I only visited Qdoba because they had a $5 off of an entree coupon through T-Mobile Tuesdays and I was informed weeks ago that you can get guac for free. I placed my order online for the next day to pick up during my lunch break. I was surprised they only had a location at Dobbin in no longer in the Columbia Mall and had to drive almost 15 minutes to pick up my food. I arrived and when I gave the young lady at check out my name she couldn't find my order. I ran inside thinking that it would be very quick and left my phone in the car so then I had to go back to get my phone to look up the order number to provide. As I scanned my emai, I saw a message about an error in transmission with sending my order to the restaurant. I informed her of this and she then spoke with a young lady who was preparing the dishes that I later found out was the manager, and asked me to place my order again. I gave her my order and I inform them of my coupon I had from T-Mobile and that's when everything changed. The manager got really nasty with me and said I couldn't use it and that it had expired. I informed her I placed the order online for pick up the next day and already paid and that it wasn't expired when I placed the order. I also showed her the QR code that was still in my app at that time although it did show an expiration date of the day prior, it was still there. She made a big fuss about it and stated that I wasn't able to use it and how it was expired. At this moment I found myself getting upset because I clearly paid for my meal the day prior and if I wasn't able to use the coupon, why did it allow me to. I definitely would not have wasted my time and would have made other arrangements for lunch. I wasn't doing anything unjust and I didn't appreciate her tone she now took with me. I was about to leave without my food and she stated that she would make an exception for me this time. I paused as I thought about how wrong this felt, then stated it wasn't an exception, it was the right thing to do since their website was malfunctioning. I have used codes like this many times before and purchased food days in advance to make sure I was still able to take advantage of the promo code. Other restaurants you're not able to do it. How am I supposed to know this was a restaurant where you couldn't do it when the order went through successfully? I really do not like when people who have the ability to correct whatever the problem is tells you they're not going to do it again. What sense does that make? How about fix your website so that this problem doesn't exist. She doesn't have to worry about doing it again for me because I won't be going back. But small portion size and poor food quality leads me to believe that the employees were more interested in talking and fooling around with each other instead of running a restaurant. The worst of the worst, in every way. What was advertised: I was looking at the picture of their Nachos, a pile of crisp tortilla chips with various meats and cheezes that I could select. That is what I wanted. Ordering: Using their online ordering page for delivery food is nearly impossible. I tried 4 times before giving up and taking what I was forced to order. There were other choices listed in their confusing array of selections, but it would not accept the items I selected. Nevertheless, after accepting the items they allowed me to select, I expected a minimum of something that resembled the picture. What arrived: I received a cardboard saucer filled with slop and a paper bag filled with the remnants of well crushed chips. The slop, reminiscent of what one dumps into a pig trough, comprised all the toppings and sauces I had ordered; NOT on the chips but randomly scrambled, cold, in a bowl. The Food: It actually did taste OK, but I could hardly force myself to eat the cold slurry. It looked regurgitated. Dumping it on cold chip fragments did not help. Summary: NEVER again. I visited this Qdoba for the second time last night. I ordered a burrito with chicken, brown rice, three cheese queso, and ancho bbq sauce with a wheat tortilla. The tortilla was perfectly cooked and didn't have an over powering grainy flavor or texture. The star of the burrito was the three cheese queso. The queso had a good cheesy flavor, wasn't spicy, and blended nicely with the rice. The chicken wasn't terrible but it was chewy and there were some fatty pieces. The ancho bbq sauce wasn't bad either but nothing spectacular either. The service was fast and friendly. It's a little confusing getting to the location because it's in a shopping center off the main road. The parking lot is full of pot holes and could use a repaving. If you are just looking for a standard burrito there is no reason to go out of your way to go here. If you want good queso then you should try this place. read more

Went to the Columbia location at least once. The time I recall was in January 2018. They were running a promotion where if you went 4 times in January, you got a free bowl or burrito in February. The other 3 times I went to the Fairland location on Tech Road. I love the steak & chicken bowls at Qdoba! The line was long on that Tuesday night, but it moved relatively quickly. Unlike Chipotle, they don't upcharge for queso or guac. It's not that far from office; I should go back to this location, but either never think to, don't want that much food, or have a coupon or discount to somewhere else. read more

My boyfriend and I dropped in here while waiting our turn for a haircut at Sport Clips next door, so I appreciate the convenience. The interior was fairly empty except for a few people already seated eating their lunches. There was no one in line when we joined it, and all staff were attentive, friendly, in proper uniform, and well groomed. I ordered three tacos but was not given the option for crispy or soft shell---they may very well not have crispy. I was offered corn or flour tortilla, and I chose flour. I built my own taco for $3 or so each and loaded up with every possible vegetarian ingredient that did not cost extra. Guacamole was included! The tacos tasted great, with fresh ingredients and interesting flavors. The amount I ordered was just right. I also drank a fountain beverage (root beer), which was cold, refreshing, and had the right amount of syrup (not watered down as I've abundantly experienced elsewhere). The interior is spacious, well lit, and comfortable in temperature. I did not evaluate the restroom on this visit. I noticed that there is no salsa bar, and the restaurant does not have a separate recycling receptacle next to the trash can, which is why I knocked down a star.
