A good reason for coming is because it's a cheap ass bar. It's about $5 for a basic cocktail. There's also of course the Bloody Marys. Be aware these are made from a mix, so it's not like these are any special kind of recipe or anything. These taste like it's a mix. Also there's free popcorn, which is the only food. There's entertainment including a pool table but not a lot. Good cheap cocktails. It's the best that can be said about it. There's not really any food but maybe they have popcorn or you can bring in something.

For first-timers it might be hard trying to find the speakeasy since at first I thought you had to access it from the Busy Street and walk up three flights of stairs. Actually you just walk inside of the Embers building, find the elevator that's kind of hidden and take it to the Third floor. I thought that the little trip up felt exclusive already. Once you're at the third floor you are treated to a beautiful array of scenery. Exit to your left and you were treated to the bar and some great tables with a cozy, intimate setting. I'm not sure if it was open seating since there was a little podium right off the elevator so we just sat ourselves. Some speakeasies require a certain dress code to keep up with the times. This one thankfully was casual though many people dressed business casual. We actually loved how the staff dressed as well. I have to try their Japanese sex drink and I absolutely loved every ship that I took. The drinks are fairly price. They did have a food menu but it was mainly snacks and small plates that were a bit overpriced. If we're having a large Gathering they have a big private room next door. This place does have a lot of great events going on as well with their upcoming Valentine's Day event that looks really interesting. It does get pretty busy as well after 7:00 p.m. from our experience. Overall, I was excited and enjoyed our visit coming to the 933 speakeasy!

This place is an absolute joke!! Stella is a waste of time and energy herself! Complete drunk ass that her bartender serve her before she served the patrons! Agrees to let one of her regular patrons host a benefit at her establishment, but tries to run the benefit by making demands on how much raffle tickets will be sold for. States to the girl who the benefit is for that she will have food to serve. Started out she was going to have sub sandwiches. The night before the benefit she decided that they would just order pizza (probably cuz she was too wasted to actually order the sub sandwiches). The day of the benefit decided she wasn't having food at all. We pulled together and got our own food as having food was advertised in the event invite. Stella then started complaining about having the food in her establishment. This benefit brought in more money from 2 - 7 than any other Sunday since she's been open and all she could was complain. Was even over heard telling one person not to bother donating! I repeat Stella herself is a mean selfish angry drunk that treats her staff like shit and her establishment is just a joke! Didn't even have cold beer unless you bought it on tap. The bartender was super nice and kept up with the demands of people. read more

My friends and I were home for Thanksgiving and decided to go out on Saturday night. The place was packed, but the bartender was seriously amazing and kept checking on us. It definitely has that dive-bar look, but honestly the vibe was super cool. We ordered a couple mixed drinks and hung out at the bar. A few guys came over (as usual lol), but no one was creepy or annoying, which was a huge plus. It actually felt like a good spot to be on a Saturday night. There were plenty of other girls there too, so we were way more comfortable. I kinda wish they had some food to snack on, but it wasn't a big deal. The music was solid the whole time we were there. I began being a patron of Stella's after a friendly referral. I checked it out and what they say is true. Come in as a customer and leave as a friend. People from all walks frequent Stella's and there is no divide. Everyone has a great time, have a few drinks, sing along with the juke box or live band. & the back deck is a great place to chill & watch the sunset. & you'll find no better bombs in Will County!!!!! It has fries and stuff yes but some actual meals. There's also some drink specials. It's about $5 for most beers on tap, and the specials are even cheaper. We shared a basket of fries. It's about $3 for appetizers. The entrees are kind of meaty, with items such as tenderloin. If you like that kind of stuff, for sure it looked pretty good. That being said, it has a few healthier items like salads. Got to say this beats the expectations for a bar out in the middle of nowhere most people would choose to be in. It has a pretty clean atmosphere and the staff is attentive and friendly to most. There's lots of daily specials on things like buckets of domestics, and the food is okay enough and not just fried things.
