Ok this is a special unique restaurant with DELICIOUS Korean food. Found this gem because a fellow Korean told me that Q Cafe is where it's at. You drive to the back side of the Q sauna area and walk through the doors in the back. You take off your shoes and sit amongst everyone else who's dressed in sauna gear enjoying their time at Q Sauna. You are welcome to dine here even if you're not a Q Sauna customer. Food is so good. We had the fried chicken - which is so tender crispy flaky. They give you a ton of high quality side dishes (best I've had in Seattle). The Kalbi tang had nice chunks of short rib, scallions, vermicelli noodles, and a deep broth that soothed the soul. Wife had the tongkatsu (pork katsu) - crispy skin tender pork. Spicy seafood udon is refreshing and gives you a nice kick. Overall this is surprisingly one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Seattle. Ambiance is unique to say the least. You're in a restaurant within a sauna, so you'll be shoeless and dining amongst sauna customers in their sauna outfits. It's kind of funny and peculiar, but also totally fun. It's definitely a very casual ambiance - not for dates, but fun for a laid back cozy family or friends meal. Service is great and attentive. Parking is easy (Q Sauna complex). So this time we went to just the restaurant and no sauna entry. You have to go from the back of Sauna Q and they make you take off your shoes and wear slippers lol The door looks sketch (see pic) but lo and behold when we opened the door all the tables were PACKED in this little tucked away, unassuming cafe. We literally got seated at the last table available. We ordered the ginseng chicken soup and homemade dumplings (pork). I the chicken soup was outstanding. So refreshing, healthy and I loved the sticky rice in it. Would wish that they add a little more sticky rice. Flavor was on point and didn't even need to add the additional salt that they give you on the side. Homemade dumplings were good but they broke on us and just basically fell apart when we were trying to dip it in the sauce. But it was still very tasty. I probably wouldn't order it again but might buy the bulk frozen dumplings which is $30. I can't remember how many pieces they give you. The true star of the show is the ban Chan. Literally this little tiny unassuming cafe had the best banchan! It's run by a Korean family where the server and hostess is the daughter and her mom is the owner and cook! Everything tastes homemade and literally like grandma's cooking. I especially love the zucchini banchan but everything is amazing. So here's the deal with refills: first refill is free. Then it's $7. But actually the $7 is worth it and we did pay for extra ban chan - it equates to $1/dish. And it's soooo worth it. It's literally the best ban Chan ever. And it was so good that we literally ordered the banchan to go which they so kindly did for us. Anyways, 5 stars all around. I've dined in a lot of Korean restaurants and this one seriously by far the best. SO UNASSUMING! You know it's legit when the bus girl and cook hardly speak English. And also the fact that groups of Korean ppl come in through the back door (for the restaurant, not for sauna) and come just to dine here. It's a hidden gem!!! I treated myself to a relaxing birthday at the Korean spa, and after my treatment, I stopped by their cozy in-house Korean Q café--and I'm so glad I did. Michelle and her sister run the most wonderful cafe here. Every dish is delicious. the BanChan is perfect. the Ssamjang is the best I have had in any Korean restaurant in Seattle. Everyone is kind. And also the Pork Belly is so tender and crispy. Every time I come here I leave happy. After a lovely few hours relaxing in Q sauna I was beginning to feel a bit hungry. I decided to take a break and cool down with some food. I was very quickly seated at a table when I entered and handed a menu, and the waitress quickly filled up a mug with tea for me. I looked through the menu, and decided to order the bulgogi and the cinnamon ginger punch. I was immediately given the punch and it was delicious! It was sweet, strong in cinnamon flavor, and really refreshing and cooling. About 10 min later I was served the bulgogi with rice, and 8 sides. Everything tasted great! I ordered the small size which was a good size for me. Definitely a good place to refresh while visiting Q sauna! read more

Wow...this place is amazing, not just as a spa restaurant but just by their service and food quality in general! I've been here twice, both times when I go to the spa. The first time, we got ttobokki which was a little too sweet so I would skip that. This time, we ordered the Boiled Pork Belly and Seaweed Soup, which came with rice and banchan (side dishes). Get both dishes!! The pork belly was so succulent with a slight crispy skin and a perfect dipping sauce to go with it. The seaweed soup had such an umami flavor and was so comforting! Their complimentary tea is also delicious, so try it. After our meal, we always get a bingsoo (snowflake sherbet) - strawberry and mango are my favorites! They offer takeout and have a back door for guests who want to dine without using the spa, but you still need to take off your shoes (they provide slippers) while inside the restaurant. We were craving Korean food after a 7 day Alaska cruise. This restaurant is attached to Q Spa & Sauna. We all got different dishes and it was okay. Not the best we've had but understandable. The portion is huge so can def share a dish with two people. We were pretty disappointed with the seafood pancake since it was so salty which we told the waitress and she waived it at the end. I really enjoy the food here. I have eaten at this restaurant about five times, with my daughter. We are usually getting a scrub and using the many great amenities of the spa. The great: love the hot tea and bachan. Great selection of banchan. Friendly, hard working couple who provide excellent customer service. All the food appears to me made to order, so a slight wait which I do not mind. We have tried the traditional Korean cinnamon punch, which was delicious and nice to warm us up. Deep fried atka makarel was seasoned nicely and came crispy and hot. Boiled pork belly had some excellent flavors to the meat. Handmade dumplings soup was great. There was also a Korean herb chicken soup we tried, that had a whole small chicken in a herby broth. You felt healthy just eating it. Stone pot bimbimbap was really good, nice selection of vegetables and meat. Kalbi ribs had a finger licking good sauce on them .You can buy tea eggs for extra at the counter, jammy and soft. One of favorite things also, they have a variety of magazines to read while in the restaurant. The bad: After soaking in hot water in the spa, going to the sauna, having a scrub and a shower, your hair is wet and you are warm. So you put on the skimpy clothes they provide to be socially acceptable in the restaurant. And entering, you are hit with a blast of cold air from the restaurant that takes all the relaxation from the spa. You go from 70 degrees to 45 suddenly. You shiver and wrap your hands desperately around the hot tea. They keep the back door open to allow the mostly Korean customers access to the restaurant without going to the spa. And being Seattle, the majority of the time the weather is cold. We were in in December and froze from the cold air from the open door. A least half of the customers were from the spa as well, who also appeared cold. Ordered our food, ate quicker than we liked to dash back to the sauna to warm up. Wanted to try the snowflake sherbet. But any cold dish unfortunately will just add to our chilliness. read more

Ordered beef ramen, beef rib soup, kimchi beef stew, mango bingsu, and stone bowl rice. Good meal with one flaw: everything was a bit too salty. The kimchi side dish was insanely salty. The best dish was the non spicy kalbi soup. Bingsu really hit the spot at the end. Not good enough to visit twice but if you are in their q sauna next door this place is your only option. read more

We've been here twice, once for cheese rabokki and once for bingsu, and were pretty impressed both times. In terms of bang for your buck, there are some other places that serve more quantity-wise for the same price or less, but the quality here is great and the service has been consistently very nice and sweet :o) It's also super clean because it's connected to the sauna, so folks in the cafe are just sliding around in their socks. The cheese rabokki was really good and unique to other ones we've had. Instead of imsil or mozzarella, it had (we think) a mexican cheese mix with (we think) parsley flakes (and unfortunately no fish cake or green onion or egg). But it was still really tasty! We also really enjoyed their bingsu, which is made from shaved milk whereas most places around here seem to make the shaved ice variety. There was no condensed milk served with it, but it had plentiful rice cakes and almonds and was plenty sweet on its own. The ladies waiting tables and running around have been very kind and patient, always greeting us as we come and go. Even though it's more expensive than other places serving similar food, the service and environment and quality will definitely have us coming back in the future. read more

Needless to say I felt like a total dork wearing my spa pajamas and wet hair...I ordered the small spicy pork bulgogi that was served on a sizzling hot platter and came with 5 different types of banchan and a hot bowl of rice. I have eaten here several times before and this by far was the freshest most delicious visit. Definitely save your appetite to eat here after you've done your spa visit, it is really good. read more

I had double jaw corrective surgery a week ago and haven't really been able to sleep. My jaw is wired shut and I'm generally in a bit of discomfort. So my husband and I came here to relax and help myself heal so I may sleep a little better and not be so uncomfortable while I'm recuperating plus it got me out of the house and out of bed. The spa itself is great! Great location, service, amenities ect... (I've been on a straight liquid diet and when we go out I mainly ask for soups, broths ect.. I was very hungry when we got to the spa and they have a restaurant there.) However, the resturaunt REFUSED to serve me! I mean.. really?? Their excuse is it would be too hot.. well no shit.. I'm 37 and I don't drink piping hot soup. I put ice in it to cool it down. Treated me like a little kid instead of a grown paying customer. I tried to say I'll take the regular soup how it is but there was NO BUDGE. Not sure if it was because I just wanted broth instead of all the goodies and I told them I would pay full price just didn't want to waste the veggies.. or because i have to drink through a tube. Utter bull crap! I have ALWAYS been accommodated even if i just take the order as is. Maybe i was an embarrassment and they didn't want me eating food in their establishment via a tube or what.
