I do not understand how the doctors and nurses at this healthcare facility can refuse to answer patients' questions about how a decision or diagnosis was made, especially when CDC guidelines were not followed. When I requested information about how the decision was reached without following CDC guideline, they hung up on me.

This place is a disgrace, always overbooked so be prepared to wait and bring plenty to keep your…read morechild entertained. However the real issue is the "professionals" and their vaccine policy that they try to push and push even after you refuse and are told you can refuse without repercussions but in the end there are repercussions, very real and very scary repercussions that left myself my wife and most importantly our daughter without a pediatrician because we were told we are not welcome there if we didn't follow their vaccine regimen, again after being told there wouldn't be consequences leaving us with false hope that maybe these people actually did care about children but don't be fooled like we were, they do not. All they care about is vaccines being pumped into tiny human beings that weigh less than a sack of potatoes and that's it, they didn't care that our daughter had an ear infection and had a UTI at the same time, they didn't care that she was sick, they didn't care that she wasn't gaining weight, in the end all they cared about was getting what I can only assume was some kind of compensation for vaccinating another 8lb newborn. In the end after questioning their mortality we were told to leave and we were not welcomed there, they didn't give us an alternative, we were left with a sick child that we had to take to urgent care instead. Everyone who works for these immunization facilities needs to reflect on the real reason they are in the profession of pediatric care, it shouldn't be to push narratives it should be to help sick children. Thank almighty god that not everyone thinks like them though and there are facilities out there that will care for a sick child no matter what.

The minimal feee every month is so worth it just for the peace of mind of having a Dr on call. It has taken course to get other drs to call back while I wait with a sick baby or I literally have to go to er while waiting for other drs to call back. Not at purely Peds. I don't even know where to begin!…read more Our daughter is 10.5 months and we've been seeing them since she was around 5 months-unfortunately we didn't know about them right away, and-I wish we did. Our other Doctors office was rude, and hurtful, especially to a new mom trying to navigate this new world in the middle of a pandemic. They were rude, pushy, and didn't really explain anything very well. When a friend suggested Purely Peds to me, we jumped on the chance to get out of that nightmare! But never in a million years did I think we would find a place so caring and compassionate. You can tell that these people went into business because they LOVE what they do- They recently switched to a bigger and beautiful building. The drive is pretty far but oh, so worth it! We never leave the office crying or feeling like we're bad parents- they explain everything very in-depth and detailed. They have the time and patience to listen and help with ANY concern you may have- and never make you feel like your dumb or a burden for asking! They have a very fair price to make this private office so affordable- haha babies are expensive. But I can't explain how grateful and happy I am, knowing that Naomi is in such great hands! She is the most important thing in our lives so she gets the best- I wouldn't have it any other way. Has your child's doctor ever made you cry? Or feel unimportant or over worried? Like she's just another number? Like they're just working for the health insurances agenda? Have you ever been ignored, brushed off, or even shamed... If you made it this far, you NEED to make the switch! You will all be so much happier when appointment day rolls around

When we were late for our first few appointments (we were new parents, had little sleep, and were getting used to the idea that it takes an hour to get out of the house) they didn't make us feel bad, or feel that we were wasting their time- they were understanding. I had a lot of trouble breastfeeding, but they were supportive. I broke down several times in their office, crying hysterically, and the nursing staff were all kind and supportive, giving me words of encouragement. The doctors are very down to earth, and just care that your baby is doing well- doesn't matter how fast or slow they are progressing, and they don't make you panicked, telling you what your baby should or should not be doing at any point. They just tell you how great you're doing/how great your kid is doing- they are very encouraging. The BEST thing about them is they will NOT take you if you refuse to vaccinate your child! Otherwise, they will take any insurance, etc- they just want to make sure the children that go to their office are safe. I cannot say what a relief that was to see that policy. Also, they have a 'sick' and 'healthy' section of the waiting room, so no germs are crossed over- same for the rooms. The whole office is separated in two- with the right side for the sick, and the left side for the healthy. I just adore these doctors.

To the Practice Leadership of Tonawanda Pediatrics:…read more I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the conduct of Jessica, the office manager, during an incident this morning involving myself and my 7-year-old daughter. The way this situation was handled was inappropriate, rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. Jessica entered the situation without taking the time to understand what was actually happening. She never introduced herself, never made any meaningful attempt to hear my concerns, and, most importantly, never acknowledged or took responsibility for the fact that I have now made five separate attempts to obtain a simple report or note from a therapist at this practice. Five requests for basic documentation should not have resulted in this level of frustration or confrontation. I want a clear explanation as to why this request has still not been fulfilled. What is preventing Tonawanda Pediatrics from providing this documentation? Why have five requests gone unanswered or unresolved? More concerning was Jessica's conduct during today's interaction. Rather than attempting to resolve the matter professionally, she proceeded to threaten me by stating that my 7-year-old daughter could be kicked out of the practice. That is completely unacceptable. A parent raising a legitimate concern regarding their child's care and requesting documentation should not be threatened with the removal of their child from the medical practice simply because they are asking questions and seeking answers. I am therefore requesting that practice leadership immediately investigate: * Jessica's conduct during today's incident; * Why my request for the therapist's report/note has not been fulfilled after five attempts; * Why I was threatened with the possibility of my daughter being removed from the practice; * Whether Jessica's conduct was consistent with the standards expected of someone serving as an office manager; and * What steps will be taken to ensure that my daughter does not experience any adverse treatment because I raised these concerns. Given the seriousness of what occurred, I strongly believe Jessica's conduct warrants immediate administrative review and consideration of whether she should remain in her position. I am not looking for an argument. I am looking for accountability, an explanation, and professional treatment. Most importantly, this concerns the care of my 7-year-old daughter. I expect Tonawanda Pediatrics to treat both of us with the professionalism, respect, and courtesy that should be expected from a pediatric medical practice. I expect a prompt written response addressing each of these concerns.
