The morning of the start of the project, Alex came to go over the project with my husband to make sure they were both understanding of the work that was to be done. My husband was concerned about a drain pipe next to where the cement would be poured, and was worried about it being damaged during the dirt removal. After the dirt was removed, Alex ran water down the drain to show us that the pipe was undamaged. He listened to my husband and made sure to pour the cement a couple inches from the drain pipe, so there was no chance of any damage. Alex was also very flexible with scheduling. He was able to reschedule the cement pour day on short notice, so that my husband would be home on that day. Alex and his crew arrived on time, which I appreciate. I've had a lot of work done in the past, and it always upsets me when contractors are late. At the end of each workday, the crew cleaned meticulously to ensure the work area was clear of dirt and debris. Alex and his crew were always respectful of our property. The price was very reasonable, and I had received more than 8 bids. Alex is honest, a good communicator, and his crew are hardworking and punctual. I'd highly recommend giving Alex a call.

Poured my concrete earlier this year and did a pretty crappy job. I had cracks all over the next day, they left a mess in my yard, did not clen up forms until the following week. the only reason he came back was because i kept calling him. They damaged my water line and tried to sneak repair it using incorrect fittings. the only reason they changed them was because i caught them being shady. They damaged my gate and also did not say anything until i pointed it out. Worse part is the repair they did failed and caused a leak which i let him know about and no response he ignored my messages as always. DO NOT DO Business with this guys you will regret it.

Now I have 65 feet along my wall where the dirt was removed that needs to be filled in and a huge 5 ft pile of dirt in my back yard. I contacted John Folk of J3 Masonry and at first he told me his guys made a mistake and didn't fill in the dirt before my garage was installed and now he would have to rent a small equipment that would fit on the side of my house. He told me he would have someone out here "this week" and if not then on the following Monday. Well two weeks went by no one showed up. I called again and he was like "oh I forgot all about that" I'll get someone out there. Again no one showed. I called again and this time he was like "what job is this for?" He said text me your number and I will call with a date. Yep, never called.
