Rental and instruction rates are very reasonable. Checking availability and scheduling is easily done online. I am impressed on how organized everything is. Emma is my CFI. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and a great mentor and educator, helping to instill confidence while making concepts easy to understand. She obviously enjoys what she does and is not just there to build time. I am pleased with my experience so far and look forward to continuing my training here!

As airports go, Carson City is a good one. Lots of nice people have their airplanes there, and the…read moreplace is really well maintained. There are a collection of restored military planes and vehicles, Civil Air Patrol, a nice fixed base operator, and Great Basin Aviation flight school has a couple planes based there too. They need a restaurant at the airport, nothing there now, but if there were one, it would be nice. To fly into KCXP just remember there is a preferred calm wind runway. In the summer, it does get challenging in the afternoon. Please be sure to stay up on the local conditions.

I've been watching this business grow and get certified in more categories for detailing and care to different kinds of vehicles. Different prices for different levels of care for your car or truck and the work looks good! It's an understatement when you say that the car looks better than when it left the show room floor. One of their work vehicles…read morewas driving aggressively, tailgating other drivers, speeding, and making unsafe maneuvers on public roads. When a company vehicle is on the road, it represents the business, and this kind of behavior puts other families and drivers at risk. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but reckless driving in a company truck reflects poorly on the business and creates a serious safety concern. I hope the owner addresses this issue before someone gets hurt.

The entire project consisted of a new transponder, new radio, new ADS-B in hardware, in-panel USB power plugs, various and necessary certifications, and a whole lot of house cleaning behind the panel. I have to say I was impressed from start to finish. During the initial phases I was presented with several estimates with a variety of hardware and had all questions answered thoroughly about the pros and cons of each. I eventually made my selection and work started quickly. During the project I was most impressed with the high level of communication I received. When the project was completed at the time promised, there were no surprises with respect to billing. In other words, the original estimate was followed. It's important to note that while getting estimates for this project I must have spent about four weeks contacting avionics shops far and wide. I probably reached out to six or more. Accurate Aero was the only facility that actually followed up thoroughly with me. Overall, I'm very impressed and recommend these folks 100%.
