Friendly old school bar that was hosted by a welcoming, gregarious, & professional mixologist. Enjoyed the diverse clientele.

The atmosphere is pleasant, with background music. The building has old charm, but at the same time seemed new and fresh. We started with fried calamari, which V said was the best he had in a while. I suspect it should have been taken out of the fryer a few seconds sooner, as I detected a hint that the breading was slightly burnt. I ordered a chopped salad with grilled chicken. It was quite tasty and had generous portions of blue cheese and bacon, yummy. V had a Lamb Chop which came with mashed potatoes. He enjoyed his meal, it the lamb was cooked well done, just like he ordered. We shared a slice of Blueberry Cheesecake, and it was the perfect finish to the meal. We would definitely come back again, from hospitality, to atmospher and food, it's a very good experience.

The service went above and beyond to accommodate my husband's dietary needs and they were very attentive. The food was delicious and my chicken was cooked perfectly and so well seasoned. Ribeye steak was definitely "meh". Not worth $38.00 But the crispy brussel sprouts were amazing. Best I've ever had.

I always can smell it when passing by on I-80! It's tucked away, but still gets good business. Our server was nice and attentive. We got our food quickly and everything tasted good. I looked over the menu and I was in a chicken mood but didn't order their wings. I chose the Hilltopper, a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese. For some reason it comes on Texas toast while nearly all other sandwiches come on ciabatta or brioche. I switched to brioche. I chose the fresh cut fries as a side dish. When the sandwich comes out, I'm immediately questioning if I ordered the right dish. I wasn't impressed. There are no condiments and no LTO either, just chicken bacon, cheese and pickles, on a dry bun. The fries were clearly not fresh cut, as they looked to be similar to Wendy's. The taste of the sandwich is OK, mainly because of the cajun spices. While my colleagues enjoyed their food, selection is sort of limited here if you're avoiding fried foods, otherwise I would have selected the wings which they're sort of famous for.
