A hot water underground leak was driving me crazy, not to mention seeing my gas and water bill go up. Ken and Jason were so DARN polite, respectable, professional and friendly. I cannot help but thank their parents AND Roto Rooter for hiring such quality plumbing experts. Topping it off was the follow up call on how the visit/leak detection went. I SO appreciate all of you. I am truly blessed to be having repair done by not just professionals, but some who appear to live by the Golden Rule. And I am not easily impressed, but boy did these guys impress me with their genuine old school professionalism and kindness. Thank you Roto Rooter. Keep doing what you're doing, because it's more than working. In this day and age, IT IS A BLESSING.

One of the initial box ticking items for me is a punctual and confident quote which happened here. Jose came in and immediately imagined how the project would be done and gave the impression that it was all easy due to his many years of experience. He gave me a complete price which was reasonable for a licensed contractor. On the job day, Jose and his crew of Ricky and Isaac were again punctual and ready to knock out the job quickly and smoothly. I was impressed by this, and the concern for the quality and final look of the job. For the scope of work, I always felt that any situation that arose during the job was not a problem to resolve. I would highly recommend "Cheap PlumberS and Rooter".

My experience with Daniel Meredith Plumbing was frustrating from start to finish. What started as a…read moresimple toilet repair turned into a nightmare of delays, excuses, and high costs. They were hired to replace just two basic parts in my toilet tank (a flapper and another component). This straightforward job stretched from December 3rd to December 17th - over two weeks! There were constant setbacks: one day their truck was in for service, another day a family emergency, and on one visit they showed up with the wrong flapper and had to run to Home Depot. When they finally completed it, they arrived without their serviced truck. They charged $300 for this minor repair, which seemed excessively high given the errors and time wasted. They also quoted $2,650 to replace a kitchen drain pipe - an outrageously inflated price in my opinion. To top it off, they were scheduled for additional work last Friday but no-called, no-showed with no communication whatsoever. The real kicker: They advertise as "fully licensed," but their California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license #1054546 expired on May 31, 2025. As of now (late 2025), it appears inactive/expired, meaning they shouldn't legally be performing contracted plumbing work over $500.Overall, the unreliability, poor communication, sky-high pricing, and questionable licensing status make this company one to avoid. I regret hiring them and won't be returning. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. I went with Zeb's plumbing(Licensed) instead and they repaired my electric tankless water heater just by cleaning it and installed a king water softener system for me! Had a handyman convert the drain pipe to run outside like the dishwasher for 600$

We were charged for a clogged line that I was told needed to be snaked when in reality they used my garden hose and my water for 1 minute and claimed that was $100 worth of work. After all that A&A damaged my irrigation lines, and when I called to have them fix it and they were less than courteous about the matter. After the first repair, we tested the system and found another line damaged called A&A and they blamed "My cheap pipes" for the damage. Horrible customer service. But if you decide to use them and you're unfortunate enough to have irrigation in their path, have them test everything before they leave and get paid.

I could tell from the background that he was spending time with his family when I called on a Saturday. I needed same day emergency weekend service, and I genuinely felt bad that he had to leave his family to come help me. That level of dedication says a lot about his character. I could have called one of the larger companies, but I prefer supporting small local businesses whenever I can. After working with Johnny, I can honestly say the Yelp reviews are absolutely accurate. In fact, he deserves far more reviews than he currently has. Johnny went above and beyond. He arrived exactly when he said he would, kept me updated with his ETA, provided photos of the completed work, and never tried to upsell or add unnecessary charges. His pricing was fair, and his honesty and professionalism made the entire experience stress free. It was a pleasure doing business with you, Johnny. You've earned a customer for life. As an elderly woman who's the queen of budgeting, my mom didn't want to spend any money doing some very necessary plumbing work. But it was NECESSARY.
