Footers catered our wedding - June 17, 2022 - at blanc in Denver. WOW I was absolutely blown away by this team, the food and my whole experience working with them. First of all - the food is amazing. The tasting experience was so fun in the planning process and we loved EVERYTHING. Our Coordinator, Sarah, was incredible and gave us a tour of their awesome facility and setup a tasting with my parents, my fiance, and me. It was so delicious and the chef that brought out the food was so fun. At our venue, blanc, we had to bring in ALL the furniture and Footers coordinated everything for us. It was a little more expensive but A MILLION PERCENT WORTH IT because the Footers team did an incredible job setting everything up, flipping it from ceremony to dinner outside, getting everything just perfect and doing it all behind the scenes. They worked seamlessly and directly with the Wedding Coordinator (Color Coated Events), the florist (Flora by Nora) and the venue (blanc) so that once we had the plan - I really didn't need to be involved in too many details. They even made the entire floor plan for the ceremony and reception - including all the cocktail tables, DJ area . . . EVERYTHING. THIS SUPPORT IN PLANNING A WEDDING IS ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS. The food is incredible. We had passed apps of mac & cheese croquets, steak bites, ahi tuna and Tuscan wontons. We had a buffet with picatta potatoes, broccolini, eggplant with ricotta and prime rib. We did a small cutting cake and an EPIC dessert table with mini bites everyone loved. We had a late nigh snack of breakfast quesadillas, which everyone loved. My friends were all pulling out the extras they stashed in their purses at the bar after-party - ha! Footers even made little leftover boxes with everything labeled for us that we got at the hotel after the wedding. Yes - Footers is a little more expensive than the competition - but truly not by much (I triple bid everything and compared a TON. It was only a little bit more.) And there is a GOOD reason. Footers' team are absolute professionals and they will take such good care of you so you don't have to worry about ANYTHING with tables / decor / food on your day. Instead of worrying about anything during the wedding - I was accepting glasses of white wine and LOTS of water (it was so hot) but the attentive staff (SHOUTOUT TO AJ!!!!) I got married at the Denver botanic garden last year and I was so glad to have Footers for our reception catering. Service: Our coordinator, Brittany, was extremely attentive, friendly, helpful and very responsive in terms of emails and phone calls. We were given a tour at the footers kitchen and the food tasting was literally a full 3-coursed meal. I loved how they really tried to understand our needs and expectations. In addition, it was so easy that I could do silverware and table cloth rentals through Footers so everything could be set up at the same time. Food: We wanted a nice, small wedding with good quality, tasty food. The food made by Footers was just absolutely amazing. We had prosciutto and cheese board for cocktail hour, palisade peach salad and knotted garlic bread as appetizer, raspberry chicken and roasted bison for the main course. Choices of crispy brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes as sides. It was so good that my friends were asking me after the wedding if I could ask for recipes. Our bartender lady created a signature cocktail for our wedding too. All the staff on site on the wedding night were extremely efficient and friendly. There are not enough good things to write/say about this catering company. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. We worked with Kelsey and she rocks. Ask for her! At our food tasting they accommodated my mom, sisters, and niece. My young niece tried the kids food and loved it. She's very picky and her plate was clean. Our wedding was just last weekend at the Grant Humphreys Mansion and I was blown away by how fast they were at room set up, bar set up, dinner, professional staff.... etc. Being completely transparent, the string beans were a little undercooked however everything else was outstanding. We had the beef tri-tip and salmon as main proteins. Both were cooked so well. Appetizers were out of the world. I had some vegan friends and they accommodated them too. They loved their food. What a fun catering company owned by the Lambatos couple! Their catch phrase is "awesome" as you can tell by their 'awesome parking spot' and 'awesome room'. They not only cater events but also host fun events @ their headquarters where they have a room called the "awesome room" that is fully equipped with popcorn machine, foozball machine, ping pong table & basketball game. You can tell that they like to make their work environment fun & that they value a family work environment. I got to try some of their macaroni & cheese from the macaroni & cheese bar & it was scrumptious! You had options of adding buffalo chicken, green onion, tomato & bacon bits. The macaroni sauce was creamy & the elbow noodles were plump & soft. I tried the cheesecake cake pops which were a bit runny inside but tasted better than I expected (not as sweet as regular cake pops). My favorite were the sweet potato fries because they were very well seasoned and packed with bold flavor. The sliders I tried were my least favorite but were not terrible. I appreciated that the meat inside wasn't a patty but rather a chunk of unprocessed meat. I'd love to have Footers cater a future event for me (wedding, family gatherings). After a visit to Footers, to see them in action, I was struck by the culture around the business. It was exceptional! It was fun! The employees, including owner Anthony Lambatos, were knowledgeable, friendly and way beyond helpful. The facility was clean, beautiful and expansive. The "Awesomeness" room had a popcorn machine, basketball and ping pong action. And the food: uniquely delicious. From the vanilla maple glazed sweet potato fries with bacon salt to campfire bites (a great take on s'mores) to cheesecake lollipops to Dr. Pepper braised beef short rib sliders to a mac & cheese station with delicious toppings like spicy buffalo chicken nuggets, crumbled bacon, fried onions, diced tomatoes and more, the menu left me stuffed beyond capacity. Each item was carefully prepared and the quality showed in both appearance and taste. Add in Hors d'Oeuvres of bacon wrapped dates stuffed with smoked almond and bleu cheese, some salmon and goat cheese appetizer deliciousness, and it all made for a more than impressive meal. We worked with Footers for our wedding at the Grant Humphrey's Mansion. From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure working with Footers. I asked for an entirely gluten free menu to accommodate myself and several of my guests and Katie was great at helping me choose a wide variety of options. Our tasting at their facility was incredible and intimate to the point where we didn't even move forward with any of the other caterers we had contacted because it was clear that Footers was at the top of their game. Our contact Katie was constantly available by email to answer any questions we had and reached out to me frequently to make sure every detail was perfect. I'm a very detailed oriented person but there were things even I forgot that Katie remembered and helped me fix. I had a great experience working with Footers on my recent wedding. To be honest, they weren't my front-runner going into tastings, but they most definitely proved to be the most superior (by far) after our tastings! I worked primarily with Colbert (she's fantastic!), who was always available to talk/answer questions, is very friendly, and a definite expert at what she does (i.e. she is familiar with other vendors in the business and knows how to get the job done). No detail was overlooked, despite the fact that the company MOVED from one location to another not long before my wedding day. (side note: the new place is beautiful! Colbert offered me a tour at both their locations and it's nice to see a great company spreading out a bit!) What impressed me the most about our tasting: though we had selected items for our proposed wedding menu, Footers offered a few other options/variations they thought we might like and of course we did...sometimes you can't trust what you THINK sounds good, sometimes you just have to try it, and Footers allowed us to do that. Footers also coordinated rental items (linens, etc) and alcohol, though you can do either on your own if you like (if you're crazy and like extra work). During the actual reception, service was great! Staff was discreet, but definitely friendly and accommodating. I've definitely been to a few weddings where some of the service staff looked a little "rough around the edges"--not the case with Footers. A few of the chefs even came out to congratulate us in person--that was nice! A plate of our long-gone cocktail hour hor d'oeuvres were saved for us as we sat down for dinner (nice touch!). The food was just as good as we had remembered, the desserts even more so! I would recommend Footers for any wedding/special event and plan to look to them in the future for my catering needs. read more

We hired Footers Catering to cater a Christmas dinner (on Christmas day) for 25 people at a local shelter for women and children. The package that Lindsey put together was very reasonable, and I was thrilled that they could do everything on Christmas. The gentleman that delivered the food showed up on time with all the necessary equipment (pans, serving spoons, Sterno burners, etc.) and set everything up nicely. He was very friendly and refused our offers to help set up--he took care of it all. As for the food, it was so good. Everyone gave it rave reviews. From the goat cheese salad to the ham and turkey, everything was delicious. We all ate until we were stuffed, and there were still plenty of leftovers. I would hire Footers again in a heartbeat if I needed a caterer. It was so nice to have a wonderful, home-cooked holiday dinner without all the stress of preparing it and transporting it. read more

Footers recently catered my wedding, and we could not be happier. We have received rave reviews about the food and the catering staff. They were very accommodating and helpful and worked with us every step of the way. They took care of all the setup and take down (including decorations, center pieces, rentals, chairs etc). We had about 2 dozen lanterns that needed to be hung from the rafters of the venue and they were happy to take care of it for us. They made sure that they saved us appetizers because we were taking pictures and obviously didn't have time to grab some before the reception. They made sure that everything was packed away nicely, made sure that the cake stand was clean and given back to us. They even made sure that the lanterns were taken down and returned to us after the reception. The food itself was absolutely amazing, my husbands favorite were the potatoes and rolls, the herb knot rolls were absolutely fantastic, we even decided to get a dessert bar, which was fantastic. Overall I couldn't be happier with the service and food we received, and we will definitely consider them for our next big event. read more

From start to finish, working with Footers Catering for our wedding of about 95 people was a dream!! Colbert was our main point of contact throughout the process and she is not only incredibly professional, but also warm, personable, compassionate, and so organized and helpful. I never had to worry if a detail would be out of place because she is so on top of everything. Kat was our on site coordinator for the wedding and she handled everything with grace, poise, quickness, and so many genuine smiles. ALL of the staff Footers brought to work the event, from bussers to bartenders, were so incredibly friendly and engaging. They seemed like they were enjoying the party also and like they truly enjoy their jobs!! This must mean Footers takes care of their employees and has a great culture! One of the bartenders even joined us on the dance floor a few times, the best being when he supported the crowd doing the Horah! The food was all sooo delicious and the guests would not stop complimenting it! After having attended what feels like close to a million weddings over the last 5 years, we wanted something different and delicious for our big day. Colbert listened to my vision and created a plan that was above and beyond. From creative passed appetizers and fun signature drinks (our champagne ladder with fresh flowers is ALL OVER Instagram) to most amazing food stations (mac & cheese, tacos, caprese), cozy desserts, and pizza to-go at the end of the night, our guests are still RAVING about how incredible the food and drinks were. Their bar staff definitely get an honorable mention- we had a very bar-heavy group of guests and no one had to wait in line at all to get drinks throughout the night. We worked with Jamie from day one all the way up until our event (wedding). Our first meeting was wonderful, she was nothing but bubbly, happy and passionate about the work she does. She took us on a tour of their building/office and explained how they treat their employees, the culture and vibe of the staff, and the perks they offer their staff. We were more than willing to pay the few extra bucks knowing that the staff was going to be treated well, paid fairly and would have a good time while doing the job. On the night of our wedding, Footers arrived in a timely manner. They grill all of their food on site so everything tasted delicious and fresh! We had rave comments on the food, especially the garlic mashed potatoes, the broccolini and the eggplant parmesan. We had a diverse group of dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. They were able to cater to every person in an organized way. They had separate plated food the for the kids and they were served by the Footers staff first which was perfect so they didn't have to wait patiently. My husband and I were served first as well and then the rest of the guests went through the buffet. Toasting drinks were served promptly and cake was cut so quickly!! During the dancing, one of the Footers staff even joined us on the dance floor and showed off his awesome moves - SO FUN! Everyone was so friendly, personable and professional. Definitely steer clear of these guys. I went to an all-day meeting that was catered by Footers this past week. The mini quiches at breakfast were raw in the middle (and some contained shrimp - an unexpected and truly awful combination, and also potentially problematic for anyone with seafood allergies, since nothing was labeled). The guy sitting next to me at lunch had chicken that was still raw in the middle (mine was practically cremated). The service was indifferent at best. While discussing the food, I also heard a few horror stories about this company from other people at the meeting... crews ruining property and owners refusing to fix it, overcharging, etc. Sounds like these guys are crooks, in addition to making terrible food. read more

It's taken me way to long to write this review but the time has finally come. **Disclosure, this is strictly about their business and not about their food** I am getting married next summer and started looking into catering options over the summer. Footers jumped out at me on paper and if I was just going off of that I would have hired them in a minute. However that's not the case and seeing as I gave them one star they were not the ones we hired for our wedding. We wound up meeting with one of their employees off site because it's what worked best for the specific timing of the meeting. The meeting was fine but I was told that by that evening I would have a revamp of the proposal and the menu and I didn't ever get it. I let it slide until Monday since it was still wedding season but made sure to email the employee that same day to tell her we were excited about the proposal and to see the changes and to thank her for meeting with us. I followed up with my email on Monday since I still hadn't heard back and then again later in the week and NEVER GOT A RESPONSE. This wasn't the first time that my emails were going unanswered and since this event is *kind of* a big deal I decided that the lack of communication and professionalism from the employee weren't going to cut it. I'm bummed that we won't get to sample the food as I've heard it's amazing but when your service and employees aren't good it makes you wonder if things will run smoothly on the big day. I'm not alway a big fan of wedding food, but I really loved ours. The staff was also very nice and professional to work with. We also had our reception in a space that we needed to rent tables, chairs, plates, forks, linens, napkins, etc. Footers owns all of this equipment and were able to provide nice quality items that worked great for the space. Our event coordinator Lindsey acted more like a wedding planner than most caterers do. However, we decided to make some major changes to our ceremony and reception venues, which ultimately led us to no longer needing a caterer. We worked with Colbert throughout our planning process and she was there during our tasting. We were thrilled with the food at the tasting and Colbert is one of the most helpful and responsive people I have ever worked with. When we realized we would no longer be able to use Footers for our wedding I contacted Colbert. They were able to refund almost all of our deposit (something completely unheard of in the wedding industry) and were kind and gracious about the whole thing. Lindsey was kind enough to set up 2 tastings with us to make sure everything was perfect upon our wedding day. The communication was great.
