last night my wife and i went into the concord NH anna's for the first time, and it had to be one…read moreof the grossest burrito's i have ever gotten. both my wife and i are vegetarians, but i also have a meat allergy. i mentioned my allergy first and foremost to the girl making the food and both girls heard me.  she was polite and asked me if she needed to change out the white cutting board they prepare the food on, and i said no, as long as its covered with paper and she ended up using a piece of foil, no problem there. this is when things began to go south. the very first topping she placed on my burrito was a rice filled with chicken, i would have not noticed it, but the other girl came over and told her what she had just done, the girl picked it up and threw it in the trash and began again. neither girl changed their gloves upon beginning making the food, i watched them touch all sorts of items including cleaning rags with the same gloves. by the time she got to rolling / wrapping the burrito, it became evident that possibly she was a trainee?,  because she rolled and opened and rerolled it numerous times, it became a pile of nasty looking mush. it was extremely gross to watch it transpire. by the third or fourth go, she got it somewhat rolled and was about to place it in aluminum foil.  i looked at her and i said, well, we are going to eat here, so you can just place it in one of those cardboard "boats" (the same one the other girl had placed my wife's burrito in.) the girl looked at me and said, well, if i do that, it will just fall apart, i looked at it and i agreed and said ok, and as she went to wrap it up in tin foil, the other girl must have misheard me and thought i had said "BOWL" instead of "boat", she came over, grabbed the burrito out of the girls hands and opened it up and placed it open faced onto a bowl and told the girl to add more beans and rice.  at this point, both my wife and my face probably shown some discontent, and i think the second girl who placed it in a bowl, realized what she had done and the original girl just seemed super confused, as were we. i looked at the girl who placed it in a bowl, and i said, well, how much extra would it cost us, if i just bought a second tortia wrap and you place all of that into it?, she said nothing, it will be free. so thats what she did.  the wraps themselves were wet with steam and quite gross & rubbery, never have i had one like that, and all said and done, it was absolutely gross and off putting, i had to force what i could if it, down my throat. lastly 26 dollars and change for two burritos was a bit high, but this experience was more about the awful non professional food prep. please note that both girls were polite.

Do not be turned off by the lines, the staff moves very quickly while still ensuring every burrito/bowl/chili/quesadilla is made perfectly. The staff in general is always super friendly to every customer even when it is very busy. They are very accommodating to any modifications or food allergies. I frequent the Oliver Street location several times a week, and it blows every other lunch spot in the Financial District out of the water. From the outside it's hard to tell but once you enter the space it's pleasantly very warm and inviting, bright and modern. It's a large space with booths and high chairs and regular table seating.
