Food is good. Parmesan fries- well done is a check. Wings- to thick lol Dessert- turtle- wow. Service is great! Ambiance- perfect. Visiting from Cali. and this place is phenomenal. I highly recommend. They have pool table, machines to play & more. Must see your self. Tried liquid MJ drink- I like it. Thank you for the great experienced. Pic's provided below.

Liquid Marijuana And Pub Pretzel

A pretty typical looking sports bar with some fun games. It can get pretty busy at times and service can be really slow even getting out a menu. Q Bar is maybe the only place in Darien to play pool it seems. Has kind of a trashy atmosphere combined with a sports bar. There's only a few beers on tap, some interesting sounding and not too expensive cocktails, plus typical bar food not at all healthy. Came in because there was a game. It was getting kind of crowded but it was mainly just loudness. This really wasn't that busy even on a weekend. Got a seat at the bar. Met some interesting regulars. Had a drink. The Liquid Marijuana sounded fun and funny. It's about $7.75 for a pretty big cup. This is made with Blue Chair Rum, Blue Curaçao, Captain Morgan, melon liqueur, pineapple juice, and sour mix. I know a lot about the other forms of marijuana, but liquid was something else. This has a kind of sweet and sour taste. As for the food I had a Pub Pretzel. It's about $7 for a pretty big one. This comes with cheese but you can get it with mustard too. For sure it's not a classy establishment. It also has a few carnival kinds of games to play. There's these games if there's not a game on TV you happen to be watching.

This is definitely a cute little bar that has TVs to watch games as well as games you can play that you also have to pay for but the pricing is not bad at all very affordable and you can definitely have a good time. Playing some darts or pool, basketball, beer pong, and many more actually. They also have Jukebox you can select the music. Honestly my server wasn't the best I didn't enjoy her service she seemed to have attitude and seemed she was annoyed of us not sure why when we tipped and took care of her but it's whatever I still enjoyed everything anyways. We went on Friday, June 24 and it wasn't packed at all it was nice and open.

You know I heard about this bar and was really excited because they are known for having many game options including indoor bags. Ordered a Long Island, first, they only used one bottle of liquor and so much coke... one of the worst I've had. Finally started playing the games, started with beer pong.. wow the balls were so light could barley reach the other side of the table, also the cups were all different sizes. Tried to play some bags...wow the boards were so slippery none of the bags actually stayed on the board. To be known for games but to have such low quality equipment is very disappointing. Got hungry struggled figuring out what to order, I ended up going with the chicken quesadillas came with salsa and sour cream. The chicken itself was good but the salsa had no flavor and the sour cream was in a packet. This bar has potential but overall lacks a lot.

Fun as heck. Food is insane. But if you are there on a weekday/night, you will see the old man doing laps around the bar.

Lively & clean atmosphere! More than pleasant staff who take the time to learn your random drink…read morerequests, even on the busiest nights! Extremely reasonable portions. Lots of happenings on a weekly basis - open mic nights, scheduled performances, trivia, etc. Come early in order to snag a seat, or expect to be dancing! Also very involved + supporting of the local outings such as Cruisin' Nights/ Pub Crawls!

In efforts get a trivia group going consistently, I've started going to Johnny's a few weeks back…read more It's still early days, but my experience thus far has been really good. The place is small and divey, but I think the $9 draft tag prevents it from actually being a dive bar. I do like the atmosphere. There's a small stage for musicians to perform and a kitchen that closes around 8pm during weekdays. Trivia night is on Wednesdays starting 7pm. Both times, I arrived little past 6pm and I seem to be one of the first ones there. The trivia crowd starts rolling in right around 7pm. Definitely get the sense that Wednesday night crowd is only there for trivia. Joe, who was there both times have been good to me. Can't say he's the most friendly person in the world, but he's one of those people who sorta grow on you the more you talk to him. Not sure if he's the owner or just the manager, but when I told him that I was in for the trivia and that it was my first time, he was super chill to explain the schticks. He also recognized me the second time around and was even more friendly than the first time. Steve, the host of the trivia was also a cool kat. I could immediately tell that 6-or-so teams that were there for trivia were all regulars and that my group was the newcomers. Steve definitely acknowledged that we were new and was super attentive and cool towards our group. I definitely appreciated that. Second time I was there, which was a few weeks later, he still remembered me and made small talks. Sign of a good trivia host, if you ask me. As mentioned before, I think the drinks are on a steeper side. This may be because the trivia I used to go back in Toledo had $5 - $6 beers on tab and that I'm not accounting for inflation and or the city taxes. But still, a tiny resentment over paying twice as much for same number of beers exists for me. Truth of the matter is that I'm still having a good time kickin' it with friend-lleagues, so the beer tag probably won't bug me as much. Still yet to get a crowd more than 3 of us going, but I'm slowly working my way up. I like the vibes, the trivia and its host, and their food--though not cheap.
