I can't say enough great things about this office. First, they came to the hospital to do a baby…read morecheckup the day my son was born! When we were late for our first few appointments (we were new parents, had little sleep, and were getting used to the idea that it takes an hour to get out of the house) they didn't make us feel bad, or feel that we were wasting their time- they were understanding. I had a lot of trouble breastfeeding, but they were supportive. I broke down several times in their office, crying hysterically, and the nursing staff were all kind and supportive, giving me words of encouragement. The doctors are very down to earth, and just care that your baby is doing well- doesn't matter how fast or slow they are progressing, and they don't make you panicked, telling you what your baby should or should not be doing at any point. They just tell you how great you're doing/how great your kid is doing- they are very encouraging. The BEST thing about them is they will NOT take you if you refuse to vaccinate your child! Otherwise, they will take any insurance, etc- they just want to make sure the children that go to their office are safe. I cannot say what a relief that was to see that policy. Also, they have a 'sick' and 'healthy' section of the waiting room, so no germs are crossed over- same for the rooms. The whole office is separated in two- with the right side for the sick, and the left side for the healthy. I just adore these doctors.

DO NOT TRUST KAUL & MACDONALD they are completely useless!

It was almost 10pm when she saw my child waiting for over an hour (but this is completely understandable) yet she didn't understand why he was cranky and couldn't hold still to a very sensitive part of his body. This was not cold or flu injury. This was a laceration injury. she was in a bad mood because she said she had a cold. There was no comfort and compassion for my child's injury. I eventually I had to pin my kid down just so she didn't walk out of the room for the second time to check on the injury. She made a comment towards his attitude yes his bedtime is 8 and he's tired and hurt. My child indeed needed medical attention with a specialist and a follow up to make sure it was healing. I am surprised she's a paediatrician because she doesn't seem to like kids or doesn't have any tips or tricks to make a child comfortable. No maternal instincts kicked in. Reception was kind and nice. And overall it is clean. I am sure great doctors work here, as well. I am only hoping it was a bad day. I had to explain to my son on the car ride that it wasn't their fault he was so scared.

Her attitude was condescending and intolerant when I asked her to answer questions that I had. For a pediatrician's office, more care should be placed in making the office welcoming to children (age appropriate colors, toys, etc). Doctors should take time to introduce themselves to the children. It is a simple request to have doctors patiently and kindly answer parents' questions. I have never felt so unwelcome at a medical professional's office before. Answering simple questions is part of standard professional practice.
