Good customer service. Went here the first time, they told me that it was $40 refill but upon my service, price was a bit more; however, it was reasonable so I opted for it. Also, the person I made an appointment with, got switched...which often happens at these smaller Asian store. The lashes are light and they truly spend time on it. They informed me that all lashes will be remove each time I come for a refill-this is something that was anew to me. Usually, at other places, you would have to pay for lashes removal and be charge for a new set. Not here. Here's the thing, even though they do remove your lashes at touchup appointment, the fees are different, depending upon when you return for a refill. I assumed it should be less or same price since they would be removing all the lashes, however, add $20 for every week after you got the lash done. What I did appreciate was that they do a follow-up call and if you are unsatisfied, they will redo or touch up, free of charge. read more

I'm semi-picky and I've had bad experiences in the past, so I just kind of assume I'd have to try out a few before finding the perfect lash girl! Luckily for me, I found Jolene through Yelp after doing some extensive research, and holy cow this girl is amazing! She's been doing it for forever so she is very thorough yet quick and efficient. She basically gives you a full set everytime you come in for the price of a fill (apparently it keeps your natural lashes healthier to take them off and apply new ones everytime, than to mix the old and new.) I have mixed reviews about this place and my comments play into my decision to not return. The location is very old, outdated and does not have a receptionist. Vivian was 15 minutes late with no apology. She spent half of my appointment talking to her mom as well as answering her phone! I believe my lashes looked pretty good overall but the following day my lashes started falling out. By day 5 I had lost half of my lashes. It has been two weeks and I would say I have less than a 1/3 of the lashes remaining on each eye. I don't even want to go anywhere! I can't decide if I should go elsewhere or just have them removed. Now if I would have paid around $90 for a full set and less for a fill than I might be willing to call Vivian and give her another chance. I just can't justify $150+ tip for a run down, unprofessional job, AND my lashes didn't stay on! read more

I LOVE MY LASHES!! I was lucky to have met CANDY when I was searching for a lash salon in the area. Their salon is in an older building, and the inside is very clean with enclosed rooms for each client. We went over options regarding lash shape, thickness, and different looks. She did my full set in 1 hour!! My lashes are full, beautiful, and very comfortable. I have hooded lids and can usually feels my lashes no matter which salon I go to. With Candy's lashes, I don't even notice they are there. LOVE IT! She recommended I come back for a fill every 2-3 weeks. What's nice about their fills is they remove your old lash extensions before applying a new set during a "fill" session. Every other salon I know just adds on lashes while leaving old lashes which often times can have build up and lifting even if they haven't fallen off yet. Give this salon a try! Q-Lashes was the first eyelash extension salon I went to. The prices were great and both Vivian and Jolene were very nice and consultative. I followed the care instructions closely because I was a n00b with lash extensions. Every time I left the salon, my eyes would feel dry and bothered. For the rest of the day, I would try to fish out whatever was in there. After a couple of times, I caught on and realized that there were strings of dried glue hanging from my lashes into my eyeballs, causing the discomfort. I also noticed that every time I washed my hair and water got into my eyes, they burned really badly - even 2 weeks after getting my lashes done. After week 1, the individual lashes started going every which way and I thought all of this was part of the deal (and I tried to think that people can't see how crazy my lashes were). Since then, I've moved away from Huntington Beach and I now go to a different salon in my new neighborhood. This is when I learned that there shouldn't be strings of glue and my eyes shouldn't burn. With my new place, I've been able to wear my lashes for as long as 3+ weeks and they didn't look crazy! For reference, I usually get "natural" and "fuller" lashes, no fancy mink or Russian volume lashes. read more

With my move to California, I was a little nervous about leaving Ebeni and finding another lash tech that was just as good. I'm so glad to have found Q-lashes. Scheduling an appointment was easy, they can pretty much accommodate your schedule. Jolene did my lashes and I couldn't be more pleased. Jolene is fast and very professional and she makes my lashes come out perfect each time. Prices are very reasonable. A full set is $65 and touch ups are $40 for two weeks and $45 for three weeks.
