My experience with Daniel Meredith Plumbing was frustrating from start to finish. What started as a simple toilet repair turned into a nightmare of delays, excuses, and high costs. They were hired to replace just two basic parts in my toilet tank (a flapper and another component). This straightforward job stretched from December 3rd to December 17th - over two weeks! There were constant setbacks: one day their truck was in for service, another day a family emergency, and on one visit they showed up with the wrong flapper and had to run to Home Depot. When they finally completed it, they arrived without their serviced truck. They charged $300 for this minor repair, which seemed excessively high given the errors and time wasted. They also quoted $2,650 to replace a kitchen drain pipe - an outrageously inflated price in my opinion. To top it off, they were scheduled for additional work last Friday but no-called, no-showed with no communication whatsoever. The real kicker: They advertise as "fully licensed," but their California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license #1054546 expired on May 31, 2025. As of now (late 2025), it appears inactive/expired, meaning they shouldn't legally be performing contracted plumbing work over $500.Overall, the unreliability, poor communication, sky-high pricing, and questionable licensing status make this company one to avoid. I regret hiring them and won't be returning. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. I went with Zeb's plumbing(Licensed) instead and they repaired my electric tankless water heater just by cleaning it and installed a king water softener system for me! Had a handyman convert the drain pipe to run outside like the dishwasher for 600$ read more

They offered very competitive pricing, and they were very quick to come out. I would recommend them for anybody in the tri community area. Wrightwood phelan, and Hesperia. read more

I paid over $9,000 for a septic tank 3 months ago and it is leaking and I will just say this: Make sure when 120' of leach lines are required 30-40' are not installed instead. Make sure your tank is level and that the pea gravel required for stability is installed. Lastly make sure there is actually damage to the tank that is being replaced. read more

I called Daniel Meredith Plumbing after finding its advertisement in a Wrightwood newspaper. I had just bought a new home and wanted the soft water system removed. Ryan and his buddy ("Valhalla") were outstanding!!! They were really polite and honest young men. Ryan even gave me some cost saving tips for my septic. This is a family-owned business with a great work ethic and exceptional customer service. They did not try to oversell me and actually gave me advise on how to save money. Daniel Meredith Plumbing has a customer for life. read more

So I lost my Dad on September 29th of this year. He was a plumber but he was 89 years old. He had not cleaned out the septic tank in 30 years. The roots from the trees which were planted about 10 feet from where the septic tank had been. We had to replace the tank but I couldn't have picked a better company. They are the most professional plumbers I have ever used. I would like to give a shout out to Steve, and the rest of the amazing crew!! Thank you from a the bottom of my heart. read more

Daniel and his company just finished a job in our property and we have to say that we are more than pleased with how the job was accomplished. Daniel and his team worked very well together. Everything was planned out and was executed seamlessly. We requested a quote for a septic tank replacement and also an abandonment for one of our old tanks. Daniel gave a very fair price. And after shopping for quotes within our area, we found that Daniel gave the best price compared to others with detailed plan on how to do the job . We decided to go with them. Daniel is a very competent boss/owner and so did his employees!Outstanding chemistry within their company. We also had our bathroom sink faucet leak done and water filter fixed. Thanks again. Will recommend this company for any plumbing related works. read more

I recently hired Meredith Plumbing to do extensive underground pipe work. They also moved a propane tank and installed new propane lines. I upgraded my old water heater to an on-demand unit. All work was done in the timeframe that they promised, pricing was fair. Customer Service is a plus. read more

Great service! Daniel and his team show up on time and ready to work! Was available right away!

Got verbal estimate in the morning for a job that would be "full day maybe pushing into next day" Just under 3 grand for a pipe repair / fitting replacement on a line leading into septic tank. 5 hours later, one guy (who was really solid, no complaints on quality of work) - invoice for just short of $3 grand! Like $500 plus per hour, very very minimal materials used and as for tools was like couple of shovels - hand dug. Hard work, i get it. But that kind of spend for a half day's work, no heavy equipment, only one tech on site, is pretty insane. Job was done in Wrightwood. read more

So happy with their service! Called them on a Saturday and explained that I had an emergency leak. They were out within an hour and completed the job same day. Great work and pricing. I've found my new plumber and will recommend them to all my family and friends! read more

My water heater went out, so I called these yoyo-s and they replaced it. I never was given a written estimate, and never given an invoice for work done. I also was not provided any paperwork (i.e instructions, rebates available on the new on demand tankless heater they put in). I wanted to see about rebates available, so I called and the owner said he would bring the paperwork out to me. Lying fart-knocker never did.
