Then I found Miguel from Polar Water, and I'm so glad I did! Right away, he actually asked me what was wrong with my current system and why I was looking to replace it especially since it was only a few years old. No one else even bothered to ask. We talked about a new system, but instead of just selling me something, he actually checked mine out first. Turns out, it wasn't broken at all just a clogged brine tank. He cleaned it out, replaced a water line, and got everything working again. Super honest, super professional, and didn't try to take advantage of me like the other companies did. He was extremely knowledgeable & answered all our questions. He was also very prompt arriving at the time we were given! After a change in my choice of options ( which the company was totally helpful about) Jeremy & Noah came out to do the work on Wednesday Oct 30th. They too were prompt arriving here. These two young men worked extremely hard! They were constantly running to get the job done! Jeremy asked if we had any questions & showed us everything that had been done. He & Noah then picked up & stacked all the many rocks they'd taken out of the ditches they'd dug , & asked where we wanted them! I appreciated all their work & manner. We had a whole house filtration…read moresystem installed and ran into an unusual situation where we found that my house has two separate water lines (two pressure regulators and two shutoff valves). Dean Taylor and Ismael Orozco worked tirelessly one very long day to get part of the system installed and functioning. Dean then came back and worked another very long day to complete the installation (after my husband dug the 12 foot trench for access). I will always ask for Dean to come and complete any plumbing issue that arises. He is wonderfully pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and is obviously not afraid to work. I've recommended Thompson to other friends and they too were highly impressed. I would not allow anyone else to perform any plumbing work at my house but Thompson!

    I recently went through training with Lifetime Solutions, and my experience was very disappointing…read moreand confusing. I originally felt excited about the opportunity when I was contacted by Asher Hudson about the position. However, communication quickly became very inconsistent. It was often difficult to get a response when I had questions, yet during the Zoom meeting he was answering other phone calls while the training was happening. One thing that also made me uncomfortable was being told that if I didn't have my Social Security card available, I wouldn't be allowed to access the meeting or continue with the process. That felt strange for what was supposed to be an initial training meeting. Looking back, it made me feel like I was being pushed to provide personal information right away before even really understanding the job. On the training day, I was actually the only trainee who showed up in person while everyone else attended through Zoom. You would think that being there in person would mean receiving more hands-on training, but that wasn't the case. The trainer repeatedly walked out of the room and mostly just told everyone to keep practicing the script instead of actually helping us learn it. One moment that stood out to me was when another trainee who was struggling to form full sentences in English was told she was doing great. But when I made a small mistake while practicing the script, I was immediately told that I "wasn't ready" and was asked to clock out. It felt very inconsistent and confusing, especially since we were all still learning. The script itself was also uncomfortable to perform. Trainees are expected to approach random people at Home Depot and say that they are doing "free water testing" and that they will receive a Home Depot gift card for giving their comments. From what I understood, the goal is to collect people's information so someone from another area can later come to their home to test their water. The gift card felt more like a tactic to get people to agree rather than something that was clearly explained upfront. Another concerning moment was hearing someone in another room loudly cussing on the phone and saying that he had "messed around." That kind of environment during a training session didn't feel professional at all. Overall, the training process felt rushed, disorganized, and misleading. I left feeling confused about the expectations and disappointed with how the situation was handled. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering working here ask very detailed questions about the actual job duties and training process before accepting a position!!
