I really like coming here. It's my favorite nail salon in Escondido. They always remember you and are honest when the wait time is a bit high unlike other salons that just want the business and do not care about your time restraints. They are always fully staffed here. Reasonable prices and they do a great job. Even when they are busy- they do not rush! Tons of gel colors to choose from. I used to get acrylic nails but now I'm trying to grow my real nails out so I just did a gel manicure and they had a great special going on that. First off, they are terribly understaffed. They technically close at 7pm but continued to accept people even past closing, which was really nice. I went in for a pedicure and was there for an hour and a half. I didn't mind too much since I got to take full advantage of the massage chair for about 45 min but still a bit ridiculous. Not sure why there's so many negative reviews but I love this place. Yes it's family owned and therefore have few people working there but they do a good job with everything. They remember who you are and unlike other places they talk to you while they are doing the work. They are also kid friendly. There's times they do get busy but it's because they won't rush through your work to take someone else which many other places I've been to do. In my last visit they offered new products and I loved it. They are worth visiting! No bad experiences. read more

I rarely write reviews but as I lay here with my toes throbbing I felt I had to. This is my first time to this salon since I was looking for one open on a Sunday and they were the only ones that had no wait. Now I see why. I was greeted right away and asked what I wanted. I told her a mani/pedi. When I sat down the girl asked me again what I wanted I told her and she pointed to the chart which listed mani/pedi as option 5. So I pointed and said #5. She pointed to the shape of my nails so I said square with rounded edges. After a little too gentle of a massage and an excruciating cuticle removal I look down and see my big toe short on one side and long on the other. After arguing with the girl and every other employee about wanting it straight across which the owner said would look worse because my nail would look too short. The owner told the girl to move and with a roll of the eyes and an attitude she took the polish off and filed it evenly. Then my finger nails were being done by another girl and she laughed and said sorry when I pointed to the cotton balls that were left underneath making the polish bubble out so she re-did it. I later realized only the owner could speak or understand any English. I went to pay and they said it would be $15 more than what #5 is listed as. The owner said the girl gave you a number #6 deluxe that doesn't even come with a manicure. After arguing with me in front of the customers she agreed and I gave them a $10 tip and they still glared at me. After I left I looked down and realized my toes hurt so much because the were bleeding!!!! Never again. Anny's Nails from now on! read more

I love this place! It's my go to for pedicures and gel manicures. I love the leg massage and I've never had someone do such a good job trimming my cuticles without gouging them. There are 1-2 gals who are talented at nail art, but if you don't request them in advance you may be disappointed with the results. I was in town, running an errand for my husband this morning and came across this nail salon. Had been wanting to do my nails for a while but couldnt find a salon that i liked. I hate that some places are dirty, too busy and dont give you good service, and some cant do a good nail job in general, so i was a little scared going in to a new place i had never been before. I peeked in and it looked clean, they were friendly and somewhat busy, but still able to take me in. So i went and I absolutely loved it! I love how much attention they pay to detail and to make sure all nails are the same length and look good. Also, i accidentally slammed my Lexus door on my thumb the night before, and it was swollen with a small scrape and still very sore, and the guy who did my nails was extra gentle with my finger!!! I also liked how when he asked me about the length, the one he suggested,was the perfect length, sometimes they make them too short with all the filing or too long but these are perfect! Another thing that i liked was that I originally picked a light pink color and when he was about to apply the gel, he warned me it was going to look see-thru (which was not the look i was going for) and showed me on one of my nails exactly how it looked, i ended up not liking it and he was patient and let me change colors! I didnt feel rushed like at other places when they get mad cause you cant pick a color quick. Overall it was a great experience, and even though it's somewhat of a drive for me because I don't live in escondido, i will definitely be back!!! read more

to be completely honest, my nails looked beautiful, however, a few days later one of them came off. i don't do anything that puts a huge strain on my nails, so i know it's not something i did. i went back, they fixed it free of charge. ANOTHER few days goes by and another fell off and one is lifting. i would go back to get it fixed but i feel like it's a waste of time at this point. they barely put any glue on and seem very rushed when they do your nails. read more

I been coming here for almost 2 yrs. I love how they do my nails, plus I easily get in-grow toe nails and they know how to fix them without hurting me... The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is that they never open on time. Right now it's the holiday season and I have gone twice and both times they were close.
