One of my faves in Manitowoc! Been going here about every week for the past three years haha! Love all burgers (mushroom and Swiss!!! ) and free ice cream coupons. One of my least favorite things about Culver's is their fries, which are basically just pieces of potato and are practically inedible when they aren't piping hot. Usually they are though, which is good! We've had our fair share of order mixups, but they are always quick to make it up, usually with free food. The service is mostly friendly, managers are great when there are any problems. Very clean, both the dining areas and bathrooms. Definitely recommend ! read more

First, Honestly, I've only ever ate seafood here in Manitowoc over a dozen times. Yes of course, custard too. The BIGGEST PLUS here, and here ONLY is their THICK fish portions hand breaded. Double the fish than breading. Huge plus. So fresh, never fishy but juicy, delicious. Their butterfly shrimp is different. It is SUPER crispy and stays that way. Even until the next morning. All of their sauces are special and unique. Nothing ordinary at all. They also offer large family size side dishes such as coleslaw, mashed potatoes (real not instant) and huge portions of cheese curds, onion rings, fries etc. They also offer fresh veggies and salad as a side dish. Their staff is 100% friendly. Never ever a bad experience. Best "fast food" restaurant EVER! Nice indoor dining too. I have zero info on the smash burgers, sorry. I came here for a quick lunch. As a matter of fact, I went through the drive-through to order. The drive-through was fast and had good service. Mr fish sandwich was as good as any Culver's that I have been to. As I live here now, this will be my go-to Culvers. read more

As an early Father's Day, my kids took me by the Culver's for my favorite hot fudge sundae. The only thing was, to paraphrase Clara Peller - Where's the hot fudge??! We didn't eat them until we got back home and just for curiosity sake we scraped the minuscule hot fudge that was just rather smeared on one half side of the dish into a tablespoon measuring spoon. And it didn't even fill the spoon! How can this even be called a Sundae? For certain we won't be coming back. If I had wanted vanilla custard I would've gotten two scoops of it and not a two scoop sundae with a bare hint of fudge. We would've laughed; but, didn't really see the joke that was on us. read more

Gosh, three visits in the past month and always an extended wait. Food is good, but when you are on your lunch break you just can't spend 20+ minutes waiting for your food. You should checkout the location in Delavan WI, never had to wait longer than 10 minutes AND the burger was always wrapped in wax paper so it was less messy. Your location needs help. read more

I have had their fish sandwiches, they are pretty dang good. Lately we've had their vegeburger. The patties are not some gruesome Impossible Burger, they are made with toasted chick peas as the main ingredient. Their vegeburgers are better than most. Their sides, as in onion rings and fries are also pretty good. They take your order at the window and put a number on your car. You park and someone brings your order to your car. This makes a drive up very efficient. I checked out the ingredients on their broccoli cheese soup and, yes, they put in chicken fat. I contacted the management suggesting that they make a vegetarian soup instead. Imagine my surprise. I got an answer the next day saying they would consider my suggestion. This demonstrates that they, at least, listen. Bottom line, Culvers is much better fast food than you can find elsewhere. If you're looking for a fast and tasty nosh, it would behoove you to patronize this locally owned restaurant. read more

A fish sandwich was older than me . stunk so bad it went in the trash seconds after leaving the drive through. I also had a turtle Sunday. Basically vanilla ice cream with one pecan no Carmel plain vanilla. This has to be the worst Culver's ever! The health department needs to visit them and close them. I will never go to Culvers again! read more

VEGGIE BURGER heaven. At freaking Culvers. In Manitowoc. Culver's is a chain fast food restaurant known for burgers and custard (which is ice cream with egg yolks in it). The veggie burger was delicious. I mean, best meal I ate all weekend, and we went to Door County. Soft bun, yummy pickles, melted cheese, a delectable veggie patty (that didn't pretend to be meat but actually looked like grains, beans, etc.). Home run. The customer service was amazing. All the workers were really friendly, from the cashier to the person who brought our food to the girl who held the door for us and wished us a good night. The owner/manager should be proud. Everything was up to par except the custard: it was cookie dough. I mean, there was barely any custard, the dish was 95% cookie dough bits. Yuck. I should have complained but didn't. read more

During our dine in my 7 year old daughter used the restroom which was in sight of our table. While she was using the restroom another female customer entered, shortly after that a male staff member approached the bathroom with paper towels. At this time he knocked and cracked the door and then proceeded to enter the occupied female restroom. I immediately went into the restroom to address why he would enter with 2 female occupants one being a minor, this Staff member at no time left or apologized just gestured to the door cracked with a waste basket and that he was "told it was okay". At no point should a male employee be entering a female bathroom with a minor child who "gave the okay". The men's restroom was also out of paper towels and could have been changed until the women's was empty. read more

This Culver's is a very clean place. It also tends to be a step up fast food place. The food is always delicious and served in a timely manner. Many people use the drive thru so if you are in a rush, I would suggest the drive thru. The employees that take your order are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. The employees that bring the food out to you are not as friendly. But I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! read more

The food was hot and fresh. All of the staff was so friendly and had big smiles on their faces. They seemed to really care about their role at work and I appreciated it. When I got there, there was a large obnoxious group of teens. I almost left. An employee kindly asked them to tone it down and they did. Bathrooms are so clean too.
