Finding an instructor during COVID and for a tailwheel aircraft proved to be difficult. After a chain of intros next thing you know Taylor and I are flying together getting things started! He was flexible with scheduling to help meet my aggressive timeline of trying to finish all my training in less than two months. I had bought a plane for my training and already completed ground school before it all. Taylor is super nice guy and is a very patient and thorough instructor. He always made sure to cover our bases and stay in close contact with schedules, planning to make sure we were thoroughly covering all required Part 61 knowledge requirements, and most of all having a fun time while training. I did all the instruction in a plane I owned, and Taylor flew up to me a handful of times until I was solo'd (just North of Reno) to accommodate plane location and timing. It was also nice having someone more near my age as well with a lot of tailwheel experience and now I can say I've got a great aviation contact and friend. Overall, highly recommend him for your CFI needs. Thanks for everything, Taylor!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience, especially…read moreafter reading other reviews and realizing that several families have had experiences similar to ours. These swim lessons were a significant investment for our family, and over our last eight sessions, we experienced repeated cancellations, rescheduling, and poor communication--all due to changes on their end. At one point, we drove to our scheduled lesson only to find the building closed because no one had notified us it had been canceled. We were also moved from the day, time, and instructor we initially paid for, and had a last minute cancellation due to us only being the lesson for the day. Throughout it all, I remained patient, flexible, and understanding. However, the final scheduling issue for a makeup lesson from their cancellation was handled in a way that felt dismissive and disrespectful. After weeks of accommodating their changes, I simply requested a refund for our last lesson because I no longer felt comfortable continuing. Unfortunately, the owner, Holly, never responded or honored that request. At $72 for a 30-minute lesson, I believe families should be able to expect reliable communication and professional customer service. This review isn't about one cancellation--it's about a consistent pattern of poor communication and a lack of accountability. I hope this feedback encourages improvements so other families have a better experience.

One-on-one lessons with John were the perfect step. His approach is all about efficiency and storytelling, which I found to be an excellent balance of pragmatic and creative. The one-on-one format allowed me to get the most tailored information- nothing was review for me, but, rather, my classes contained a personally-tailored firehose of new and relevant information! I especially recommend his class if you shoot with any kind of mirrorless Fujifilm camera. That's his specialty, and fortunately, what I shoot with as well. You can't beat expert advice with the very tool you use the most. All in all, if you're looking for the next step to take to improve your skill, a class with John is a great investment.

In June of 2025, my Dad broke his pelvis, and as he was going through rehab to try to get home, I…read morehad called Medtech and spoken to Rick about ordering my Dad a new power lift chair. We went through the process and custom ordered a very nice very expensive chair. Unfortunately after the chair was ordered, my dad passed away I want to say a few weeks later. Things are a bit of a blur with regard to time, it has been really rough since my Dad passed so you'll have to forgive me. Anyway, in the process of the ordering of the chair, Rick made sure I got a temporary chair that was delivered so that Dad would have something to use when he came home. Dad never even sat in that brand new lift chair, and the two delivery men were just absolutely awesome. When Dad passed, I called Rick and explained that my Dad had passed, He contacted the company who was going to be making the chair I ordered and we managed to cancel the order, and I was fully refunded, and the fellas came back to pick up the chair. I do not know who has left negative reviews here, but they are clearly unfounded in my opinion. EVERY single person I spoke to from Medtech was amazing. From the ladies answering the phones, to the delivery guys, to Rick. I know it has been nearly a year and a half since we went through this, but I think about how awesome and amazing everyone was often. I just want to say that Medtech deserves 10 stars. They went above and beyond to help me and my Dad, even though he never was able to use the chair. I just want to say thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You are all really awesome people who I feel truly care and it shows through you just being you, and looking out for your customers. I'm sorry this review is coming so delayed, things have just been really hard since my Dad passed. I just wanted to give praise and credit where it is overdue. *hearts* (using a random e-mail because I like to keep my info private)
