The company then quoted me $2200 as the cost to replace it and reiterated that this did not include the $99 that they already charged me. So yes, had I gone with that company, it would have cost me $2300. Armed with this information, I posted pictures and exactly what the "diagnosis" said and asked for emailed quotes...to be clear I said EMAIL only. I then got no less than 10 phone calls saying "please give us a call so we can talk about your situation. Some called more than once. Lakeland Heating and Cooling (Jason) was nothing like that... $1270 flat rate to replace the water heater. Yes, thats how he replied in his email.. as I requested. He came in.. with the water heater... replaced it... and went on his way. Other companies, that followed directions, also came in higher than $2000. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with Jason and Lakeland! High Quality, Tremendous VALUE

As I sit here reading some of the negative comments regarding services that were performed by RCM,…read moreI feel compelled to post my experience that I have had for the last 7 years with this company. Not only has RCM maintained my furnace and a/c unit on several occasions , they did a full installation of a new unit. I should have listened to Chris from the start when she suggested to replace my furnace on the first service call they made. At the time money was tight and I just needed the temporary fix (bandaid) to keep it running. They answered every call no matter what time it was, they were there! Even after making the suggestion of a new unit. I have never in any of my dealings with not only Chris but the field personnel as well ever had anything negative to say about anyone at RCM. My experience with them has been A++ and nothing less than great! I must add one other note. My 22 year old son bought a house this past year and unbeknownst to him his furnace was going in and out during the winter months. Keep in mind they had just had a baby boy so there was a newborn in the house. My son called me at 2am to tell me that the furnace went out and it was dropping below 50° in the house. I rushed over with heaters to get the temperature up and called Chris at the wee morning hours . Not sure exactly the time but it was before normal working hours for anyone. She cared for that newborn like she was part of our family and I will never forget that! She had a service member from her team over at his house in less than an hour and repaired the furnace. So excuse me in advance when I say this, RCM is a normal business that is here to perform a service and in return make money. When I hear false comments like some of the previous posts that are so FALSE AND SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH! This is one of the best companies that i have ever dealt with regarding home improvement or services. Because you dont get anything for free and dont get your way doesn't mean to jump on social media and slander someone's service that by all means dont deserve. You cannot put a price on the service that these people give! Thank you to RCM for not only having great service but having quality products at a competitive price!

Briefly put, we agreed on $350 diagnostics fee for 2 units and everything that might be needed in excess will be called in for approval before proceeding. In addition to before and after pictures to be taken + a manager's signoff. A few hours later I called the office and was told that the technician has left site and the total cost was $545 for resetting a breaker and replacing a couple of fuses. (Only got 3 pictures that are of no benefit and no signoff was obtained) I offered to pay $400 because the amount they requested wasn't approved and the their answer was that we either pay the full amount or they'd return to the store and uninstall the fuses. Definitely not a company that I would recommend and of course this is our last time we work with such unprofessional money-hungry people.

It was actually perfect. We finally got to the dreaded end of life for both our furnace and air conditioner and right during the busiest time for all companies, midsummer and right after two rounds of very damaging storms. We got a quote from the company we had been using and that quote wasn't necessarily gross outside of reasonable but we felt that with such a high investment we should get at least one more quote. We called Enright, who handled the quote and all of our questions immediately. They were less expensive than our previous quote, had a much better warranty and better financing. They are also clearly competent. The owner, out of mercy on our souls after the storms came to see our broken system first and we didn't hear him at the door and he had to leave. We felt horrible. He is busy! He treated us with such grace. The company is family owned and operated and works around the clock and are very accessible. The installers came right on time, were extremely polite and conscientious the entire time and finished their quality work ahead of time. They were clean, well organized and cheerful. Do not hesitate to use this company. I really don't see how their service can be beat.

Instead of speaking with someone, we were directed to a text system that assured us a technician would get back to us "shortly." More than nine hours later, we still hadn't heard a word. Our son, who has been a homeowner for a few years, recommended we call Zark. I'm so glad he did! When I called, Rob, the owner, said he was just grabbing a cup of coffee and would head over right afterward. True to his word, he arrived quickly. Rob confirmed the issue my husband suspected, replaced the faulty part, and had our air conditioner running again in no time. He also offered us a discount on the repair when we signed up for their routine maintenance plan--which is actually $50 less than what we had been paying the company that installed our system. Rob was honest, responsive, knowledgeable, and fair. It's refreshing to find a business that truly takes care of its customers, especially when you're dealing with an unexpected problem before a holiday weekend. Zark has definitely earned our trust, and they have gained loyal customers. We truly value businesses that stand behind their service and can be counted on when it matters most. Highly recommend!
