Do not order QDoba through DoorDash. That's what I learned tonight. The menu makes it seem like certain items like salsas and cremas will come on the side. That would make sense, because if you just threw them on a taco, it would be a disgusting soggy mess after traveling only 1.5 miles. Which is exactly what happened. Today I was picking up an online order and a woman worker was texting infront of customers before moving to the back, disappearing for a while, then coming back. Had a really good experience at this Qdoba. I had a very long extensive order that any worker would have been annoyed to get and these boys were so helpful and patient with me. They were honestly the nicest restaurant workers I ever met, with really friendly personalities as well! They were quick and efficient. I also didn't know Qdoba had Impossible meat & I wouldn't have known that but they were so helpful while trying to get all my orders in. The food was good and perfectly prepared. This place is off our list. We ordered through DoorDash and it was a complete disaster. First, when the food didn't arrive when promised, we called the restaurant. They said they hadn't started the order because they were out of the pork we ordered. They never called or messaged to get a substitute. Next, when DoorDash said the delivery person was near, we saw him wandering on our street, going door to door. Our house number is clearly displayed in two places at the front of our house. When we finally got the food, the Chicken Protein Bowl looked nothing like the menu picture. There were no black beans, extra chicken or guacamole. The fajita vegetables were hardly cooked. Love Qdoba, but yesterday's order was really disappointing. The tacos shells were torn and very greasy and it was impossible to hold to eat. So had to use a fork. I'm only give two stars because the brownie was delicious! Everything else was such a let down! First off the like counter was dirty and everything looked kind of left out. My burrito was cold, tortilla was hard, chicken hard and the rice was so hard it was the worse part! Our visit here tonight was disgrace, I'm not usually one to complain about stuff but there was just so much wrong here. First there was only 2 people working the front and the line was to the door. It felt like forever to get to the register and finally got to pay and sit. Then we find there are no napkins and there is a broken bottle of hot sauce right in front of the soda machine. At this point I wanted to just get the hell out of there. Almost every table was dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned all day. I went in to place my order around 6:30 stated that I needed a bowl, the young man on the line stated that there were not any shells left he let to what appeared to be a manager know and she said ok, I also ordered two burritos. They were both made and I let the cashiers know that I still needed a bowl and the same young lady that was told that shells were needed yelled out "Well its going to be a while since Im the only one that can make them." This location was very clean, despite what I have read in other reviews. At noon on a weekday, there was only one other group of people eating here and no line. The girl who made my food was very nice and my meal was prepared at lighting speed. Unfortunately Qdoba discontinued my favorite meal choice here- which was a "pick 2"- where you could pick 2 items off the menu and get smaller portions of them. Such as a small quesadilla and small salad. Well, this was gone :( So I ordered a children's quesadilla and added fajita peppers. It came with a drink and tortilla chips for only $4.30 with tax!!! The quesadilla was excellent, but the Pico di Gallo on the side was super bland! Usually the Pico is really good here. I don't know if it was the tomatoes which weren't great, or they didn't add any lime juice to the Pico, but it was flavorless. Very dissapointing!! There was No steak, no black beans, and no chicken i stood and waited for about 20 mins maybe 25 mins the only meat available was ground beef and pork...i don't eat beef nor pork! I have been to every qdoba in the area and this one used to be my favorite but clearly the management here is lacking and slacking... Once some chicken was available the girls working the station didn't say anything I stood and watched and had to remind them I was here first waiting for chicken ..they didn't even have spoons for the chicken to properly portion out the food. I am truly saddened about my experience here...qdoba is one of my favorite to go restaurants and I had a bad experience at the city Ave location last week because of a girl giving me a hurry up and buy attitude every time that i go there and now this one on old York this week with a bad experience like come on! Look this is fast food in a nice atmosphere for fast food - nothing more. If you order wisely you can have a decent made to order Americanized Mexican style meal. If you order in another way you can have even more fat then a big mac - it's your choice. The Food at Qdoba's is always a treat. The menu is fine. Now. Your employees, they need a refresher in the customer service and civil etiquette arena. Be warned folks, they change in the restrooms and one gentlemen might curse you smooth out if you come in (not knowing it's his personal bathroom). Also, why was this same employee carrying his shoes through the kitchen? And I don't mean on his feet, but above the waist at counter level! As for me and my family, this location is off limits. We ordered in store for takeout around 7PM Monday and the man preparing all the food on the front line was not wearing his mask. It was down around his chin, covering only his bottom lip. I felt uncomfortable asking him to put it on, but I was really shocked that no one else working there asked him to. The young woman at the register could clearly see him, and while I was in line two other people working there, mainly in the back, came up to the front and to the seating area several times. Neither said a word about it, and it was so obvious that I can't fathom they didn't notice. This would have been unhealthy if he had been a customer standing in line, but HE WAS MAKING UP THE ORDERS. Wow....this place left me speechless, it was truly one of the dirtiest if not THE dirtiest eating establishment we've ever been to. We went in with no expectations. This chain is not local to our area and we didn't know what to expect. Basically it's like a "Subway" set up but for cheap Americanized Mexican food. If you are new to the food and concept as we were you might want to look over a menu online first as I felt we were shuttled like cattle and discouraged from really looking over and rushed into picking what we wanted. I choose three tacos with pulled pork, assuming it was the carnitas I've come to expect with Mexican. I think not, it was a ladle of slop basically that vaguely resembled meat. A considering it was an upcharge for pork the portion size was very meek. Approximately a tablespoon total for three tacos! My partner ordered chicken quesadilla and the portion size of the meat was no better. If they want to charge prices like this they need to up the meat! While the rest of the toppings looked fresh, again we were rushed thru the line, although there was no one behind us to pick our fixings. The dining hall was disgusting! Stainless tables full of crumbs, smears, and snot like residue. The floors were filthy. We put our food on the table and it all but collapsed on us as there was a problem with the stability. The flavors were not impressive either - both of our meals ending up being a runny, sloppy mess dripping all over the place and leaving us very unsatisfied and hungry.
