    Collinwood Cheesesteak

We stopped in for lunch after traveling in the Trace. The Collinwood Cheesesteak was phenomenal, and I highly recommend it! Great service and delicious food.

    Pulled pork nachos

My wife and I drove down to Collinwood, TN today to go have Barbeque at Q Barbecue. I had a pulled pork sandwich, moist brisket, baked beans, and Miss Joy had the Pulled Pork Nachos. The pulled pork was good. The bun was toasted, pork flavorful, the slaw was a little lacking. I didn't have sauce on it as usual. The brisket was very good. Cooked well, and not dry or overcooked. The nachos were fantastic. The beans were OK. Overall it was worth the drive.

Delicious! Husband-wife run. Brisket melted in your mouth and the best smoked chicken I have ever had. Worth a drive and stop!

There aren't many places to stop and eat between Tupelo and Nashville on the trace, but this is a hidden gem.

YALL. THIS IS SOUTHERN FOOD…read more I have grown up in this area, and had this food my whole life. Tastes like granny's cookin' I have since moved to Florida and EVERY TIME I come home to visit, I go here. I have had their Breakfast... YUM. I got normal stuff like eggs and bacon but alSo.. CHOCOLATE GRAVY HOLY MOLY. It's a la carte. Forgot to document that experience. This last time I visited, I made sure to capture the glory. Sunday lunch is unbeatable. It's legit $7 for a plate and $10 all you eat. It's a plate lunch, so you have several pre-made food options. You request it at the counter and watch it be added to your plate. You can get it however you want! It's NOT traditional buffet style, the servers make your plate and the food is protected glass. This makes my inner germaphobe so so happy! The food is all warm and fresh, even though it's already prepared. I told myself I was going all in, but one plate gOt the best of me. I cleaned that bad boy though! Enough room for a meat and 3 sides, then you get a dessert. The servers were all super helpful and sweet. I got an extra serving oF dessert at no charge! THE atmosphere is very "local"y. The cost is stupid cheap!!! I will absolutely go back to this spot over and over

My friend's pancake was cold, butter just sat there, grits cold, at least the eggs were hot. Mine was worse, gravy was cold, hash browns were to be crispy, there were hardly cooked, the sausage was still raw in the middle, at least the eggs were hot. Sent the cold stuff back, gravy came out first, must have popped that in the microwave, hash browns next, still not crisp, I was told that the best she could do, never got the sausage. went to pay for the food, not a sorry, not a comp for anything, not even a thank you for your business. Just here is your change. My friend and I ride motorcycles and were scoping this place out to bring others, guess what, that won't happen

Exploring Florence, we ate lunch at the BBB and thoroughly enjoyed it…read more Right off the bat-- as we walked in I asked my wife if we should ask to sit at the window counter (where we like to sit wherever we go) and the hostess heard me and took us there without asking us-- like she had ESP! And then the waitress was super friendly (like everyone we met in Florence). My wife had the ham po'boy which was grilled like a Cuban sandwich (yay!) and I had the fried shrimp po'boy. Both were excellent. For sides my wife chose a half grapefruit brûléed and I had marinated tomatoes. I remember having sugar on a half grapefruit as a kid, but bruleed? Epic! I loved the big wall in the front dining area-- half of a Cessna airplane on the wall, superimposed on a blueprint painting (see photo). Very creative. We'll be back!
