I have been coming here for four years. I believe they have changed ownership because I HAVE NEVER…read morereceived the WORST customer service EVER. A tall, bald, light skinned male was not friendly at all! He yelled from outside of the business to my husband and I to move our bottles to the one side. We thought he was a customer for we had never seen him before, we proceeded to fill out four bottles of water and ignored him. He then demanded that we move our bottles to the other side because someone else was coming. We thought that they were all the same so we moved to the right side. In a booming voice he commanded that we move to the other side, "that's alkaline water!" My husband was very upset at the lack of courteous, friendly, and serviceable tone and person he was. (I am very appalled at his behavior, especially because there was an elementary aged child working as the cashier) --talk about illegal child labor. I proceeded to go the child to pay for my bottles with my bag of quarters. (Note: I have always paid with quarters or cash) the child was unsure of the amount of gallons and asked the tall, bald, light skinned male for reassurance. He guided her and said total was "$9.60" As soon as I started taking out my quarters, he loudly demanded I pay with my card because that's too much change and it's a hassle to count every day all the change. I told him, I have always paid with cash and there has never been a problem before. he refused to take my cash, but I continued to count stacks of quarters on the counter. He rebuttled and let me tell you, I got upset. I responded in the same manner he was addressing me (not very nicely)--and I told him, look money is money. He said, oh yeah money is money to some people, but.." I cut him off, "you want my business or not? I can take my business elsewhere." with a smart a** answer he said, "that's your choice." I was appalled! I said, "Fine. I'll write a review. And I'm never coming back again!" He shut up real quick. Accepted my money. gave me my change. My husband and I walked out of there upset. thankfully I have found a new water place right after leaving. So in CONCLUSION: GET RID OF THIS NEW BUSINESS OWNER OR MANAGER OR WHATEVER HE IS. DON'T COME HERE!!!! STAY AWAY!!!

"$0.50 per gallon," said one of the guys behind the counter. Cool! I filled my container. When I pulled out my phone to pay, he told me that it's $2 if I pay by credit card. Interesting! That's almost a 40% mark up per gallon, which he hadn't mentioned at. all. Even more interesting, a different water store that I frequent only charges an additional 6 cents if I pay by credit card instead of cash. ~ There, I pay $1.56 via credit card, instead of $1.50 in cash. No biggie.

I decided to try these guys out and the option of filling my own water bottles because I absolutely…read morehate my water delivery service now that they merged and became Refresh. I started off by buying some 5 gallon bottle lids off of Amazon. And as a test run I skipped my deliveries from Refresh, cleaned out my empty bottles and went and refilled those a couple of times to make sure this was what I want to do. And it is. I can't continue to throw money at Refresh in exchange for terrible service, mediocre water, etc. First and foremost, cleaning and filling my own bottles cost me half the price of what I was paying for with Refresh and I had the lowest end of water offered from them. Yes, it means a little extra work and hauling those jugs upstairs but it's really not that hard. I could use the exercise anyway. lol Buying your bottles is a little on the pricey side but not horrible. I found mine on Amazon and there are plenty of places to buy them around the area (you may even be able to buy them there, I have yet to go inside and check it out). The caps I bought were inexpensive and work surprisingly well. They actually work better than the crappy seals Refresh was putting on my bottles that would leak the entire time they were being stored, before using them. I have never had to wait when I go and I have gone at several different times. The machines are on the exterior of the building. The change machines take $1's, $5's, $10's (I can't remember if they take $20's) and quarters (not sure if they take other change). I just wish they had a card swipe option but it's not a deal breaker. There are several machines, so I just pop all four bottles into the machines at once and then start putting my money in and let them fill as I go. It's super easy and quick. The water tastes clean and fresh and I have had zero issues using their machines compared to five months worth of fighting with Refresh for a variety of things from leaving empty bottles behind for 5 months straight, not delivering what I asked for, leaking bottles, horrible service, etc. So, half the price and zero headaches for good tasting water? Yes, please. Do yourself a favor and get rid of Refresh, put a little extra work in and for half the price you have tasty headache free water.

He grabbed a couple of bins over to my trunk and told me to unload. A few seconds later, another car drove in and the same worker immediately walked over to help him unload his cans instead. Maybe the guy was a frequent customer but damn, the differential treatment was hella obvious. The worker helped him unload everything and helped him carry everything to the weighing station. It all happened so quick that he even skipped me in line. When I was done unloading, I asked for some help carrying the bins over to the weighing stations (as I saw workers help other people), but I was just told to carry the glass bottle bins myself. Umm sure that would make sense if the other customers small in stature like me too but they were literally men who seemed big enough to not need the help. Regardless, they're nicer if you know Spanish. They're friendlier if you've buddied up with them before. Ironically the workers make it seem like some boy's club catering to their own yet their bosses are Asian. It's too much of a hassle dealing with their behavior that I'd much rather recycle elsewhere next time.
