4.5yo eating Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries and Chick-fil-A Nuggets
    Cathy W.

Took my 4.5yo daughter to enjoy some time here with food and their playground. I just think Chick-fil-A doesn't disappoint their customers much. This location got big parking lot. Very clean when we step in and staffs are constantly cleaning on tables. I ordered phone via their app and they would bring your order to you, which is great for a mom who also have to watch over a 7mos baby in the stroller. I personally think the playground/play area needs a little upgrade because it's quite small, hahaa. Maybe cause my little one play there from 1.5yo til like 4.5yo now. Even though it isn't that big, she had so much fun. She made new friends, play and run around, go up and down the mini jungle gym and slide down and of course, repeat that couple hundred times. By the time we're leaving, she was sweaty! Food wise, I believe this time the waffle fries aren't crispy enough. But the chicken nuggets were great! And my daughter and i love their Chick-fil-A sauce!!!

Not sure I'm a fan of this sandwich- a bit too greasy

Not a fan of this location. They always seem to make mistakes with my order in drive thru and the chicken sandwiches just don't taste as good as other Chick fil a I have been too around my neighborhood. It seems like the people who work here aren't following the same high standards that other restaurants have on their food, or customer service at that. When ever I come to this restaurant, I look forward to be treated respectfully and hearing the thanks for coming and its my pleasure, and this location was lacking it on many of the occasions I have come. The last time I came, the chicken sandwich was soaked in grease and not like any other sandwich I had from this restaurant.

Just like many other Chick-fil-A and this one is the same. They get a booming business.... But this location is bad. With Texas road house on one side and golden corell on the other. The parking is a night mare. So just be prepared to driving around looking for spot. The inside is nice. With many seats. And a okay playground for the kids to play. When it comes to the employees... Some need more training. I had the spicy deluxe combo... They never put the lettuce or tomato on my sandwich... I will probably come back after most Kinks get worked out...

We decided to stop for a late lunch at the Chick-fil-A in Bensalem Pennsylvania. The large parking lot was able to accommodate our truck and trailer. There was plenty of friendly staff available to take our order. Others were restocking items in low supply. An extremely impressive young manager carried a large pail of ice in each arm to the front and dumped them in to storage bins. It was good to see her work harder and faster than anyone else there. I would work for a boss like that. The food was good with the consistency I've grown to expect from Chick-fil-A. The restrooms were in bad shape with a lot of water on the floor and no towels to dry your hands in the men's room. They may have just finished the lunch rush and hadn't had a chance to tend to it. I'll give them a pass this time. Overall, a pleasant experience with good tasty food. I'll be back.

This is $3.90 strips tiny one is bigger than the other but still very small.

Been here two times. First time in December after a long flight home with the kids. The food was terrible. It was after 9pm. The fries were so salty that they were inedible. The nuggets were soggy the kids would not touch them. I contacted the owner which did little to remedy the situation. He told me to come in and he would replace the items which is a joke after having a bad experience. He should at least comp be meals. Second bad experience was last week. I went through the drive through was in a hurry only order a 12 piece nugget meal. I pull away and my son opens the food after we got on the highway to his game and there was a three piece tender instead of the nuggets. Again the owner said he would replace the item that was wrong. This does not help that the employees there messed up my order. As of now I will not return to this establishment. I visit the one by Neshaminy Mall often. I go out of my way to that one even though this one is 5 min from our house. Was hoping this one would be better. But if ownership and management just don't care what can you do.

Why did it feel like I personally offended them just by existing I'm standing in line watching straight up eye rolling like I'm in a reality show. The cashier was being kinda rude to a man who didn't speak much English, which was already a red flag. Then when we asked for hot sauce on the side, the worker looked at us like we asked him to solve world hunger... rolled his eyes and basically YEETED it in the bag. Now let's talk about this "loaded mac and cheese"...... WHERE WAS THE MAC??? I'm not even kidding, it was like 80% sauce, 15% hopes and dreams, and 5% actual noodles. And the chicken?? They were guarding that like it was rare treasure. I've seen Chipotle be stingy, but this?? criminal. I will say, the place is cute, very aesthetic, giving TikTok core BUT the tables??? why am I sitting at a crime scene. Crumbs, sauce, dirt... like did nobody believe in wiping things down?? Overall, it looked amazing online but in real life... yeah I'm gonna have to pass. My mac and cheese shouldn't be playing hide and seek.

Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich - This was the biggest disappointment. The chicken breast was extremely thick and had a grainy texture that made me wonder if it was chicken breast with rib meat. If that's the case, it gives the impression that quality isn't a priority. The breading also fell off with almost every bite, and the sandwich wasn't well proportioned (one oversized tomato slice that wasn't cut evenly). Most importantly, it didn't taste like Nashville hot at all -- more like "Nashville not." Shrimp Po' Boy - Below average. The shrimp had a slightly fishy taste, and the bread didn't resemble proper po' boy bread. The greens were a spring mix, which felt like an odd choice. Traditional shredded lettuce would have worked much better. I've had po' boys in Louisiana, and while I wasn't expecting complete authenticity, I was expecting something closer to the spirit of the dish. This version missed the mark. Smash Burger - Probably the best of the three mains we ordered, but still just average. I've honestly had better smash burgers at chains like Shake Shack. Sides: The fries were great. We ordered the beer cheese sauce, which was fine but not necessary. The onion rings were the standout -- perfectly crispy with a clean bite. The homemade ranch served with them was excellent. Overall, I really wanted to like this place more, but the food didn't deliver enough for me to return.

My sister and husband liked their classic chicken sandwich but both agree that it needs to come with some kind of spread like mayo or maybe a house sauce to kick the roll up a notch. I also had an empanada on my ride home as a treat and boy was it - hot, crispy, and flavorful. I also like that the prices are kept down some by making a drink optional especially with the prices of soft drinks in Philly. The gentleman who took my order was very nice, patient, and helpful. The atmosphere is like a traditional fast food vibe. In the area? Check Them Out! I look forward to a return trip for their fried chicken, their unique sides, and their chicken bowl :0)

After doing a search on…read morethe chain, they advertise that they were among the top ten fast food chicken restaurants in the nation. The chicken I tried was decent, but not necessarily a big favorite of mine. Located in a former KFC which was closed for years and a Boston Market that never came to fruition, when I drove by a little before 2pm it was like a major event with traffic blocking Frankford Avenue, and a long line out the door. I decided anyway that if people like this place that much, I should wait it out. I parked my car (DO NOT PARK AT 7/11 or AutoZone - you'll get towed) and got in line. By the time I got to the entrance door, the line had grown even larger and snaked around the restaurant. Once inside, it was a mini amusement park ride with another line before getting to the cashier. Total time in line for me was about 75 minutes. If I took a shot with the drive through, it may have been a bit shorter, but I wanted to check out the inside of the place. Pollo Campero must be huge with the Hispanic population. I think I was the only non-Spanish speaker. The long line was well behaved and thankfully the weather was quite good with a full breeze. The restaurant had multiple staff in safety vests to direct traffic and one was at the door making sure that nothing got out of hand by restricting people entering the place. The clean place was packed with families, and the buzz was palpable. The two cashiers were asking people lots of questions and the young and friendly cashier I had was very soft spoken which required me to ask her to repeat a lot of the questions. I ended up getting a bunch of different things just to try and get a flavor of many different foods. I got a 4-piece mixed grilled and fried chicken, a chicken sandwich, and a 3-piece empanadas. Sides with everything I chose the rice, beans, coleslaw, and plantains. Overall, I liked all the food (I didn't eat all of it, just tried) and will have some for later meals. The fried chicken was crispy and I liked the grilled chicken more. Loved the plantains. The coleslaw was mayo based and had a kick to it. The chicken sandwich was dry and needed sauce on the average roll. I liked the empanadas but my wife was not impressed. They were full of chicken and they had a mustard like sauce inside which I enjoyed. The rice was bland, and beans were flavorful. It was about $36 total for everything. They have Pepsi products here (thumbs down) and also a machine with a trio of other choices (see my picture)! Pollo Campero is not my newest most favorite fried chicken place. But the food was good, and they have a loyalty program if you get their app. They also do catering. When i did a search, they appeared to be all over the Trenton, NJ area so I don't know if this is their first Philadelphia location. Anyway, I wish them much luck in the business. I'm sure the Popeyes across the street was jealous with Pollo Campero's huge outpouring of customers!
