My only regret is that I didn't try more donuts! Came here for the first time and tried a plain glazed (my safe pick) and the frosted cinnamon bun (my wild card). The frosted cinnamon was really good! The staff was friendly. I appreciated the outside seating. It was decorated nicely, full on donut shop vibes with the donut artwork. I would visit again!
Delicious donuts! They were fluffy and delicious even without the toppings. The toppings added some extra flavors and fun to each bite! We pre-ordered the night before and they were ready promptly for pickup the next morning! The store inside is cute too!
It was my first time in Providence, and PVDonuts was one of the only must-visit spots for me. For us, it absolutely lived up to the hype. 5/5 Chocolate covered strawberries -- loved the crisp exterior with the moist interior of this old fashioned donut dough! I also really enjoyed the fresh strawberry flavor. Definitely on the sweeter side. 4/5 Tiramisu -- would say this is a good "not too sweet option" for those looking for those kinds of desserts! The brioche dough by itself as quite a salty bite to it, complemented with the mascarpone cream topping. I wish it had more coffee notes to resemble more of espresso dipped ladyfingers in tiramisu. The brioche texture kept the donut soft even the next day! These both traveled great in the box on the train with me to NYC! I would recommend going earlier or pre-ordering if you know you are visiting for sure as I noticed on their IG page they were sold out by 1pm on the day I visited.
Excellent experience here!! Went at around 12:30pm on a Saturday and was worried they'd be out of some flavors, but they still had a huge selection. Pictured below are the cannoli, s'mores filled, and red velvet old fashioned donuts. I'd never had a brioche style donut before so I enjoyed their size and the slightly denser, fluffy texture. A bit pricey for donuts but they are huge and could easily be shared. I particularly enjoyed the cannoli and red velvet; the s'more's filled was a bit too chocolate-heavy for me and would've been better with a different flavor filling. It looks like they change their flavors monthly, so I'll definitely be back to try some more down the line!
I've been wanting to check this place out after seeing it on social media; now I get the hype. They opened in 2016 and brought brioche style donuts to New England. The donuts are handmade fresh daily and they have a variety of flavors and unique combos to choose from. They have crullers, fritters, cake, filled brioche, old fashioned, and many more options. Every month they have different flavors and of course, different seasons comes with different offerings. They also have coffee from various vendors. The donuts are made by hand daily and with so many unique flavors to try. The brioche donut was huge, airy, and light; not too sweet which complements the various sweeter toppings. I had their maple bacon donut and that was so so so GOOD; the bacon was crispy/salty and the maple frosting was just the right amount of sweet and went well the airy brioche, I love the sweet and savory flavor. The service was great too, quick and friendly. There were seating inside and outside. The location is great on Wickenden Street with plenty of on-street parking; although, on weekends it may be tougher to find closer parking. I can't wait to go back and try out more of their donuts!
There are two camps of people: knead donut fans and pvdonut fans. I've always leaned toward Knead, but in 2021 when my then-boyfriend (now husband) came to visit RI for the first time, I bought PVDonuts for him and was surprised by how amazing they were. Maybe I was converting to a PVDonut fan?? But I have to say I'm very disappointed by our visit last weekend. My husband picked up a half dozen assorted donuts, and I couldn't eat more than one bite of any of them. They are SO deep fried, all I can taste is the oil. Granted, I always thought they tasted more fried than others (namely Knead), but I've never NOT finished a donut before. The flavors were just...kinda gross. :( I hope this isn't the new normal because of new ownership. I'm sure they're doing their best, but PVDonuts of yore was so much better.
Donuts are solid here. We mainly traveled for the crullers and they did not disappoint. They offer online ordering directly from their site so you can place your order one day ahead to get the flavors you want. What really surprised us was how tasty the donut holes were. For the day we've visited, they had the dunkaroos available where they are sugar coated on the outside and the filling on the inside. It was a sugar high for sure. They do have some seating inside so you can enjoy donuts and good company, also have restrooms for customers. I had left feedback on their Square receipt where they did overcharge me by accident and I didn't notice until the next day but they responded and refunded me very quickly--so shout out to their service. There's street parking but the location seems to be pretty simple to find parking. Overall a great visit and some tasty donuts.
As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with the smell of incredible donuts!! Once you get to the front of the line you'll see so many different flavors to choose from, not only are they beautifully made but there's also massive. I got the carrot cake donut. Not only was moist, but the carrot cake flavor really came through. It was nice to see complementary water available and enough setting inside and outside.
On my way to Boston I had to take a short detour to PV Donuts. I used to go years ago when I stayed in providence. This place is memorable. The store is huge with cute tables to sit at. The only problem here is that they have a huge selection of donuts making the choices difficult! Since I was only getting donuts for 2 I chose 4 donuts. The young lady behind the counter was so sweet. She was patient and explained the fillings to me. I chose milk chocolate peanut butter, lemon butter cake, coffee crumb cheese cake and vegan orange cranberry. The lemon was my favorite with the lemon filling. The coffee crumb cake was unique with the creamy cheesecake filling, the chocolate PB was rich but not too sweet. The least favorite was the vegan cranberry. I would have liked less cranberry filling it the orange flavoring was a nice offset. I may have to stop in again on my way home.
The best place to get donuts around Providence. They always have an exciting new batch of donuts monthly. The donuts are big and airy. Such a perfect sweet to fill your craving. Feels wrong not to get two different flavors to try. My go to is the Oreo or coffee flavored. Very packed in the morning time.
Look at the size of this jelly stick. It took up half the box.... The other one is the cookie butter something something.. (not sure )sooooo goooood I just realized I took a bite out of the crispy treat before the picture lol
Great experience at PVDonuts. Arrived at 2:30 when they closed at 3pm. They were apologetic that they didn't have a better selection before closing but we totally understood. We got a dozen donuts to share with our group and they were delicious. The Nutella Brioche was the favorite amongst our group. Definitely a 5 star experience. No espresso! Only drip and cold brew coffee. We'll be back!
I sampled four of their rotating monthly flavors (brioche style only) and it made for a tale of two textures. The French Toast brioche was unbeatable: golden and fluffy, with a crackly maple glaze, smooth cream‑cheese swirl, and sugary crumble that popped against the cloud‑like dough. Next in line was the second brioche (Buttery Cookie) similarly light, subtly sweet, and elevated by its excellent frostings. But the chocolate‑cookie and caramel versions were disappointing: built on a much denser, old‑fashioned or cake‑style base that felt gummy and heavy. While the toppings were impressive, the dough didn't melt, it clung, chewed, and dragged.
PVDonuts has the best donuts in Providence! Bought a half-dozen for a friend's birthday and everyone had so much fun trying out all the flavors. Although the donuts are a little pricey, they are massive and there are so many unique flavors that are hard to find in a normal donuts shop. In particular, the coffee milk and maple bacon donuts were so good. The interior is a little small, but very clean and cute. There is a counter space for enjoying the donuts. On the weekends it can get very busy and the line wraps outside the door. Would definitely recommend ordering in advance or going on a weekday! read more

The flavor choices here are beyond anyone's dreams! I loved all the fun and unique combinations, some sweet + sweet, others sweet + salty. The donuts are so fluffy and the mix of toppings adds the perfect crunch. I think my favorite flavor has to be the honey cruller (I can't remember if this is the right name). It has easily beat out any of Dunkin' Donuts old French Crullers and it was my ideal level of sweetness for the perfect donut. Following behind that one was the Blueberry donut and the Maple Bacon donut. I really loved all the more unique donuts but some did end up being a little too sweet for my liking. They were still all very delicious to try! I would also suggest to order ahead. I've tried to get it in person before but the donuts sell out very quickly and I wasn't able to get any. The ordering process is very quick, easy and well worth! read more
Awesome donuts! They are extremely elaborate and sweet, but it's not just gimmicks. The base donuts are genuinely really high quality. The flavors they pull of are very cool. Highly recommend--a Providence institution!! read more
PV Donuts is one of the best donut shops I have ever had the pleasure of trying! Their selection is huge and changes on a monthly basis, allowing for great variety and also savoring favorites while they last. The shop is large and has a bright atmosphere, but is located on the busy street of Wickenden. I recommend parking a few blocks away and walking into the shop. I ordered a coffee and half a dozen donuts. The coffee was delicious without any cream or sugar. The donuts also tasted wonderful. The staff had great recommendations. read more

We were fortunate enough to see that PVDonuts had a pop up with their food truck in Newport this past Sunday morning so it saved us the trip to Providence and we still got to enjoy some yummy donuts for breakfast!! I will note that the truck only had 4 different donuts to choose from with the limited menu onboard. Needless to say, had to try all four, listed in order of my favorites! Brown Butter Sea Salt OMG YUM! White Chocolate Oreo Dunkaroos Cereal Milk The Brown Butter Sea Salt took the win with White Chocolate Oreo coming in second!!! :) read more
I had a friend who lived in PV for a bit HIGHLY recommend PVD donuts to the point where she even reminded me twice to give this place a try. Let me tell you, this is a diabetics nightmare, but god was it worth my sugar allowance for the week, these donuts were massive and worth every bite. We arrived relatively early, assuming there would be would be a line, but heck the line was down the street and then swung across the street. The sidewalk was clearly marked with signs and "X's" on the ground to ensure appropriate social distancing practices. We waited about a half hour in line and finally we finally were able to get inside (only two parties at a time) and make our selections. The donuts were displayed behind glass, and the staff was happy to explain all of the flavors available for the day. We made our selections and then headed across the street to a nearby bench to enjoy our delicious selections. My boyfriend and I were able to decide on one a piece, so we got three donuts: French Toast Crunch (brioche donut with spiced cream cheese mousse filling, topped with maple glaze, and French toast crunch), Brookie (brioche donut, with a chocolate glaze, chocolate chip cookie, vanilla drizzle, a half of a chocolate chip cookie, and a half of a brownie), and the menu staple, the Maple Bacon donut. All in all, each donut was great for its own reasons. The French Toast Crunch was slamming because it was reminiscent of growing up watching Saturday morning cartoons or having cereal before heading off to school at 6:30am. The filling was just to die for. The Brookie was HUGE and even the cookie and brownie were just as amazing at the donut itself. I would have like for the Brookie topping to have been an actual brookie, brownie cookie, and it may have also saved them a step, but I understand for presentation purposes why they did the two separately. The Maple Bacon was sweet and salty and tasted just like you'd think Canada would if ya gave her a lick. Overall I cannot imagine ever visiting Providence Rhode Island without stopping by PVDonuts. Absolutely worth the wait, however you can preorder online through their website and pick them up at their pickup window and avoid the line altogether. read more

Such inventive - and incredibly delish - donuts! Their specialty menu changes every month, so I can see why people keep coming back! The absolute best thing we did was to pre-order our donuts online about a week ahead of time. When our selected time came, we bypassed the long order-on-site line and picked up our already-packaged box with all of the donuts we had selected. No waiting, no scrambling to choose alternatives because they ran out of what you wanted. I don't understand why more people weren't doing this! We sampled from their August "Back to School" menu: French Toast Crunch, Apple Old Fashioned, Cinnamon Sugar Poptart, Cookie Butter, Twix Cheesecake, and PB&J donut holes. My faves were the apple, pb&j, and the maple cream inside the french toast crunch. All of the donuts were Insta-worthy and tasty (although a sugar coma soon commenced after we dug in). Needless to say, we couldn't eat them all in one sitting, but even a few days later, they were enjoyable. See ya next month! read more
PVDonuts makes my favorite donuts in Rhode Island. I actually didn't care about donuts until I tried their donuts. The first donut I tried was the Dunkaroos and it's still my favorite sweet donut. On the first bite into their Dunkaroos donut, I was immediately in love. Soft brioche donut with fluffy layers topped with a perfectly matched dunkaroos frosting. It tastes exactly like the snack (which is now back) and perfect in taste. For their anniversary, they make a special dunkaroos donut. I've attached pictures of a few versions! Each month they have a themed menu with brioche, old fashioned, cake, cinnamon buns, vegan, flourless, crullers and more. The toppings are always super creative. The donuts are less sweet to make up for the toppings to make a balanced taste. My favorite donuts are from the collaborations. Their brioche donuts are used in savory creations. I've attached pictures of the ones described below! For Thanksgiving they offer the Friendsgiving donut topped with Bucktown fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. During the Super Bowl they have the Super Dough which is Bucktown buffalo fried chicken, mac and cheese, and potatoes. Solid Gold collaborated with a pressed grilled cheese. High Roller from Maine visited for lobster rolls. Bayberry collaborated for a croque madam. Winner Winner and Mission occasionally partner to make Donut Burgers and Donut Chicken Sandwiches. Before COVID, they made breakfast sandwiches in house on week days. I was only able to try it once but oh boy, I would totally eat it again! Honestly no matter how you enjoy them, they are great! read more

We were finally given the opportunity to try PVDonuts. Although I will say they were good, I would personally not wait in line for an hour to get one. We were able to try four flavors, Brown Butter Sea Salt, White Chocolate Oreo, Cereal Milk, and Dunkaroo. The Brown Butter Sea Salt was absolutely my favorite, followed by the White Chocolate Oreo. The Cereal Milk and Dunkaroo didn't quite do it for me, however. I would likely come back if I saw their food truck was in the area simply because their flavors are very unique. read more

The absolute best donuts i have ever had!! Absolutely loved the unique variety and the option to pre-order! Pickup was a breeze and staff are also super friendly!! The shop itself was also very well decorated! If you're ever in Providence this place is a must try! 10/10 would definitely recommend!! read more
Literally planned a day trip to Providence around our visit to PVDonuts! We've had this shop on our list forever. It absolutely lived up to the hype! We got 4 donuts: glazed, cereal milk, coffee oreo and pumpkin coffee cake. My favorite was pumpkin coffee cake - absolutely incredible. These were soft and fresh! They even stayed fresh the next day, which is a big win for us with donuts. On a Saturday afternoon, we didn't have to wait long and they still had a good amount left. Definitely need to plan a visit back ASAP to grab a whole dozen! read more

9/10/2022 - Who thinks driving from Boston to Rhode Island just to try PV Donuts was worth it? NICCI DO! My daughter asked for Mommy/Daughter Day for us to go there. Finally after months we drove down. Delicious. I can't choose which was my favorite out of the 7 I bought. Next time I'll buy a dozen. We practically ate them all in the car. The rest of our family got scraps. Sorry Family, I'm not sorry Family. Would I drive, buy and eat there again? YEP! read more

I don't live in Rhode Island but when I get the chance to visit Providence, you bet PVDonuts is on my route. Get there early if you want to have your pick. Pre orders are an option as well. With rotating monthly specials there is always something new and exciting to choose from. Best donuts around and huge too. read more
I'm a chubby dude and chubby dudes like donuts, so when it was brought to my attention by Yelp that a place like PVDonuts existed in Providence, I had to come and check it out for myself. This shop is located in a cool little neighborhood next to a record store and looks awesome inside (I'm a sucker for large signs that say the towns name). We came here a bit later in the day so a good amount of the donuts were sold out (which happens at a busy place that actually makes the donuts for the day), but I was lucky enough to get the donut themed after the New England Patriots, so I was happy to chew them up for just a few minutes after that win over my Buffalo Bills. The donut itself was everything I could of asked for in a donut, BIG AND SOFT! That's my perfect formula right there. The toppings weren't overwhelming and the dough was fluffy and doughy. Overall, I fell in love with PVDonuts and I'm genuinely bummed I can't come here more often. This awesome little donut shop blew me away and hopefully If you are reading this you'll allow them to do the same for you! read more
Mind blowing donuts. I've tried out some of the best donuts on the east coast recently and these are at the top of my list. I've been to places such as Dough and Donut Pub in NYC, and they just don't compare. I ordered the carrot cake, blueberry cheesecake, peanut butter banana, and s'mores. They were all absolutely phenomenal. The s'mores had a giant marshmallow on top, and was filled with what seemed to be an absurd amount of Nutella. The peanut butter banana didn't really have any banana component to it, but the peanut butter was rich and delicious. The blueberry cheesecake was exactly what it sounds like. Blueberry cream cheese filling, blueberry cream cheese icing, and cheesecake crust crumble. The donuts cost anywhere from $3-$4 each, but you truly get what you pay for. I'm surprised they don't cost more because of their freshness and high quality. Plus, they're absolutely huge! If they were $5 or $6 each I'd still buy them. What an experience! If you're passing through Providence, don't miss it! You'll regret it! read more
Ok... It's time after many, many years to give out the ultimate 5 star rating. It's taken so many tastes of the competition to finally realize I just keep comparing back to a fresh PVDonut. That's the key, fresh. Don't order a dozen donuts to nibble on later in the day or next few days, order one to enjoy fresh at the time of ordering. The fresh brioche are ridiculous. So many amazing choices, top choice is still malasadas. That one is beyond tasty!!! They offer a new menu every month with some classics to them like cereal milk, coffee milk and vanilla frosted every day. You can now do pre-orders to skip the line and pick up next day or down the line. There are no minimums!! Bathroom is clean too. Also they have local coffee available, local beer on tap and nitro cold brew and specialty drinks available. Sitting is extremely limited and expect to wait in a decent line on a weekend day. Staff is patient and usually friendly. Donut prices vary, most are $3.50 and are huge!!! Some of the specials are substantially more because of toppings or cause they represent (some can set you back $5-$7 more!!). Overall these are my favorite gourmet donuts in the area, especially the brioche. Go now!!! read more

We have lived in PVD for more than a decade but has never been able to set foot in PVDonuts due to the ridiculous long lines every day. However, we came here on a weekday, just an hour before closing, and we finally got to experience what the fuss is about. The staff is incredibly lovely, the donuts are more akin to cakes than the traditional floating circles down a fryer conveyor belt. Just look at my daughter's focused eating face, this place is a hit! read more
I do recommend this donut shop, just like the other hundreds of reviewers, the people making the line with me, and the tourists who just happen to catch the ratings for this place. The donuts are fresh, inventive, I actually happened to be there when they were showcasing a "churro" donut (I love "churros", and I hope you know what they are), and they have lots of crazy toppings. Also, the coffee is pretty good, so what else do you need? The shop is small, don't count on having a place to sit down and bust out the laptop, but for sure you are eating some good donuts. read more
Really annoyed with how they operate business. I placed a pre order 2 days before to be picked up at 2:00pm fri and paid for it, That day I knew that I was going to not make it for that time and tried a million ways to contact them to just ask a simple question (can you cancel it, can you hold it til next day, can I come 15 mins after closing.... Anything!!). They post pictures all day on social media and do not respond to any messages on it. There is no phone number. I even used a contact form on their website and no response. Lastly, I sent an email! At 3:15pm I knocked on their door, they're gone! Obviously it's my fault but please have SOME WAY to keep contact with the customers especially when you require payment for pre orders. I came from CT :( read more

Loved the unique donut flavors being offered here! I was visiting Providence and my best friend placed an order for pick up. Absolutely LOVED the coffee cake and cosmic brownie donut. All the donuts were packed with flavor and hearty so I don't think I could finish an entire donut in one sitting. She ordered a half dozen and cut them into quarters which made it more doable for consumption and allowed us to mix and match donut flavors to have with our cups of coffee. A must visit if you are a local or visiting Providence! read more

I hadn't been here in awhile and wanted to snag the June menu while I could! These donuts are incredibly decadent... brioche style so on the buttery side. The flavors are very creative. I did the preorder and the staff were super awesome about the rescheduling I had to do for my order. There's a store window for preorder pickup (I had no idea) and the signage isn't the best when you get on-site -- it would be great if they could have some verbiage in the email confirmation with instructions on what to do for preorder pickup to minimize confusion! For out of town visitors, there's a waterfront park close by and a great spot to enjoy donuts with your family/kiddos. Look forward to coming by again! read more
tl;dr a bustling bakery, serving up gourmet donuts that are now Providence's quintessential dessert Providence recently has undergone a boon the sophisticated donut scene, fueled especially by a rivalry between PVDonuts and Knead Donuts. While Knead is located in the city center, PVDonuts is out-of-the-way in a residential neighborhood near the university. A grey, barn-like exterior and the smell of fresh-baked bread will leave your stomach grumbling as you wait in a line that frequently trails out the door. Despite the crowd, there is ample room the bakery, with one communal table and a few smaller tables to the sides. Over-the-top mushroom lighting fixtures hang from the ceiling, and bright, poppy artwork (including a sprinkle mural and a hot pink neon sign) line the white-washed walls. To the left is a large station for preorder pickups, which is definitely the move if you know what you want ahead of time. This past visit, my partner and I decided to wait in the line because we wanted to check out each of the rotating flavors before committing. Late morning on the weekend, we were waiting for around half an hour before finally getting a chance to order. We decided on the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Filled donut, the Moon Pie Old-Fashioned donut, and the Keebler Cookie Brioche donut. To our surprise (and delight), the donuts were enormous -- they filled us up in lieu of lunch until dinner time! The filled donut was topped with a thick cinnamon-cream cheese filling, and the crisp of cereal on top complemented the pillowy brioche bread.. The only thing was that I wish it was a little more cinnamon-y and sugary. The old fashioned was topped with a chocolate ganache and a marshmallow ring on top of the dense cake-y donut. Like the filled, this donut was thick and tall with a generous helping of toppings, although it was admittedly difficult getting marshmallow in each bite. Finally, the brioche donut was topped with a traditional glaze and a whole M&M cookie. It ended up feeling much lighter due to the thin layer of frosting, and the simplicity accentuated the buttery brioche. That being said, the cookie itself felt superfluous. Overall, I was impressed by the donuts cooked up at PVDonuts (unlike Knead, I do believe that PVDonuts' quality justifies the $3.50 price), but I don't think I would want to wait in that line for them. If I go back, it will be at an off-hour. read more
I always stop at PV Donuts when I come through Providence! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Pro tips: place an order online the day before so you can skip the line and walk right in. You can also drop by during the week and there is rarely a line. Donuts change depending on the month so you're always in for a treat! We typically grab a bunch and cut them up to share as they are very rich. You really can't go wrong with any choices. Parking is easy and there are gender neutral bathrooms. read more
One of the best donuts I had!! Reasons: Fluffy Distinct Creative Who can say no to waffles, pancake, and bacon on top of a fluffy donut?! The creative part is definitely the tube of maple syrup (stabbed into the pancake) as a decor/additional sweetener. I love ALL of the flavors I got, but if I have to choose the top 3, it would be the macadamia cookie donut, the one in the left middle, and creamy chocolate (top right)! I would drive to Rhode Island from NY for these.... read more
Delicious boutique donuts that do not disappoint! I've lived in Providence for about a year now and I make sure to pre-order an assortment for friends and family whenever they come to visit from the West Coast. Honestly, pre-ordering has saved my life after I made the mistake of twice going right when they opened and waiting 30+ minutes in line. Although PVDonuts changes their menu monthly, my favorite donuts by far are the brioche donuts. They have a wonderful fluffy texture and are large enough to feed two individuals! The dunkaroos brioche that they make on Thursdays only are definitely worth the hassle. :) I especially liked menu items in the fall with the apple cider donut and the pumpkin cannoli filled donut. You can always count on a PVDonut to be 'instagram ready': pleasing to the eye and the taste buds! For those who prefer not to plan ahead and pre-order, I've also had great experiences just dropping in close to closing time and getting an assortment of donuts. PVDonuts makes sure to post every day on Instagram and Twitter how many donuts they have left, and of what type, so you know what to expect when you arrive. read more

This shop has gotten us through the pandemic with their online ordering system. I have waited in line for donuts pre-COVID and now just order online. They have a monthly menu that has plenty of vegan (an non-vegan) options. You would never know there is no eggs or dairy in the vegan donuts. They are delicious, fresh, and fluffy. They are also incredibly unique. Look at all the photos on social media and here to see the toppings. So creative! This trip I ordered two of the three types of vegan donuts they had: Maple Pancake with mini pancakes and a dropper of syrup, and the Frosted Raspberry. Love to support this local team and will continue consuming (and gifting) their yummy donuts! read more

A must-visit when in Providence, it was less than an hour after landing at BOS that a dozen pre-ordered rounds were unboxed, the fact that PVDonuts continues to sell out daily during COVID-19 a testament to quality that remains unparalleled anywhere in America. No lines in 2020, though Social Distancing has done nothing to slow down Paul and Lori Kettelle's creativity or ever-changing list of scratch-made flavors, it was along with two adults and a child that Baked Apple Pie was divided, fluffy Brioche standing up well to fragrant filling both here and in the case of Pumpkin Puree as well as Cookie Butter. Still impressed by PVDonut's multitude of styles, the rarity of seeing Fritters, Crullers, Cake, Old Fashioned and Yeast in the same shop not lost on a connoisseur, it was beneath a Cookie plus Maple Cinnamon-Sugar that Dough remained airy, though so too was the case with one-day-only "Friendsgiving" featuring Fried Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Cranberries and Stuffing. Personally favoring Old Fashioned Donuts, and happy to see three on the November menu, it was following Blueberry Cake featuring no mix but fresh local Fruit that "Oreo Cheesecake" took center stage, its texture crumbly yet melting with expected richness while a version with Caramel and Pecans was equally delicious. Showing well with Carrot Cake, though Walnuts or Raisins would have added to the effect, seasonality was spotlighted with three more Pumpkin Donuts, the Brioche and Starbucks-riffing Cake both enjoyable while the sliced, filled and loaded Pumpkin Cannoli Old Fashioned was a work of art. read more

I was at a wedding that had PVDonuts in lieu of cake and I fell in love! There were so many amazing flavors to choose from but ultimately I went with the s'more and a vegan variety filled with a chocolate pudding of sorts. The s'more was hands down my favorite. Topped with chocolate ganache, crumbled graham crackers and toasted marshmallow fluff, stuffed with a delicious chocolate filling. So good! My husband had a lemon filled variety as well as coconut and after sampling both his and mine I came to the conclusion that PVDonuts is reliable and delicious! Highly recommended! read more
