TRUE LOVE TACOS…read more I went to True Love Tacos expecting tacos. What I received was a reminder that food can still make you believe in something. I had recently eaten at Oliver's Italian, which I can only describe as an experience that made me question several fundamental assumptions about civilization. The meal wasn't merely disappointing. It was the kind of meal where you leave the restaurant and immediately begin mentally reconstructing every decision that led you there. Then I ate at True Love Tacos. And suddenly, I understood forgiveness. These tacos are ridiculous. The tortillas have that perfect combination of warmth, char, and structural integrity that makes you wonder why we ever bothered inventing plates. The meat is seasoned like somebody actually gave a shit. The toppings aren't there merely to provide color--they're participating. Every bite has something going on. Crunch. Fat. Acid. Heat. Char. Freshness. It's almost rude. At Oliver's, I spent the meal wondering when it would end. At True Love Tacos, I spent the meal wondering how quickly I could order another taco without making it obvious that I had completely lost control. The difference was profound. Oliver's made me feel like I had paid money to attend a meeting. True Love Tacos made me feel like I'd been invited to a party. And perhaps that's what great food is supposed to do. You shouldn't need to intellectually justify it. You shouldn't need to discuss the chef's vision over a $17 appetizer. You should take a bite and think: "Oh. Fuck. That's good." True Love Tacos accomplishes this repeatedly. By taco number four, I had stopped taking notes. By taco number five, I had stopped speaking. By taco number six, I was no longer a food reviewer. I was simply a man standing before greatness. True Love Tacos: 9.8/10 Oliver's Italian: I would like to formally apologize to the tacos for comparing them. If Oliver's was the meal that made me question whether I understood Italian food, True Love Tacos was the meal that reminded me I understand food. Come hungry. Come humble. And for the love of God, don't eat at Oliver's immediately beforehand. You don't want the tacos spending the rest of the evening cleaning up someone else's mess.

Her quote made sense and it was easy to understand and adjust and her way of pricing service was logical and reasonable. When we needed to add ice at the last minute she was helpful and accomodating. The food was amazing. Everything was tasty, hot and there was an abundance. I have to say that one of the best parts of working with Mile High was the service. JoLynn had a team of 3 come out to help us. They were super helpful and worked hard to ensure everything went off without a hitch. They even helped us with desserts and beverage that we didn't purchase from them. If I could give them 10-stars I would. They were so helpful and we felt like a team. Also, because our event was at a ranch location and a little more difficult to stage, I appreciated that JoLynn and Madison met me on site to do a preview of the location. They even brought the chaffing dishes and service items so that I could set up the buffet line with decorations. This was truly an unexpected level of service. Thank you to JoLynn, Madison, Garret and Eric for making out event stand out and keeping our guests happy and well fed. We appreciated the food, the service and the teamwork!

We happened to order a bunch of lunch boxes and I had the Mediterranean veggie wrap out of them all. The wrap was very nicely put together and the fresh apple, the pickle and a slice of tomato were all great compliments to the wrap. The cookie thought that came along was a bit overly sweet. Most of our team loved the wraps but for the chicken pesto wrap as the reviews were mixed about the same. All in all great service ( they delivered the order for us and made sure that we had ample silverware , napkins etc) and good food. Definitely worth a try and especially works well for a team or large group type setup.

The worst caterer if you care about serving quality food!…read more I must be honest and warn others NOT TO USE Biscuits & Berries catering. (1418 W 6th Ave suite 6a) I just hired them for my son's wedding this past weekend of 9/19/26 and I will tell you I could not be more disappointed. Chef JP their "All Star Chef" should definitely be let go! Let me start by saying almost everyone at the wedding left hungry. To start 3/4 of Fillet mignon entrees were so overcooked that they weren't even edible. We requested to have all of the steaks to all be served medium rare but Chef JP told us they needed to cook all steaks medium. We said "that's fine" and asked him to serve the steaks with el dente asparagus. Apparently he doesn't have a clue how to blanch asparagus or to cook a steak medium. The crab bisque had zero crab, and the eggplant parmesan and the chicken piccata were both served cold. What a total bust!! All of that for $30,000.00 Take it from someone who fell for the Biscuits & Berries bells and whistles. They have a beautiful showroom and they offer great tastings. But unfortunately that's where it ends. Chef JP can cook for two or three people at once but that is all. He does not have the talent or the team to cook that same quality of food on a large scale. My recommendation is to save your money and look elsewhere! Biscuits & Berries is a total rip off!! S.Olinger 9/24/26

Footers catered our wedding - June 17, 2022 - at blanc in Denver. WOW I was absolutely blown away…read moreby this team, the food and my whole experience working with them. First of all - the food is amazing. The tasting experience was so fun in the planning process and we loved EVERYTHING. Our Coordinator, Sarah, was incredible and gave us a tour of their awesome facility and setup a tasting with my parents, my fiance, and me. It was so delicious and the chef that brought out the food was so fun. At our venue, blanc, we had to bring in ALL the furniture and Footers coordinated everything for us. It was a little more expensive but A MILLION PERCENT WORTH IT because the Footers team did an incredible job setting everything up, flipping it from ceremony to dinner outside, getting everything just perfect and doing it all behind the scenes. They worked seamlessly and directly with the Wedding Coordinator (Color Coated Events), the florist (Flora by Nora) and the venue (blanc) so that once we had the plan - I really didn't need to be involved in too many details. They even made the entire floor plan for the ceremony and reception - including all the cocktail tables, DJ area . . . EVERYTHING. THIS SUPPORT IN PLANNING A WEDDING IS ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS. The food is incredible. We had passed apps of mac & cheese croquets, steak bites, ahi tuna and Tuscan wontons. We had a buffet with picatta potatoes, broccolini, eggplant with ricotta and prime rib. We did a small cutting cake and an EPIC dessert table with mini bites everyone loved. We had a late nigh snack of breakfast quesadillas, which everyone loved. My friends were all pulling out the extras they stashed in their purses at the bar after-party - ha! Footers even made little leftover boxes with everything labeled for us that we got at the hotel after the wedding. Yes - Footers is a little more expensive than the competition - but truly not by much (I triple bid everything and compared a TON. It was only a little bit more.) And there is a GOOD reason. Footers' team are absolute professionals and they will take such good care of you so you don't have to worry about ANYTHING with tables / decor / food on your day. Instead of worrying about anything during the wedding - I was accepting glasses of white wine and LOTS of water (it was so hot) but the attentive staff (SHOUTOUT TO AJ!!!!) Hire Footers - you will be SO THANKFUL you did.
