I ??? ohhhh yeah sure !! lost my voice for a sec there (with a nervous chuckle) and almost forgot the date of birth of the child . But its ok , atleast someone cares for me.... :))))) Anyways! finally the point is Tonawanda Pediatrics is great Location Great Doctors Easy appointments Sweet staff My Fav is Dr. Dolores Leonard. She really understands the problem and gives you a better solution. My son has mild Asthma and he starts with mild cough that gets worse with some foods or cold foods. None of docs mentioned the prevention tips in past 3 yrs where i lived as she did. I followed her advice and i am really happy that i met her. Very easy going and very practical. NOTE: Check if they accept your insurance. If you need same day appointments you can always call and ask but after hours there is a Western New York Immediate care for Pediatrics at various locations which is great too. Ohhh ! and the 3rd pediatrician , Ms. Mom didn't call in as she found got the appointment in 2nd one :)) and happy forever (atleast for now)

However the real issue is the "professionals" and their vaccine policy that they try to push and push even after you refuse and are told you can refuse without repercussions but in the end there are repercussions, very real and very scary repercussions that left myself my wife and most importantly our daughter without a pediatrician because we were told we are not welcome there if we didn't follow their vaccine regimen, again after being told there wouldn't be consequences leaving us with false hope that maybe these people actually did care about children but don't be fooled like we were, they do not. All they care about is vaccines being pumped into tiny human beings that weigh less than a sack of potatoes and that's it, they didn't care that our daughter had an ear infection and had a UTI at the same time, they didn't care that she was sick, they didn't care that she wasn't gaining weight, in the end all they cared about was getting what I can only assume was some kind of compensation for vaccinating another 8lb newborn. In the end after questioning their mortality we were told to leave and we were not welcomed there, they didn't give us an alternative, we were left with a sick child that we had to take to urgent care instead. Everyone who works for these immunization facilities needs to reflect on the real reason they are in the profession of pediatric care, it shouldn't be to push narratives it should be to help sick children. Thank almighty god that not everyone thinks like them though and there are facilities out there that will care for a sick child no matter what.

When we were late for our first few appointments (we were new parents, had little sleep, and were getting used to the idea that it takes an hour to get out of the house) they didn't make us feel bad, or feel that we were wasting their time- they were understanding. I had a lot of trouble breastfeeding, but they were supportive. I broke down several times in their office, crying hysterically, and the nursing staff were all kind and supportive, giving me words of encouragement. The doctors are very down to earth, and just care that your baby is doing well- doesn't matter how fast or slow they are progressing, and they don't make you panicked, telling you what your baby should or should not be doing at any point. They just tell you how great you're doing/how great your kid is doing- they are very encouraging. The BEST thing about them is they will NOT take you if you refuse to vaccinate your child! Otherwise, they will take any insurance, etc- they just want to make sure the children that go to their office are safe. I cannot say what a relief that was to see that policy. Also, they have a 'sick' and 'healthy' section of the waiting room, so no germs are crossed over- same for the rooms. The whole office is separated in two- with the right side for the sick, and the left side for the healthy. I just adore these doctors.

A little tough to find the first time but we love the new set up. Dr. Tony is great and really gives great advice to new parents on the different stages of our son's growth. Our son isn't a big fan of shots but he has gotten better thanks to the nurses and doctors here. Their approach and care for their patients seems to be top priority here. So glad we've had a great office for our son this whole time.

Dr Kessler and Christine are who we typically see and they're hands down amazing. I ask a lot of stupid questions (even for the second kid) And they always answer without making me feel dumb. I've had a couple other doctors as well for sick appointments and they've been great too. My daughter was sick for a while her first winter and they went above and beyond for our family. Even staying a few minutes late so we can rush her in to be seen or talk to me over the phone despite having an appointment the day before just to make me feel more comfortable. I do not understand how the doctors and nurses at this healthcare facility can refuse to answer patients' questions about how a decision or diagnosis was made, especially when CDC guidelines were not followed. I was always happy with all the dr's here and appreciated that we ALWAYS saw a dr at each visit. There was rarely a wait of more than a few minutes, which is great when you have a baby or toddler. The dr's were always very supportive and reassuring, even when my son had trouble gaining weight as a newborn (they continued to encourage my breastfeeding) and later when he had some very delayed gross motor skills. We're from out of town and needed to see a doc for a swollen face on Saturday. Got an appt right…read moreaway and did not have to wait long. The resident dr was great, patient and listened to our concerns. Our major complaint is with the attending Dr. He was an Asian Indian dr and we did not catch his name. He had very poor bedside manner. Rude, did not introduce himself or listen to our concerns. When he came in he was abrupt and very rough with our 6 year old son. After he aggressively poked and prodded our son's face and mouth, our son's gums were bleeding and you could tell that our son was in more pain than when we arrived. Sure, we got antibiotics but not without paying a price of a rude unprofessional dr that made us feel like we were bad parents for dental issues that were out of our control and a even more swollen and now bleeding mouth. Thank GOODNESS we are not from the area but if we do have a minor emergency again when in town, we will NEVER come back to this place and will make sure friends and family do not go to this place. Find a real attending doctor or give some PD on bedside manner and approach when dealing with a child. WE ONLY CHOSE THIS PLACE BECAUSE WE FIGURED THE DOCTORS KNEW HOW TO DEAL WITH CHILDREN!
