Of course that's not always a good thing however. They seem to be best known for Bloody Marys because it's mentioned in almost all the other reviews. A good reason for coming is because it's a cheap ass bar. It's about $5 for a basic cocktail. There's also of course the Bloody Marys. Be aware these are made from a mix, so it's not like these are any special kind of recipe or anything. These taste like it's a mix. Also there's free popcorn, which is the only food. There's entertainment including a pool table but not a lot. Good cheap cocktails. It's the best that can be said about it. There's not really any food but maybe they have popcorn or you can bring in something.

Plenty of regulars come here. It was bingo night and they had a little shop here on the other side. Drinks were fairly priced, didn't have anything too extraordinary. Clean establishment as well and friendly service. Overall, casual establishment worth checking out.

Always has a game on a TV and pretty quiet sometimes which isn't a bad thing because you can actually just hang out. The prices are pretty good too. It has some pretty cheap prices on drinks and food. Most wells are really cheap and have a very nice pour. They seem to be generous most times. It's about 2 for a pour. The need for drinking should accompany the need for eating something. It doesn't have much in the way of food. They have some varieties of pretzels. It's $1 for a container full of some. Games here also include slots if you're into playing with your money. It sometimes has good odds. They have had quite a few winners.

It's right along the river with a nice view and it's in the Heart of the City where you can see it all. This place is truly in the shape of a garage. This place was dog friendly too. Great selection of drinks and they even have non-alcoholic drinks as well. Prices on all the drinks were fair too. The bar features darts, a jukebox and a few other games. I will say the one drawback about this bar can be on this busy nights is the lines for the restroom. They are single star restrooms and the line for the men's restroom can back up we might just take a chances going to the women's restroom instead. Just because there is no line for the women's restroom on my visit but the line to get to the men's restroom was over a 10 minute wait.

Bobby's Tap has a simple but still pretty great variety of beers and liquors to choose from. For sure there won't be anything exotic so it's not fancy and overpriced. The staff and the regular customers seem okay and respectful. Basic looking bar. It's a little free standing building between a crummy looking motel and a Mexican supermarket. That sounds like a sketchy area, but the bar is clean, and there was nothing crazy going on in there. Basic beers to choose from. They have most in bottles and cans, of course with a few more on tap. It's about $5 to get Jameson. Pretty good prices. Also free popcorn, along with whatever they bring in. The bar only has an inside, so there isn't a patio. For sure it's a better bar than it looks. It's located in a pretty boring area on Plainfield Road. They only have free popcorn for food but you can bring in stuff.

Basically this is like a backwoods clique. They won't serve you if they don't know you. I came in with the girl. On the weekend it was pretty busy which should have been a very good sign. Too bad that sign was that there's just nowhere else in town to go besides this. Bad service, and more like no service to be accurate. We seriously sat at the bar like 20 minutes and no one said a word to us. Finally we got a beer. It's $2 for most bottles. That's why this gets the two stars, for prices. Bathrooms are also pretty clean. It also is a Cubs bar for some reason so go here if you're a fan. This is also good if you actually know anyone here so then you might actually get served.
