Dela is a ghost kitchen, so it's either pickup or delivery. There's no dining room or table service. DoorDash was offering a promo to try this new restaurant, so I placed an order on a Saturday afternoon. The Comidazo website, says Dela is a Caribbean themed menu. It says...."Jerk and spicy meats or veggies over white rice and red beans take you on a journey to the Caribbean." I ordered "The Lechon Bowl." It was a hearty meal of rice and red beans, with juicy pork. It also had sweet plantains. It was alot of food for $15.00. I also ordered Lechon Eggroll and Peeza Poaket Frito. Both for $5.00. Okay, I have tried some of Comidazo's other virtual brands, and the eggrolls and empanadas appeared to be the same. It looks like they only change the entrees. The Lechon Eggroll was the same. It's nice that they packed the eggroll and Peeza Frito in foil pouches. They arrived still hot! However, the Peeza Poaket Frito was a waste of money. It was described as a pizza pocket with pepperoni and cheese. It was more like overcooked pepperoni and dried up cheese. Something in it was crunchy. Overall, a fair to good experience. I won't order pizza pockets here again.
