Gently tell me I was wrong (which is a skill in and of itself lol) 2. Offer to refund me even though I was the one mistaken. I'm really pleased with the way she handled it (it meaning me being a "karen") and I'm confident that any future issues can easily be cleared up with a phone call. I felt like I owed them a positive review after incorrectly bashing them. As for the care itself, we've enjoyed the providers we've seen so far, have had a few clinical questions that were answered quickly over the phone, and wait times in the office are pretty standard- not bad at all

One of my boys needed an urgent cardiologist appointment and Dr. Dyson got on the phone with cardiology and we were able to see them right after our appointment at Orchard Park Peds! This office is a HUGE upgrade from our old pediatrician, who would send us to urgent care for a simple strep test. Dr. Dyson and Anne have always taken wonderful care of our boys and I have no doubt that this office will continue giving them amazing care throughout their teen years.

Dr Kessler and Christine are who we typically see and they're hands down amazing. I ask a lot of stupid questions (even for the second kid) And they always answer without making me feel dumb. I've had a couple other doctors as well for sick appointments and they've been great too. My daughter was sick for a while her first winter and they went above and beyond for our family. Even staying a few minutes late so we can rush her in to be seen or talk to me over the phone despite having an appointment the day before just to make me feel more comfortable. I was always happy with all the dr's here and appreciated that we ALWAYS saw a dr at each visit. There was rarely a wait of more than a few minutes, which is great when you have a baby or toddler. The dr's were always very supportive and reassuring, even when my son had trouble gaining weight as a newborn (they continued to encourage my breastfeeding) and later when he had some very delayed gross motor skills. I would have stayed with these pediatricians forever if we hadn't moved!

During the winter season you have to wait 1 month for a appointment to get flu shot. They send bills left and right with unrealistic fees such as cancellation fees or charges that was not covered by the insurance. They will threaten you to call CPS if you don't bring your child for one appointment. They will violate Your privacy and confidentiality. I transferred the care of my kids to Amherst pediatrics and the experience that we had was very pleasant.

With me being a…read moreconcerned mother I took her to the hospital due to me not being able to get a appointment through the office. After leaving the hospital they informed me to follow up with my pediatrician to see how's my child doing. My child begun to get sicker, so I called the office ( after hours ) the after hour receptionist took my message and informed me the doctor on call will call me back. It was during the Buffalo bills game, doctor Dr. Ehlenfield returned my phone call back. Once he called back he was very rude informing me that it's inappropriate to call him while he's at home with" this situation " the situation of my child being sick... then he processes to tell me it's nothing he can do for my child take her to the hospital " if I think she so sick " instead of being professional saying " I'm sorry to hear your concerns, tomorrow I'll get your child in first thing in the morning " instead it went a different way. I proceeded to tell him I don't feel comfortable with him seeing my child I want her recommend nurse to see her because since she's been going I prefer my child to see one person which is Anna. Fyi she's really great and nice and patient with my child. He informs me my child will not be seeing anyone but him after I mentioned multiple time I was uncomfortable with him seeing her due to him saying my medical concerns was not important. We got into a heated argument due to I didn't like how he was handling the situation and this is his practice. So the next day instead of bringing my child to the office I took her to the hospital where they later inform me she has an ear infection. On the discharge papers it states follow up with your doctor on her ear infection. So I called the office to make an appointment. I explained the the receptionist how I was upset and frustrated but nothing directing towards her. She was also very rude refusing my service stating my child is not getting a appointment which also led into a heated argument, then I proceeded to inform him I want my child to be seen I also mentioned I wanted blood work done on my child due to Dr. Ehlenfield saying my nephew had led and low iron after my sister followed up with the hospital she learned her child didn't so I became more concerned since he started my child has low iron and to give her medication. They also told me she's not getting blood work or being seen. She transferred me to the supervisor which was also very rude informing me they are denying my child to be seen her very words " there is no reason for your child to be seen " my child has an ear infection and was prescribed antibiotics from the hospital I'm no doctor how would I know when the ear infection is gone with out a follow up. They informed me that I was lying the hospital never told me to follow up with them but it's on the discharge papers.. I hope no other parent have to experience a doctor telling you , that your child being sick is not appropriate and I shouldn't had called while he was home like he don't get paid to take phone calls from home. I'll definitely be taking my child to another pediatrician who actually cares for their patients
