A seafood boil, with added clams & lobster, was the chosen hit for the birthday guy! Holly & Chef Terrence were very accommodating with special requests. (NOTE: adding lobsters -- may want to request TBD to pre-cut tails and mallet-crush claws for easier eating.) Guests mistakenly ate a special brownie-stacked birthday cake before the presentation, but Chef Terrence jumped in, salvaged, and created a 'deconstructed' cake with candles that served and entertained us well! Big thanks to Holly & Chef Terrence, owners of TBD, and event staff. You're wonderful small business purveyors who work hard and deliver a memorable culinary experience. Continued success!

TLDR: Unprofessional, not very gracious with mistakes and disorganized in the proposal process…read more I reached out to TBD Foods in the last week of September 2025 for a wedding in Denver in August 2026 after working with him in 2018. I am from Denver but live in CA currently and am planning from afar. Sent an incredibly detailed inquiry with day-of event timeline by hour, menu ideas, location (just a few blocks from their prep kitchen) and a bit about the event. Received two separate responses from he and his wife, Holly, seeking details already provided in my initial inquiry like guest count, location, time. Sent several emails back and forth clarifying capabilities, menu ideas, rentals etc. and finally had to set up a call in October (initiated by me after many proposal mistakes) to align. There was constant confusion regarding the style of the event and rentals - TBH, the many proposal revisions due to their mistakes maybe should have been the hint this might not be the best fit. But we went ahead! Terrence was late to the call on October 15 but let me know ahead of time and I genuinely didn't have an issue with it. After aligning, I paid $100 to have a menu tasting on Monday, December 22 when my husband and I would be visiting Denver from CA. So, this is a tasting that has been on the calendar for at least a month. When we arrived at our tasting (after confirming via email the week before and day of) 15 minutes before (6:45p) the scheduled time of 7pm, Terence is irate. Mistakenly, the event in my calendar was in PT (since we live in CA) instead of MT. He says that he refuses to serve us because we have "disrespected him and wasted his time and he has a 4-month-old at home." He continues to say that we are disorganized and lack care and that in addition to not offering a tasting, he will not put in the effort to cook for our wedding after how we've treated him. We are SUPER apologetic - this is something we've spent money on, confirmed via email and have been looking forward to. When asked why he didn't call to check on our arrival time, he said he "doesn't have my phone number. And you confirmed with Holly so that should have been enough." Because I filled out an entire inquiry on their website and spoke with him personally to schedule this tasting, it's BUCK WILD to say that you don't have my number and think sending an email is problem solving enough. We would have literally hopped in the car and been there in 15 minutes had we been given the courtesy of a phone call. All of this to say, we made a mistake, were very apologetic and were treated super rudely and given no tasting despite paying. 0/10 for TBD Foods.

Unfortunately they ran out of tofu so I ordered regular tofu (not the same), but I thought the BYO breakfast sandwich was decent. I also ordered a hot latte which came out cold. I can count on one hand the amount of times I sent something back at a restaurant - I sent it back. It came out as cool as the other side of the pillow. The 90s hip hop that was playing really got me energized in the morning but overall the place was very low energy. Only two tables occupied.

Located in a strip mall, with ample free parking, we found this little gem. There was a 20% off check-in offer that convinced us to give them a shot. On entry, we were asked if we'd been in before & given process instructions. Fast Casual - cool. Easy enough: take menus, sit (inside or out) and pick, return to the counter to order & pay (show check-in offer when ordering), take your table number & sit back down. Your food comes out, you eat, clear your table & exit. Don't think that means you'll be ignored tho. The staff are happy to help! Service was fast, staff are friendly & in excellent spirits - no grumpy people either day. Bonus for remembering us on our return. Prices were reasonable for quality & servings plenty big. They initially forgot the drinks on our 1st visit, then refunded them for the delay. This wasn't necessary but was appreciated. I mean, we did come back the next day, both to show our appreciation & because it really was fabulous. Those dippy d's - so simple, yet so good. The Cubano Quesadilla was only slightly preferred over the BIG Breakfast Burrito. On day 2, we split the 3pc & Quesadilla- perfect amount for the 2 of us. Just now getting ready to look for our lunch spot & book marked these guys for our next visit! 5/5 on everything - I do mean everything!

It made planning SO much easier to have them so connected. The food was also beyond amazing! Many guests afterwards told me how much they loved the food and some even asked for the vendor so they could use them in the future. We had a beautiful dessert bar, smoothie bar, and small appetizers at Golden High School's Prom thanks to Bleu Sage. Everyone loved it and talked about it endlessly!! (Especially the raspberry brownies...) They brought all of their own tablecloths, napkins, etc. to the event making it stress-free. Bleu Sage catered my graduation party and the presentation was so beautiful. Everyone was asking who had catered the event because the food was so fresh and unique. It was Hawaiian themed and the pork and wings were absolutely to die for. They also catered my sister's graduation party with a Taco Bar. Bleu Sage's generosity really shined through during Make-A-Wish Week at Golden High School. For years now they have been donating homemade rice krispy treats, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and other goodies to raise money for children with life-threatening illnesses. Bleu Sage dropped off the donations along with napkins, plates, gloves, and of course cheerful smiles. We would not have been able to reach our goal without them. Bleu Sage catered my cousin's wedding in June. The spread was absolutely BREATHTAKING!!! They had cute taco stands and the presentation was absolutely stunning and so professional. The owners are so professional, considerate, honest, and creative with their food and setup. They genuinely take the time to make sure that everything is perfect every step of the way. I absolutely love this company and wouldn't trust anyone else with my events!! Thank you Bleu Sage!!
