I came here for Father's Day, and at first we thought the place was closed. But as soon as we walked in, the music was popping and the atmosphere completely changed! They have an amazing Sunday special for $14.65, which includes shoe rental and 2.5 hours of bowling. Just keep in mind that you need a minimum of 3 players and must arrive before 7 PM to take advantage of the deal. We ordered the loaded fries and lemon pepper chicken wings, and both were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and I loved the variety of music they played throughout the evening--Spanish, rap, old school, reggae, and more. It's always fun get to get the group together for some fun and games. It was a last minute plan, but some friends and I came here Sunday around 7pm for a few games. There are weekly specials, Sunday it's $14.95 minimum 3 or more persons per lane, with shoes included until closing time. That is not a bad deal at all! The inside of this establishment is very old, the flooring, furniture and colors definitely show their age. There a small bar area, with some high tops and seats, however, I found their drink price are over priced! $21 for a double Tito's and cranberry, seems outrageous for this area. Service was ok, we met a friendly young woman at the bar and cracked some jokes with her. Probably not a bowling alley that I would come back to, not anytime soon. But if you're looking for some games and cheap definitely come here on a Sunday after 7 PM. You'll basically get unlimited bowling until closing for about $15 a person. read more

I've been here before but hadn't visited in quite a while, so I was pleasantly surprised to see some updates since my last trip. I checked online pricing and found it a bit expensive for two people on a Sunday, but after looking further, I discovered a great deal that included an hour and a half of bowling, shoe rental, a pizza, and soda for up to six people. Even though it was just the two of us, the price was the same, which made it a good value. When we arrived, it took a little while for someone to come to the front desk, but it seemed like he may have been the only employee working at the time, so it wasn't a big issue. He checked us in, got our shoes, and sent us to our lane. I was bowling with a child, so we used the bumpers, which automatically popped up during her turns. Unfortunately, one of the bumpers was slow to come up and took about a minute each time, which caused us to lose some bowling time waiting for it to adjust. The scoring screens offered several different graphics, which was fun to try out. After about an hour and fifteen minutes of bowling, I buzzed the front desk to ask about our pizza and drinks. They were brought out shortly after, and the staff mentioned they had forgotten them. The pizza was actually pretty good for bowling alley food--large, crunchy, and topped with big pepperoni slices. You ever walk into a bowling alley and see prices and think you should go somewhere else? That's not what happens here. This place has phenomenal service. Krens is mastering the bar like DJ mustard on the 1's and 2's. The wait staff is always on point. The food is amazing. This is one of the best pizza I've ever had. The crust was perfection. The lanes are fairly new but roll so well. They are mostly consistent per pair and you won't have to overthink much depending what event you're bowling for. Parking is easy. It's a fairly large lot and there's parking adjacent to every single door. The Pro Shop had some really great specials during the tournament I was there for. If it wasn't for me already having just gotten a new ball this week, likely would have jumped on them. I don't make it into the pro shop but I would recommend it based on the pricing on the door. Came here twice so far. There isn't much to do in Florida and you can't beat going bowling. Wanted to get away from the crowds and was happy to have come here. It's definitely a blast from the past with the nostalgic interior. But that's what makes it. There was a good steady flow of people coming in and out. Music was cool. Restrooms are clean. Shoes werent too shabby. Went for the second time yesterday. And finished our hour before the rockin bowl where the lights are off. The projectors, cool lights, dj and explicit music starts. I'll definitely come back for that soon. The pizza wasnt so bad. Not sure if they have BBQ sauce or ranch on the side but I'll probably ask. read more

I am very pleased to say that Strikers is the premier bowling center in So Fla. Nobody even come close. Improvements are constantly being made with more to come in mid August. New lanes and pinsetters will be installed and I know personally one southpaw who is going to be thrilled. Every month the owners keep making both major and minor improvements to insure that this center maintains a perfect rating. Staff is always friendly and willing to help. The league secretaries are the best in the business . Whether it be Karen or Deb there are none better in running the leagues. In my opinion if you want to bowl, this is the only center you should patronize. read more

I have been to Strikers several times over the years. A few times for birthday parties and a few times for work team building activities. Our team had an outing this afternoon and I was surprised by a few things.. 1. The tables had napkins with our company colors. 2. The food table had a nice sign welcoming up with our company logo and some balloons. 3. They had a vegan option that WASN'T just a salad and French fries....they had the beyond meat burger served in a vegan naan bread. I had a choice of salad or fries. The "burger" was cooked perfectly. The rest of the team had pizzas and wings. They all seemed to enjoy it and it was nice that they put out different sauces for everyone. The woman taking care of us (along with all other staff we came in contact with) was super friendly and kept us happy, fed and kept the drinks filled. The bowling alley itself is a little dated, but it was clean and the lanes are well kept. We had no issues with the computers and the music was fun. Doing the best they can during these covid times. This was my first visit to Strikers, but surely will not be my last. We stopped in on a Saturday, and got a lane for 5 people. It wasn't overly busy, although it did appear that there was a league going on at the far end, so we were over in the lower numbered lanes with the families. The pricing was pretty good. $25 per hour per lane, so I liked that more than paying per game per person. Shoes were a $4 rental. They have nice, digital lanes and scoring, so that part of the process was very simple. Everyone is spaced out by a lane, so they are going every other. This was also nice because of the covid concerns. The lanes were in good shape. Nice oil, so we were able to get a good, accurate roll. No issues with the lanes or ball returns. The restaurant and bar were both open. There was lane service, so a waitress brought drinks to the table. I am not sure if you can order food from the lane, we went up and ordered from the window. As far as food goes, we had a pizza and chicken tenders. Everything was as you would expect from a bowling alley. Nothing out of this world, but good enough to fill you up. Better than a straight frozen pizza, but not on par with an actual pizzeria. The prices were average. As far as South Florida bowling alleys go, this is one of the nicer ones. The people were friendly, everything was in good condition, the prices were solid, and the grub and suds were on par with other places. Here for a bday party. If they were trying to give the ambiance of poorly managed and unwelcoming they did a great job. The food staff were belligerent, clueless and had the motivation of angry teen slugs. I tried to order wings. They became upset and said I would have to wait till owner comes. (?!) Which confused me. Then after going and back and forth, they admitted they were out of a lot of things because the owner hadn't showed up with supplies. Ok, then what do you have? Mind you it's 12:30 and children were getting hungry. Then I asked for water and that apparently made them even more upset. No water pitchers permitted till 1. Each person needed to walk up and ask for a cup of water. Mind you there are 20+ people which seems more work than necessary. Finally they agreed to surrender the water pitcher. Food wasn't terrible, expected for the venue. The service was terrible. Like many parents, I attend many parties looking for venues to hold my own children's parties. With the going rate of $500-$2000 for a single event, this place needs to get their priorities together. If you're looking for a bday venue with better service, Dave and busters is excellent. We will thankfully never have to return as the child who likes to bowl is aging out of large parties. While searching on Groupon for something, I came across Striker's Family Sportscenter. We are from out of town and we were looking for something fun to do. I searched for reviews and saw that it had good reviews. When we arrived, the outside didn't look like a place where families would go to have fun. I started doubting and didn't know if we should turn around and return back to the hotel but told my husband "let's go inside and see how it looks". Glad we did. Right away, I could tell it has been cleaned. It smelled like they have been cleaning. We stood there for a lil while and finally had to ask the girl who was dealing with the bowling balls if she could have someone help us. She called someone through the radio. Honestly, I shouldn't have had to tell her anything. She saw us there. She looked right at us. And the sign said to wait there for assistance. Finally the other girl tells us to come to the counter. I tell her I have a Groupon and she scanned it from my phone. She asked us for shoes sizes. The smallest shoe size is 8 so my youngest one who will be 3, she wears size 6 but had to wear the 8 because that's the smallest they had. The shoes were given to us wrapped up in a plastic bag so you can tell they had been cleaned. We go to lane 10 and get set up. The Groupon deal we had was for 2 hours up to 5 people, shoe rental and a large 1 topping pizza for $43.00. Not bad. I had requested to have the bumpers up for the first two names (the little ones) and I also requested the ramp so the little ones could use it when their turn was up. The pizza came out halfway through the first game and it wasn't too bad. My husband purchased 3 small drinks and it was around $6 and some change. They had the families spread out. We didn't have anyone at either side of us, the next family was in lane 8 and we were in lane 10. The bathrooms were cleaned but the thing I found weird was that the stalls didn't have a little trash can how most bathroom stalls have. We were there for almost 2 hours. We ended up leaving at the end of the last game and we have maybe 15-20 minute left but we were done. I do recommend this place and again when you see the outside, don't let it fool you. I'm currently here now and it is SO PACKED , MOST ARENT wearing mask , we are like so close to people and the people that are Next to me are ALL OVER my bowling lane , like ALLLLL OVERRRR ! I have a 1 year old who can not wear mask when I complain to the manager about it he told me that he cannot do anything about it because the law open up to where we don't have to be 6 feet apart anymore ! They can at least do EVERY OTHER LANE . I mean it is Easter Sunday and I don't want to be in my house , I want to be able to enjoy myself too . I've been to this bowling alley a few times and each time I had a good time. It is a little out of the way for me, so clearly this is always an advance planned event for me. So that I can mentally prepare for the drive. LOL. I hate driving. They have nightly specials. Which is one of the nights that I went. It was a little late for me as I am an early bird. Prices were reasonable, for the specials. Not sure how much everything cost without the specials. They played a good variety if music which I liked. I do not like places that simply plays one genre of music. They had food but I personally wouldn't try it. I have high standards for pizza and this place isn't it. Did not realize this place was here! A great hangout spot for people of all ages. There's a full bar and food; their menu was pretty big! The bowling alley was big with comfy couches. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed. It was rockin bowling from 9pm to 1am; $25 per lane-per hour, $4 per pair of shoes. They were playing good music and classic hits. The lights on the alley were bright and pretty. The employees were friendly and walked around and passed out coupons for our next visit. They also sell socks if you forgot them. My friends ordered some onion rings and chips which looked delicious. They do specials throughout the week and it's actually cheaper every other day except Saturdays. Bowling is one of my favorite activities. Love the old school feel of Strikers Family Sportscenter, though it does feel a bit dirty. This was my second visit here, none of they staff are in a hurry here (not the best service). As far as bowling goes, prime time rates can get kind of pricey, though I hear they have good groupon deals (next time, Ill def check groupon before coming). They have a full bar and a snack bar with a bunch of fried good options and pizza. We ate before we came so I cannot verify the quality of the food. We came the first time here tonight because we bought a Groupon for 5 people 2 hour lanes, shoes, and large pizza to share for $50.00 The outside of the place is deceiving because it didn't look like a place I would go in (just being honest) but inside looked great! One of the coolest features is that if you are a family and you go with a child that requires bumpers the attendant will have the bumpers electronically lift each time the child has their turn and it will lower for the rest of the adults. That blowed my mind! It was very clean inside, great music, we enjoyed a great selection of beers at the bar. We even liked the pizza. It tasted great to us. Here for a team building event. Balls are smooth, and neatly organized. Arcade is subpar, I need some Marvel VS Capcom in my life. Prizes are rinky dink Chinese tchotchkes. Food is expectable, bowling alley pizza I.E. sauce soaked cardboard that found its way under a heat lamp then some drunk guy in a hair net sprinkled sponge cheese and cut it into 5 pieces. Mozzarella sticks were brown on the inside and white on the inside, so close to the real thing except the outside reminded me of a scab. And the potato skins were basically various forms of grease shaped and colored to imitate something digestible. I bowled a 117. Hard to believe. I know. Easily my favorite bowling alley I've been to in south Florida! I recently saw they were on Groupon and I jumped on it. $20 got me a lane for two hours, shoe rental for up to 5 (there was two of us), and a large pizza (once again, only two of us. We ate the whole thing). I had so much fun here and I have fun every time I come here. They have Floridian on tap! Pitchers of yuengling are $12 and you get 5 full beers out of it so I'm a happy camper. We bowled 5 games, ate a whole pizza, had a few pitchers, and played in the arcade. It's dead on a Wednesday night and the staff is really awesome. Great customer service. They have specials every night so I'd definitely check their website. What's most valued about this establishment is their deals, ability to service large groups of persons via private parties, corporate events, and youth - enjoying nice lights, music, bar food, and the competitive game of bowling. It's been sometime and decided by viewing their site and schedule lined by days to pay the location a visit with a group of youth to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival and entrance, we were told that there was a tournament for the day (not mentioned) via website, poster, dove or pigeon. Unfortunately, the group was disappointed. I recently visited because I came across an awesome groupon. I called before heading out (thursday night) to make sure they accept groupons on that night because I know some places don't. When I called I was basically "encouraged" to not come in because it's their bowling league night and they are just SO busy. The person on the phone pretty much said if I went in I'd be wasting my time and that I should only come in on Tuesday night. I still decided to swing by and lo and behold, there were alot of people there BUT they had a handful of empty lanes and I didn't have to wait at all to get one so I already had a bad impression with them attempting to turn away my business. The place itself is a standard bowling alley. No extra frills or anything like other bowling alleys I've been to. They have a little arcade section and a bar as well as a place to order food. This place was cool but there's LOTS of room for improvement. For starters I got there early to experience the arcade however it was horrible the very first game I attempted to play, similar to skeeball with a different name, was broken with no markings to indicate that. I was able to catch the attention of an associate racing by who came to remedy it for me BUT as soon as he was out of sight and that one game was over it was non-operational yet again and it still was taking my cash credit from my arcade card. I gave up and moved on to another game! The deal or no deal machine worked after swiping my card but then it never paid the tickets out after you win to the tune of over 300 plus ticket I WAS ON A ROLL PEOPLE. Did I mention there was no one at the overstocked prize counter available to troubleshoot or offer customer service. The rest of our party arrived after about an hour and 15 mins of no tickets gaming in the arcade. We were able to start bowling almost immediately that's great and it was cool we got 3 large one topping pizzas and 2 pitchers of lemonade for my family and I. Though the pizza was hot and yummy it was just average for me. The bar was clean even though the place was beyond PACKED. Kudos to the staff for that but the restroom was kind of dark and messy. I love that the associates were so attentive to the lane as we bowled each time the kids got their balls wedged Midway down the lane they magically appeared to remove it. Thanks!!! read more

3.5 stars!! I have been to this bowling alley a few times everytime with a group of people and the experience has always been decent no major complaints, but a few negatives. Let me say now, I do like this bowling alley and will continue to patronize this establishment mainly because the good outweighs the bad. The outer exterior is not bad, but does not reflect the inside of the building. This inner interior is not the most up to date, but it is well kept and nice. As with most bowling alleys the front desk is right by the front main entrance. This place can be very busy especialy in the later peak hours, but I feel personally the staff may get to focus on dealing with the crowd and the customer service may drop some. But in their defense I get it to an extent when things all of sudden get busy you have to switch into another mode, but maybe a little reminding to the staff during these busy time to assure that their service does not lack. Focus on the task at hand, but smile (it goes a long way), even when it crazy and customers are pulling you in every directions. Otherwise, I have been to this bowling alley just before the weekend late rush and the service was on point no complaints at all (friendly, helpful, and patient). Not sure what it is with bowling alley food, but I have to say for myself personally I have never had bad food at a bowling alley. This place is not different, the food is always hot and fresh and very good. I have to say maybe some of the best bowling alley food I have had (top 5). My favorite is the Sampler type platter cant remember the name, but it has fries , onion rings, wings, popcorn chicken and something else, but the amount of food you get for the price to me is a great value. My only major complaint is that the lanes seem to malfunction more than I recall at other bowliing alleys. Being fair im not sure if it's just the luck of the draw for me, but everytime I have been here with the exception for two time I had issues with the lanes getting stuck. My last visit on January 17, 2015, was especially bad with the lane malfunctioning. We were using a groupon and had the two hours of bowling. Once we put the names in and hit the red button the lane would not start. It took about 5 minutes to get the lane going to begin the game. I did hit the restart button on the side, but nothing happen. During our game the lane if I recall correctly (38) I think the third to last lane opposite end of the food station malfunctioned two other times. I know before we were offered more time, but not this time around. If I had to say we lost a total of about 15 minutes of bowling, which would have at least allowed us ot finish or last game which timed out in the 8th frame. Due, to the kids having had a good time and were satisfied I just let it be and and we left. I do not hold it against them things happen and you cannot control everything that's just business especially things of a mechanical nature. As stated earlier I will continue to patronize this business. read more

In just 6 short weeks I have to downgrade my review from 3 stars to 1. Since new ownership took over this center has definitely fallen into the crapper and is in serious decay. The telescore does not score properly and you always have to pay serious attention to the scoring. You are unable to reset the pins by yourself and half the time you are unable to make proper score adjustments without the help of front desk. There is always at least one broken pin on each pair of lanes. Since there is hardly any help roaming around you have to go look for help in clearing dead wood or other problems. Today the oiling machine broke and we had to bowl on very spotty lanes which proved to be a disaster. The snack bar is a total train wreck. I know of 2 bowlers that had to wait 1-2 hours for an order of fries. When one of those two started to use a bit of profanity and demanded the fries be comptd he was kicked out of the center and banned from it permanently. Now I do not condone the use of profanity however use a bit of common sense when dealing with your customer base. Now we have a lot of great bowlers who have lots of balls that are kept on the couches in the bwling circle. We all sit at the tables in the rear since nobody sits on these couches in the first place. Now you make an announcement that addtl balls are no longer allowed on these couches. Give me a break and pay more attention to the maintenance of all you equipment along with lane maintenance and not worry about balls on the couches. read more

The place was a bit run down. We went on a Groupon coupon offer. It took 1.5 hours to get our pizza. While others got their orders before we did that were there MUCH sooner. For 30 min they keep telling us "5 minutes". They were low on staff, and it was shocking since it was on a busy night (Saturday). The lane we had was constantly breaking down and lost up to 20 minutes of the two hours we reserved it for, which made me real angry because they refused to extend us the courtesy to put it back on the clock.
