And yhose who order a Half Rack, gets 1/3rd instead! I dont mind paying a fair price, but to blatent FRAUD? Whats next, Baby Pigs being used as FULL RACKS? Im p*ssed, & you should be to! I am as southern as cornbread and collard greens so this place in the middle of Wisconsin was a TREAT! I was soooo excited :) We walked in and immediately are greeted with kindness and I really love that the waitstaff all have shirts that say I LOVE MY JOB on the back of their shirts. LOL nice touch. HAHA. I could really tell that they DID love their job because some of the waitstaff had Packer Jerseys on. It was Game Day and the Packers won last night so it was so neat to see that on game day they allowed their staff to wear packer Jerseys. Very cool! Our waitress was amazingly sweet. She was funny, she made conversation, she was polite and she KNEW great customer service. I was extremely pleased :) The table next to us had a birthday and this 43 year old guy gets up on a saddle and she made it really cute/funny for him and you could tell she really loved her job. (I will NEVER go their for my birthday. No offense Roadhouse but I used to waitress at a roadhouse and I embarrassed people all the time with that birthday yeehaw and I would FREAK if it ever happened to me! And the veggies :) the VEGGIES oh my my my what is the juice?? its like water, but flavored its almost got a lemony flavor to it and whatever it is, I really liked it! lemony veggies. I don't know I liked it though! My chicken was really juicy and tender not undercooked, not overcooked, just perfect. The manager (who I personally loved because he looks like John Rich from Big & Rich. LOL!!! love Big & Rich!) came over and asked us how we liked our meals. Now I remember when I worked at a Roadhouse and our managers did the same thing. And I thought at the time wow, that is really awesome that the MANAGER wants to know how the customers like the food.
