That sounds like a sketchy area, but the bar is clean, and there was nothing crazy going on in there. Basic beers to choose from. They have most in bottles and cans, of course with a few more on tap. It's about $5 to get Jameson. Pretty good prices. Also free popcorn, along with whatever they bring in. The bar only has an inside, so there isn't a patio. For sure it's a better bar than it looks. On Friday we arrived right at 9:00 AM, when they opened. Beth was also the bartender that morning. I noticed a large jar behind the bar filled with Tito's vodka and a serious amount of peppers. My immediate thought was that it would make a great base for a morning Bloody Mary, and I was absolutely right. After ordering a couple drinks, we both ordered the biscuits and gravy, which also came with scrambled eggs and bacon. The gravy was very tasty and not overly spiced. The bacon was crispy, and the eggs were fluffy and served hot. By the time we were ready to leave, Beth had a full house, yet she handled everything perfectly. I forgot to take pictures the day before of the corned beef and Reuben sandwiches, but both were excellent. The great staff, friendly crowd, good food, and reasonably priced drinks make this a place we'll want to visit again and again.
