Their customer service is incredibly fast. Once I called them, the owner was at my house that same afternoon to test the water and provide a quote. After I signed the contract, his installers were at my house within two days to set everything up. To top it off, they are incredibly understanding. I asked the owner to wait a couple of days to deposit my check so my money could transfer, and he waited a whole week without any hesitation. It is very difficult to find honest, reliable people to do work in your house these days. APW Water Systems and his team are exactly that--"Good People." My system is only about 5-6 years old, so I was concerned that such an expensive repair was being recommended without properly diagnosing the problem first. We later discovered on our own that the actual issue was that the filtration system settings had not been set correctly after the technicians changed the filters. Once the settings were corrected, the system worked. My biggest concern is the lack of communication and proper troubleshooting. But then she kept insisting that my wife had to be present during the consultation because it was "company policy." I've dealt with plenty of home service companies before and have never once heard of a requirement like that. I explained that I would be the one paying for and managing the project, but she continued to push the point that my wife needed to be there. At that point, I politely asked to cancel the appointment and ended the call. A few minutes later she called me back saying they could make an exception, but by then the whole interaction had already rubbed me the wrong way.
