I had a fun evening here with my coworkers for a little mini golf challenge. We got to play two 9-hole courses and the magic ball tracked our scores. Tip: even if you're not winning, that last hole can change everything! The place is so cute with neon lights and a little voice in the ceiling cheering you on. We were able to get some beverages while we played, and there are tables with purse hooks at each hole so you can take your stuff with you and put it down while you putt. The course is fun, some trivia and neat challenges. After our games, we had some food and drinks. The first question the server asked was "Does anyone have any allergies?" (Yes thank you!!) We got a variety of sharables and I have to say the margarita pizza/flatbread on the gluten free crust was AMAZING.

Been to Dania Pointe tons of times but never knew this restaurant/bar/Goony Golf place was here until tonight, although it did only open eight months ago. As soon as we entered, an arcade vibe was instant with a large brightly lit bar center stage and a kitchen in the distance. The manager Angie was super outgoing and explained the FUN concept and the $5.00 happy hour drinks and bites menu. My wife's heart was set on an Aperol Spritz specialty cocktail for only $10.00. Watched basketball on the several monitors throughout. Several interactive golf putting machines but the main FUN was the futuristic Goony Golf at the back of the venue but it was loaded with kiddies and thier parents. We decided to return on a weeknight and play Goony Golf to avoid the kiddie invasion. Thought that $21.00 for two adults for 2 rounds of golf was reasonable. FUN FUN EXPERIENCE here with friends - watch - play - eat - drink...

This is a great place to spend on a date night or with kids. The playing area is not huge by any means but if you get the unlimited you'll be able to take a break and get some food or hangout at the bar. Nice vibe and employees are super helpful. It's fun if you go with a group. But I recommend to go unlimited or else you'll be done in 30 mins. Overall it's a nice place to hangout and relax.

The food kind of took too long to come out when it did come out. It was a bit cold, and my cornbread was extremely dry. I did not finish it. The shrimp was OK, but it would have been better if it was hot.

This is def one of my new faves in Dania Pointe! They are located at the northern part of the shopping center and there is a garage nearby if you're hunting for parking. Puttshack is great for so many fun occasions like a date night or birthday party and they have a nice happy hour during the week that goes from 3-6 Monday through Thursday. This day, our party of four did the All You Can Putt and it was nice to be able to do all three courses for 25 bucks a person. I think that's the better option because one game can go pretty quickly. It can get pretty competitive especially because you lose a few points each time you hit the ball. It's all in good fun and I would definitely go back.

It definitely felt like miniature golf of the future! There were several different options for the 9 hole courses. There were unique obstacles in the way, some gave extra points for trivia. It was a different scoring system than any other golf I ever experienced. It was nice being able to have real-time score updates and not needing to carry around a scorecard. Staff was very friendly and while there were a lot of people around, the games moved pretty quickly. My group and I were very focused on trying to make it up high on the daily leaderboard. I would definitely go back and try the other courses!

A seamless and enjoyable experience. I've seen negative reviews about this place being packed and I can see how that can be a frustrating experience during busy times. I went during the week and did the 9 hole experience. I would recommend getting a little tipsy (if you drink) then doing the 18 hole if you're doing a date night experience. Overall I enjoyed my night out when the venue is a little less busy and relaxed.

I heard they opened a new puttshack in Broward. Finally got a chance to check it out! This is located in Dania point which is great. Free parking in the deck. We sat at the bar. All of the bartenders were great! The drinks were amazing! I had a passion fruit margarita. Everything on the menu sounded good! Folks around us cosigned. I went with the OG which hit the spot. Didn't play a round of golf but watched football on the big screen. Will definitely be back.

After eyeing this place and a long long wait for this to open, it finally did recently and I'm so glad to have come here! I've gone two times now and the first time was about a few days or after they first had officially opened. Instantly greeted by the staff asking if we were dining, playing or both and they explained the whole process. We had gotten a reservation booked to play the first time and arrived early before my time so while we waited the staff suggested we can sit in the lounge or even at the bar if we wanted a couple drinks. We got to talking with the bartenders as well as the manager and everyone was super friendly. It was nice learning more about the place and how things have been since they opened! The bar is incredible and they have plenty of different options for a variety of tastes as well as non alcoholic options, which is always nice. While I still haven't eaten here, I hope one day to try out some of the food or even a few small bites at the bar. Playing the game was straightforward if you've played mini golf before. However, the interesting part of this is that there's a lot of interactive technology involved so keeping track of your scores is done for you as your assigned golf ball tracks your putts and when it's your turn! Makes things easier. It's extremely unique with how each hole is set up. There are two courses each with 9 holes and you can choose to do one course or both. Each hole is cool having different inspired games/ themes such as Connect Four, Pac Man, Tetris, classic arcade games! The air hockey one is awesome as like some of the others it moves to make it more of a challenge as you putt. If you didn't want to drink at the bar or are craving a drink as you play they offer drinks to serve directly to you while playing. It's a cool concept! Love this place and it's great for all ages. Highly recommend trying it out and the best part is that it's inside away from the heat!

Stopped by on a weekday afternoon with a friend so we arrived with no reservations. It was pretty empty so we were checked in and started right away. The concept of this mini golf establishment is pretty cool, very interactive with trivia questions and other ways to make the game more enjoyable. We completed all 18 holes within 1 hour, the only downside is the system malfunctioned a good 3x so we constantly had to walk over to get help resetting it. Other than that, we had a good time. I would go back and take advantage of their bar as it looks like a good time for the weekends. I didn't eat here so not sure how the food is.

    Bonus!

I've heard many great things about Puttshack and had to check it out myself! There are 4 different sections at this location, each with 9 holes. The "diamond" section is the only one where you are aiming at what looks like a TV screen. The other 3 sections have the 9 hole "course" (they really make use of the space they have). Puttshack offers a fun and competitive way to enjoy putt putt. They are a restaurant, they have a bar and you can even order drinks to enjoy on the course. Every hole in a section is different, but some are similar to the a few other holes in the other sections. I love how you do not need to track your score or how many shots you take as your ball tracks all that for you. What's nice is you do not have to go in order, but the 9th hole has to be the last for the ball return. You can either book online or at the location. For both, you either have to check in or book via the iPads mounted on the wall. The stand in the front is more of a host stand for seating in the restaurant. Check them out!

First timer but have been to the brickell location. This one is new and I think still getting themselves figured out. Our party of 6 had a reservation but they were unable to locate it so it took about 30min to get us situated and golfing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and will give it another shot maybe on a weekend. Thursday's they close at 11pm so it was a quick in and out vibe due to lost time checking in. We enjoyed the food and they have a full bar. Fun drink selections as well. Aside from the system issues this place is clean and a fun spot for date night or even a family night with the kids. Would recommend, just a fair warning to be patient as they are new and still figuring out their flow.

Glad to see a fun, wholesome, adult themed mini golf in our area! It is very modern and unlike traditional mini golf where you have to keep track of everyone's points. Here there's tech confused at each station and a sensor in the mini golf ball. As soon as you place it on the floor, it knows what user the ball is registered to and keep track of the points . There are several tracks at this location - at least 4. What's unique about Puttshack is that it's more on the adult oriented side, with a bar and restaurant in the very center. You can grab a drink from the bar and take it along with you while you mini golf. They have little tables that you can set it down at while you golf. Had an informal party event here. This is the second location that I visited. The first being the location in Scottsdale, Arizona as soon as I heard this one was opening I was very excited. I needed some low-key wholesome fun together a group of friends that didn't involve heavy drinking or strenuous activity. This was the perfect spot. I did not book a formal party room, but rather registered guests into two groups and had us go around together. It was a great time! I recommend this for a date night or a group hang out!

Like many women's clubs in Florida, the Hollywood Women's Club was founded in 1922 during the Florida Land Boom years. In the 1920's women's clubs were formed to give back to the community. They became a way for women to get out of the house and assert their independence. They allowed women to get involved in politics and launched the women's rights movement. The Hollywood Women's Club predated the founding of the city and in 1924 they joined the General Federation of Women's Clubs. The first club members were the wives of officers in the J.W. Young Organization which was the development company building Hollywood. They met in the first clubhouse that was built on land donated by the founder of Hollywood, Joseph W. Young in 1927. Early club projects included donating hundreds of books to the first public library, holding tag sales to pay for health screenings for children, giving migrating farmers assistance with housing and welfare, getting the Miami Telephone Co. to bring the first telephone line to town, and collecting $12,000 during a war bonds drive. Today the club supports literacy programs, funds a youth scholarship, participates in the Hollywood Historical Society, supports the neighborhood crime watch, and provides financial aid to many state charities through the General Federation of Women's Clubs. The original plans for the clubhouse included an ornate Mediterranean Revival style. After the collapse of the land boom due to the Great Depression and several hurricanes the design was scaled back to a more affordable $25,000 Classical Revival style building in 1927. The building was listed as a a local historical landmark in 1985, and added to the National Register of Historic Place in 1995. Between 2012 and 2014 money was raised by the club and added to a grant to prevent the clubhouse from sinking into the sand. Other cosmetic work was also completed on this charming historical building. In 2022 the Hollywood Women's Club celebrated their 100th anniversary. During this time further electrical improvements and upgrades to the kitchen were made. Today the clubhouse is available to be rented for private events. The 1,200 square foot main event room has hardwood floors and a grand piano and can accommodate 60 people. There is also a catering kitchen. Information on how to rent the clubhouse and join and volunteer with this important civic organization can be found on the club website. If there are any upcoming events you can find that information as well. For instance they hold 2 round bingo nights for $10. The next bingo night is May 30th and they serve inexpensive drinks including alcohol and snacks. For over 100 years the women of Hollywood have been coming together to improve their local community as well as the state of Florida. I came across the banquet hall after a google search when I decided to transition from my original idea. I emailed and was able to see the venue the same day. I instantly fell in love! It had the intimate feel that I was looking for. We had to put down $1000 and set up a monthly pay payment plan with the final payment due about 3 weeks before the party. A cash deposit of $500 must be turned in by 48 hours before the party for incidentals but as long as you don't mess up anything, you will get your money back. All of the logistics are detailed in the contract that you must sign to eliminate any confusion or misunderstandings. From start to finish, Kat and I developed the perfect party for my mom. She made sure that we covered every aspect and a few days before we did a final once over for the party. Yesterday was the day of the party and everything ran so smoothly. About a week before, Kat developed a timeline for the party and it was followed to the T. EVERYONE at the party raved about the decor, the food and the venue itself. It is the next day and I am STILL receiving complaints about the hall. Kat and staff - I can't thank you all enough for making my mom's 61st birthday so memorable! You have definitely gained a new loyal customer!

I chose this location because it was ideal since the majority of my family and friends live 15-20 minutes away. In addition, I chose to have my wedding here because this location can accommodate both a wedding ceremony as well as the reception. My wedding coordinator, Kat, was a pleasure to work with and she will try to accommodate your wants and needs. The menu options that were offered were okay. I did not like that we were not able to taste test the food that was paid for and as a result, I was very disappointed in the food that was served at my wedding (embarrassed actually). There is not an option to bring your own food. You are allowed to add food to the menu for an additional fee of $75 per pan. Although you are allowed to provide your own alcohol, you must pay a fee of $150 to do so with the limitation of 10 bottles. I had a total of $85 guests. We spent many months preparing for the design of the reception area. A few days before the wedding, I was notified by Kat that their "design team" did not approve of my design and there were changes made that I did not authorize. In the many months we spent planning, I had never met this "design team". The designs that are offered by the venue are basic, and any additional designs you want to add need to be "approved" by this "design team". I spent hundreds of dollars of my own money to provide additional decorations so that the reception area did not look plain. I booked the limo with La Vie En Rose. On the day of my wedding, I was to be picked up at 4:45pm and dropped off at 5:00pm. Unfortunately, the limo company that they work with had some last-minute changes and a staff member of the banquet hall had to pick me up. I did not get to the wedding until 5:30 which was a problem because they charge $75 for every 15 minutes pass 10:00pm (the end of the reception). With me arriving 30 minutes late, my entire wedding was pushed back, and the whole wedding was rushed. I was upset that I was being rushed since the venue was late picking me up. No one ever offered to give me an additional 30 minutes toward my wedding, even though they were late picking me up. A cash deposit of $500 must be paid 48-hours before the wedding, it will be refunded, if there are no damages made. You must also completely vacate the reception area at 10:00pm sharp. Funnily enough, the Dj will play songs that will get the guests dancing at this time. I had to personally go to the Dj booth at 9:50pm so that he could stop the music because I did not want to be charged an additional $75. One of the groomsmen threw up in the bathroom, and my father cleaned it up. They still charged $75 although we had cleaned up the mess. Last but not least, there was an altercation (nearly a physical fight) between my sister-bridesmaid and their bartending staff. Although I provided and paid for the alcohol to be served, the rude bartender (staffed by the venue) refused to service my sister-bridesmaid. My guests had to break up the altercation that was caused by their bartender. Their bartending staff was also hustling my guests for money, and my guests were coming up to me asking me: "why is hustling me for money". I was very embarrassed, and in the end the bartender was removed, but the damage had already been done. Overall, I would give La vie En Rose a 6/10.
