We came here around noon to grab some small bites. The whole place was set up like Pym laboratory, it was so cool. Even the menu items had had funky names like not so little chicken sandwich and neutron nachos. We ordered the subatomic chicken sandwich and buttered noodles from the kids' menu. Prices were very decent for the combo items they came with. Service was fast. We got the food on the spot. All indoor tables were taken, so we sat in the outdoor section. We liked the chicken sandwich and the pasta. The yogurt with popping boba was good too.
This restaurant inside of the Avenger's campus is one of the best quick service places in the park. It's a "test kitchen" and the theme is so fun. While you wait in line to order you can watch the shrinking and enlarging of food up above. Once you order, they'll send you to one of the pick up windows and the food comes out pretty quick. You can also mobile order ahead of time. One of the popular items here is the Quantum Pretzel ($14.49). It's a huge Bavarian pretzel that's great for sharing. The pretzel is soft and comes with a beer cheese dipping sauce. It's better than a Mickey pretzel in my opinion. I tried the seasonal Strawberry Matcha Latte ($7.99) recently and it didn't have a strong matcha flavor but it was better than expected. I also tried the BBQ Pork Muenster Grilled Cheese ($16.79). The way they made it look like a monster was so cute. The pork was a little fatty but overall a good sandwich. The jalapeño slaw that came on the side was spicy but if you put some inside the sandwich it takes it up a level. The side of tots were also really good. There is no inside seating here but they do have a spacious patio with shade. This is also one of the few places in the park that has self-service freestyle Coca Cola machines.
We had the strawberry matcha alcohol drink and oh my goshhhhh was it good! It was a perfect blend of matcha, sweet strawberry, and rum. Plus they put strawberry wafers on top. Service was great! They were so kind! There is outdoor seating in the shade, which is nice. They also have the soda machines where you can pick the soda and flavors, which is a huge plus! It's also air conditioned inside, which is heaven on a hot day! Yeah it's expensive, but worth it as a treat in my opinion!
I found this gem on Instagram before I came into Disney California Adventure. I came for 2 specific items. I ordered on the app. Super easy, you show up at the pick up line and wait until they text you that they are ready. The place was a bit of a zoo today. The utensils are hard to find. They serve the food on a tray. There were no seats available and they're all outside. I had to sit at a table at the Avengers campus and find a place to deposit my tray afterwards. The not so little chicken sandwich was a 10/10! Big, crispy and juicy it was fire. My family had to eat my sandwich because it was that good. It came with tater tots which were ok. The choco mash was an Instagram recommend. It tastes like the bigger version of Snickers. 10/10 very good! You can share it as it was big!
Honestly one of my go to stops for the cookies and cream cold brew and their interesting concepts! The staff are very efficient! They accept magic key discounts So far I've enjoyed all the dishes I have enjoyed I really love seeing the pretzels get big and small in the waiting area!
We went to California Adventure with family and decided to try the PYM Test Kitchen which turned out to be such a fun spot! The food is creative and tasty. I was happy we were able to use our Magic Key Pass for a discount. The oversized portions and playful presentation make it a great stop for a quick bite while exploring the park. It was worth trying for a fun and unique Disney dining experience! We don't usually do breakfast at the park but I can't wait to go back to try other foods at the test kitchen. I recommend the PYM Test Kitchen for a nice bite to eat.
Came to Disneyland back in the spring for my kids birthday. Got to visit the Marvel campus and it did not disappoint. Had lunch at the Pym Test Kitchen. Enjoyed the Not So Little Chicken sandwich and potato bites. I enjoyed the fact that a heavily themed restaurant made sure the food was high quality. There were Ant-Man themed items all over the place with kept me and my son's attention while we waited in line to order. The amount of work put into the design of the restaurant was truly amazing. My family and I hope to visit this place again, but next time early enough to try the breakfast.
The menu changes every few months. However, giant pretzel and chocolate bar are permanent items. I actually like my giant taco salad and the chicken was pretty spicy

Despite its impressive size, the taco never felt overly heavy, making it enjoyable from start to finish. Pym Test Kitchen delivers a memorable dining experience that fits seamlessly into the immersive atmosphere of Avengers Campus. Between its creative menu, well-executed dishes, and hearty portions, it's a restaurant that's well worth a visit.
3.5 stars: Came specifically to try the Halloween special: BBQ Pork Muenster Grilled Cheese. It was a good and filling sandwich, but there is a lot of BBQ sauce, and it really competes with the pork. The jalapeño slaw was a great addition to the sandwich. You can try to stick it in the sandwich for another layer of flavor. Presentation is 10/10! So fun and cute! As we love that Pyms continues to offer the tater tots!
The not so little chicken sandwich is just that LITTLE! When I questioned the staff they were less than helpful. Iami and Joce were rude and un accommodating and I feel like I wasted my money here. This is one of my favorite spots to eat at California Adventure park. It's located at avengers campus. You can order through mobile as app or in person. They're known for their food to come in big sizes. Their large pretzel was huge and it's definitely shareable for 4 people. Their taco salad is super refreshing and stacked with chicken and veggies. The fresh ingredients pair well with the crispy shell. Their nachos were so delicious. It's not your traditional nachos with several tortilla chips but it comes with 4 big pieces and it's packed on top. Their pasta is my favorite. It has a hint of spice to it. They have self serve drinks, utensils, and condiments. Theres a good amount of tables outside and I haven't had an issue with getting a table even during lunch rush.
1) Cookies & Cream Cold Brew 6.5/10 2) Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese 8.2/10 I want to start off by saying I'm not really into cold brew. It definitely wasn't bad. I did finish it, it's just not my usual go-to-drink but definitely not terrible. If you like cold brew, it's definitely one of the better tasting cold brews I've had. The Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese was good. I could have done without the garnishes on top, but it was fun and added a pop of color and texture. The tators were ok - not bad, but not very memorable either. Average. I enjoyed the grilled cheese more than I thought I would and that's probably why my rating is so high. Lol. I liked it and thought it was good, but I also wasn't expecting much.

I enjoyed my visit to Pym Test Kitchen. The ordering system was easy, my food was ready quickly, and I believe I got a great bang for my buck. I quickly stopped inside of Pym Test Kitchen during my visit to Disneyland because I was craving a soft pretzel. I only ordered the Quantum Pretzel so I can't speak much about what they have to offer, but I was very happy with what I got. The pretzel is HUGE - bigger than the average human head - and it fed a family of four. And yes, it is as delicious as it is big. Moreover, it is not pricey at all, and keeping amusement park prices in mind, I definitely believe it is worth the money. I also love the location of Pym Test Kitchen. There's a nice seating area right outside the restaurant, and since this restaurant is in the middle of the Avengers campus - you can sit and watch the action while munching on the pretzel of your dreams. Overall, I would definitely stop by again for a pretzel or two. Also, I'm looking forward to trying the drinks at the Pym Tasting Lab, they look phenomenal! read more
Heard mixed reviews about this spot but have been wanting to try it for a while. I have to say they did not disappoint - their taco salad is absolutely humongous, but it's still a pretty light and healthy option despite the size. Plus, who doesn't love to eat the shell? The Reactor Melt is also a nice comfort option - it's a good sized grilled cheese sandwich with tomato; it comes with tater tots that I really enjoyed. There's a good amount of seating at this spot, and it's right in the heart of Avengers Campus so you get to take in all the sights & sounds. read more

One of the better food options at DCA! My husband and I struggle with finding decent food to eat at DL & DCA and Pyms currently takes the lead! We tried: Experiment 7290: Cookies & Cream Cold Brew -it was a bit sweet & wish it had more coffee flavor. I think the chocolate cookie did overpower the coffee a bit Pepper Particle Pasta -it bit spicy for kids because of the spicy tomato but overall, I'll probably get this again. Humongous Taco Salad -reminds of a tostada. Feels like a Cesar salad in a crispy taco shell Reactor Melt Garlic Pesto Toasted Sourdough with Mozzarella, Basil and Tomato served with Potato Bites -tastes like a larger pizza in a sandwich form There's plenty of seating outside and service is definitely on Disney standards. Everyone is quick to clear tables and friendly. I highly recommend ordering through the mobile app because lines can be long. read more
The giant pretzel was pretty good but the amount of cheese super small. For even a small dip for each bite you'd need about 2.5 ramekins of the cheese. The taco salad was pretty good, but the taco shell tasted off, it didn't taste like corn or flour. read more

I have always seen photos of the chicken sandwich here, so I had to try it. Note that the alcohol line is separate from the food line; so while we got drinks, I made an online order at Pym Test Kitchen for the Not So Little Chicken Sandwich ($15.49). The concept of this place is pretty cool with the decor of the regular size-pretzels becoming enlarged. Honestly, I kind of wish we got the Quantum Pretzel instead, but we already had a pretzel for the day. Anyways, the order didn't take long and we found some seats outside. The sandwich is made with a mini bun, so that the chicken cutlet looks huge. I felt a little decieved because I thought the chicken was going to be even bigger. It actually made it a bit difficult to eat because you're barely holding onto the sandwich by the buns as you're only biting into fried chicken. I did enjoy the tater tots though, which were nice and crispy. Overall, decent good and cool concept, but nothing that stood out. You're better off getting a regular chicken sandwich. read more
Love the creativity! Love the concept! Love this quick serve! We used the mobile order but you can walk in too. Vegan options!!! I ordered the Impossible meatball meal. My only but major complaint was my entire meal was cold. I would have returned it for a warm one but I just ran the Disneyland Half and I would have eaten anything that ended up in front of me at that moment. Ha! My companion ordered the gianormous chicken sandwich and it delivered. It was huge and delicious. Win. We also ordered the cake and holee smokes it was the best Disney dessert ever. Double win. Some downside is there is limited seating and people are sitting at seats not eating. Cast members should help move them off so eating guests can use the tables. Also, when we did find a table I had to clean it myself. The decor and ambiance is adorable. We loved it and I would most def return. read more

We always love the food and drink here as is is unique and flavorful, not something you would expect in a theme park! One of the best eating options in California adventure park! Their menu is so fun- especially for kids. A favorite is the make your own pb&j (which includes a side of yogurt with popping boba and blue swirled toast) and the fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich has a German cutlet sized piece of fried chicken with the smallest bun imaginable! The pym particle pretzel is a favorite as well. Recently, they offered a chicken salad in a giant fried flour tortilla shaped like a taco! Holy cow, it was good. But more than that, the photo ops for all these unique foods is the best! They offer mobile ordering. The seating is limited and it is always difficult to find seating here. Pro tip, take your food over to the seating between guardians and the theater. It's usually less crowded. read more

Great food that stands up to Disney's standards. Although they have a mobile ordering option, we got in line and ordered. It was laater in the evening so the line wasn't bad at all. The kids got the PB&J Flavor Lab - super cute! You assemble your own experiment with peanut butter, strawberry Jelly and bread, served with a mandarin orange, yogurt and choice of milk or botted water. Quantum Pretzel bavarian-style, with sharp cheddar cheese-beer sauce was really good! Impossible™ Spoonful was a good plant-based option too. Love Disney! While in DCA, take a moment to grab some munchies and drinks from the Pym Test Kitchen. They have an assortment of fun cocktails, beer, and some out of the ordinary food concepts to choose from. The surroundings give off that test kitchen lab vibe, and the layout of the restaurant is pretty cool. I actually loved the taste of the "not so little chicken sandwich." It was very reminiscent of a chicken katsu, if you've ever had that. I didn't get to try the cocktails but definitely will on the next trip out. read more

Pym Test Kitchen has some of the coolest Ant-Man themed décor in Avengers Campus, with oversized soda cans, ketchup bottles, and a playful queue that makes the wait feel a little less painful. We waited about 30 minutes around 11am on a Saturday, which wasn't too bad, but the food didn't live up to the look. The "shrunk" eggs were adorable, but everything tasted bland and my whole family agreed it was disappointing. If you are really hungry and happen to be near Guardians of the Galaxy, it's fine in a pinch, just be sure to mobile order so you don't waste more time waiting. read more
First of all: make sure you read ALL THE DETAILS when you order. We ordered the meatless spaghetti & impossible "meat"balls for my kids and didn't read that the yogurt with the meal was plant-based and it was awful. Truly inedible. The CM was so sweet and swapped it out with their other yogurt, thankfully. But the kids meals really do need some work. The "meat"balls were so loose they fell apart right away. The texture was not there. And my not at all picky daughter wouldn't eat her PB&J because it "tasted weird" so I tried it and it definitely tasted bad! So Pym Test Kitchen: WORK ON YOUR KIDS MEALS. They're not great. Or at least the 2 types we ordered were not good. Now onto the best parts!!! The vibe is immaculate at Pym Test Kitchen! It's right inside the Avengers Campus and we could see so much from where we sat. There is ample seating AND you can get your own refills. That's a huge win for me. Normally I loathe the coke machines where you can get any flavor combination because every drink tastes mixed but man, they must maintain this one well because my coke tasted great. We got the huge pretzel and the beer cheese stole the show. Soooo good! All 5 of us love it and over the course of our trip ordered 3 of them. My chicken sandwich was PERFECTION. Made so well and the flavors of the slaw & sauces on top were delicious. We came back the next night and I got the same thing. My husband tried the wings the first night and was happy with it but he said the Turkey wing tasted odd with Buffalo sauce since the meat is just so different from chicken. The next night he got the pulled pork pretzel and seemed so happy with it. Overall: LOVE this place so much. The adult entrees are unique and made so well. The kids meals really need work! read more

The wait to get your food is long even when they're not busy, but the food itself is was pretty good for being "fast food" Disney food. There was plenty of space to sit (only outdoors) & conveniently super close to the restrooms. We got the taco salad and the pesto melt. The taco salad I feel like the portions inside of the taco shell should have been bigger and the melt was delicious but was missing something to dip it in like sauce or a soup. I also recommend adding bacon to the melt, although it's like an extra $3. Would NOT recommend eating here when at Disney California Adventure. Especially for what it was worth. Sorry not sorry... Quantum Pretzel: It was alright. Pretzel was a little hard to bite. You really have the drench it with cheese for it to taste better. Sort of wished the vegetables had a little more flavor. Some of the chilies were spicy to which I liked. PB^3 Superb Sandwich: This was such a peculiar meal to even want to try. I'm a big fan of Peanut Butter and Jelly so of course I had to order it. It was something I was definitely not expecting. The sandwich was lowkey disgusting, but my mouth still wanted to finish every last bite. Didn't know if I was suppose to dip the sandwich in the lil banana smoothie or to drink it, so, I did a little bit of both. I don't know... maybe it was the candied bacon in there that sort of made me not like it. read more
This is one of my go to places for food in the park! No matter what time, all the meals they serve here are super worth your money. For breakfast, I've tried everything on the menu and every single thing is good. Howww cute is that little egg too!!! For later in the day, I love their impossible spoonful even as a non vegetarian. Interesting items to check out. Definite must is the cookies and cream cold brew. Although I do enjoy the black caf cold brew (seems to be everyone's favorite), I'd say this one's even better. Perfect drink to mobile order before waiting in line for guardians. There's a lot of other things I'll be back to try like the choco smash cake, not so little chicken sandwich and reactor melt. The quantum pretzel was a good deal for its size. I was able to ask for a box and take it to go. Mobile order was quick, easy and convenient. Good amount of tables available. Great theme/concept. This is in the DCA park and my little one loves coming here for breakfast. . He loves how big the French Toast is. So definitely come for the experience and especially if you have kids. This is perfect to share. We also ordered the cookies and cream cold brew. Too sweet for me. But my husband loved it. My husband typically doesn't eat breakfast. So while he enjoyed the coffee. My son and I enjoyed the food. You can order on your Disney app for faster service but we just got inline and ordered and got to pick up our food within 10 minutes if that. read more

Not so little chicken sandwich- tried my friend's sandwich, seemed juicy. Came w cole slaw which I didn't care about. Overall meh, fun food but not worth. PB3- the bread was a little stale, came w PB&J and candied bacon which was really good! Tater tots were very good. Banana milkshake- was a small little shot of milkshake. If you like really small and really big food items in weird proportions on your plate, Pym Test Kitchen is great! Infrequent themed dining is worth the extra cash you pay, in my honest opinion. I had these menu items: Calculated Breakfast = E x 2 + (B+P)/T Cinna-Pym Toast 2.0 Celestial-sized Candy Bar: Choco-Smash CANDY Bar Nitro Cold Brew Coffee I really only liked the Calculated Breakfast and the Nitro Cold Brew Coffee. Everything else was just alright. I do recommend having breakfast here, after you ride (maybe you're rope-dropping) Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT. How dare you DCA serve me possibly the worst quality cold dry scrambled eggs, dry foccacia toast with some ridiculous quail egg. The bacon was an absolute atrocity in itself flimsily thin and cold. The tater tots were the only saving grave still semi crispy and barely warm but i freakin hate how disney loves them tater tots at many of their restaurants but sadly it's their only consistent thing they can do. There were only a few people eating here and it wasnt busy. Shame on the eggs and bacon hard pass dont come here unless you want the saddest breakfast in the entire park. Side note their workers are exceptionally friendly and attentive always cleaning. Maybe focus on your food please. read more
Delicious vegan breakfast! Two impossible sausage patties, a vegan folded egg, tater tots, and focaccia split in half to make a sandwich. The tater tots were perfectly fried so they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The focaccia was nicely toasted. Everything was really tasty. read more
Tried a few things here and the most notable item is hands down the quantum pretzel, not only is the pretzel good with the beer cheese but it's also a lot of food for only $12.99, $12.99 doesn't get you much in a lot of other places in Disney so this one is worth it if you want something tasty and filling all at once. The Pym-Ini Sandwich is not good at $14.69 and the Bigger than Buffalo Turkey Leg is another pass in my book at $16.49 The inside of Pyms Tesr Kitchen since you can see the Quantom Pretzel "grow" right before your eyes. read more

My friend and I decided to stop here for a quick snack before going on the Spider Man ride next door! The inside is super cool. The servers even wear lab coats to fit the theme. We shared the Quantum Pretzel, which is a GIANT pretzel served with beer cheese. The outside coating was pretty much identical to the Mickey pretzel that is served in the parks. The dough was sooo soft and warm. It tasted like it was freshly made. Because of the soft inside, I actually liked it better than the Mickey pretzel! It really is gigantic though, so I definitely recommend sharing between 2-3 people. Only reason I give it 4 starts is because of the beer cheese! The cheese was a bit grainy. It tasted like real cheese but honestly just prefer the cheese that is served in the parks. I liked dipping the pretzel in mustard the best. read more
Fun place for breakfast with several choices, including a traditional style American breakfast with the Pym's twist. We ordered that and the French Toast. Starting with the French toast, it's huge, like the entire length of the base of a loaf of bread. The maple syrup was accompanied by the tiniest blueberries, and it came with bacon. Next up is the American breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, bacon, tater tots, and a tiny (quail?) egg on a sliver of focaccia. It was all very tasty, and a big portion. The small egg and focaccia was very whimsical. Service at Disney is a little confusing, but once you experience it, it's a little bit easier in the rest of the counter service restaurants. So, you order at one register and take your slip up to the counter at the number area that they tell you to wait at. And then you will hand your receipt to the attendant at pick up and she will assemble your order and call out your number when it's ready. One nice perk is that you can refill your water bottle for at no charge at any of the fancy Coca-Cola machines . read more
Pym did not disappoint. We loved it so much that we started with lunch here the returned for the drinks. We ordered through the Disney app (which is always the best bet) and our food was ready so quick! I got the sandwich with ham/cheese and marinara sauce it was such a perfect lunch! I always feel like Disneyland food is too much for lunch but this was delicious and fresh! We saw all the fun drinks for lunch and came back later for the espresso martinis and omg those did not disappoint and were very boozy!!! Love this place and would love to try more drinks read more

Just off the entrance, it's a great spot to grab an ice cold drink or even a meal. They serve Starbucks and prices are surprisingly reasonable. There's tons of seating and the AC is always on full blast. Service is quick! You can wait in line or order ahead via the Disney App. Been coming here for years and was surprised that I've never left a review. Be back soon. read more

I tried the Cookies & Cream Cold Brew at Pym Test Kitchen during my birthday trip to DCA in November 2024. It was super cute and definitely one of the more unique drinks in the park. The cold brew had a nice chocolatey flavor, and the sweet cream with the Oreo on top made it feel like a dessert and coffee in one. That said, it leaned a little on the sweet side for me, so I probably wouldn't grab it every time, but I'm still glad I tried it. Fun, refreshing, and definitely Instagram-worthy. If you like sweeter coffee drinks, you'll probably love it! read more
Im giving three stars but I've only had their breakfast. Honestly, their pretzel and chicken sandwich for lunch look fire. The cinna-pym toast was not bad. Just very bready (to be expected) and sweet. The plant based quantum garden breakfast was so very meh. Tasted like college dining hall food. However, the tater tots were great!! Hard to mess those up. WHATEVER YOU DO! Don't get their nitro cold brew. I love black coffee but this stuff was Nasty™. Save yourself and get the cold brew matcha from the cappuccino cart, or go to Disneyland for the cold brew black caf in Star Wars land. Lots of seating but none indoors.
