    4/7/26 I need a new…read morewheelchair. This one needs power or power assist. My current chair is 12 years old, doesn't have that and I've now got long term injuries to my shoulders and wrists. It's not working well for me at this stage of my life. Is this company reliable? I did business with NuMotion in Fresno, CA for my previous wheelchair. I don't remember having any problems. They were kind as far as I remember. Here in Nevada... NuMotion refuses to work with me because they insist my insurance makes them do an "at home" evaluations and since I live in North Dakota they can't do an at home evaluation. My insurance only covers me in Nevada. I have to get the wheelchair "prescribed" in NV and filled in NV and the insurance says that no evaluation is necessary. So where's the problem? NuMotion won't sell me the chair because they "need" to do an "at home evaluation". Chrissy or Christie at NuMotion spent 15 minutes on the phone lying to me and telling me it was my insurance... when it very plainly is not. It's her company. Three separate insurance reps from Anthem that I spoke with said that they just pay for it. They don't need any home evaluation. The DOCTOR thought I needed a new chair (that's a long medical story) and the company asked to sell me said chair refuses to because they can't see my house?!? It feels like discrimination. The PT that was set up to do my eval said that a large number of the patients she sees are HOMELESS and here I'm the one being told that they can't help me because while here in NV, I live in a camper. (4 months of the year.) They COULD go through NuMotion in my home state but refuse to do that. Further... I feel by what "Chrissy" said to me was discriminatory. *UPDATE, I talked to Renee today 4/8/26. She confirmed everything I said here. She also confirmed it is NUMOTION that is denying me service. She confirmed it's because I'm in a camper 4 months of the year. 4/9 - Numotion customer service at corporate called. What a joke. She changes the story to: we can't sell you a wheelchair because my state of residence isn't in Nevada. That's stupid. First, it's the state of my INSURANCE. Second, I know d*mned well that the snowbirds I know get care where they need it. Even if they aren't in their "home" state. How ridiculous. They got it in their head that they were going to act with prejudice and discrimination toward me. And did.

    My son got a brand new semi motorized wheelchair today and we are so happy. Met a couple months…read moreback and Randy, our technician got all of the specs. We understand that it takes awhile to get approval from the insurance company, order all the parts and put it together. Customer service was great communication through our Numotion app and via phone. Randy came to the house and put the finishing touches on the chair. He helped with instructions and my son did a test drive. So happy and grateful. The folks at Numotion were awesome!

    This company is horrific. I have had great experiences over the decades with other medical device…read morecompanies where I used to live after surgeries, knee braces and AFOs. I needed 2 new ankle/foot orthotics (AFO), a replacement for my left foot and a new one for my right foot. My first app. was on 1/6/26 and Frank told me there were excellent newer AFO models, one of which were ordered. Frank told me it should take 3 or 4 weeks usually. After 7 weeks of hearing nothing, I called in and was told they were there. So I came in on 2/25 and when Frank opened the box, instead of 2 black AFOS that were ordered, one was light beige and soiled to the point where Frank was aghast. That wasn't the biggest problem as these AFOs would not properly fit into any shoe without destroying the shoe, I took pictures which are attached... Frank then told me that the model I had been wearing on my left foot, an Allard BlueRocker 2, would be best and it would only take a few days or so to arrive. Well, today is 3/31 and I have never heard from this company. So I called in and was told, oh yes they are here. Who know how long it would have taken if I hadn't called in, really both times. I asked why wasn't I contacted? I was told there have been changes to the front office, which didn't surprise me as it was the most unprofessional waiting room, listening to the techs and owner air dirty laundry for about a half an hour... I will not use this company ever again, and I asked the office of my Neurosurgeon, who originally sent the prescription to OrthoPro, to send a new prescription to Hanger. BTW, I usually don't write reviews on anything, but this company is so bad I felt like I needed to write about my experience.

    We purchased a used scooter back in 2014 from their website. What we received was a heavily used…read morescooter that was not cleaned or maintained for resale. We asked for a refund and were told that we had to pay for the shipping. We received the acceptance to return the merchandise via email from the owner. We shipped the product back with a return receipt on our dime. As of 2018 we never received our refund back and they have their product back. We followed up with phone calls and emails; however, we received one nasty email back stating he didn't have the money to refund us back. I don't recommend purchasing anything from this site. This business is dishonest and publishes false advertising

The hotel we were staying were out, but gave me the name of a business in Sparks Nevada. I called and spoke to a man named Don. He said that he had one left and it would be a three day minimum. I said we were only going to be there for a day and a half. He thought about it and said that he would do it for $125.00. Even thought that was a lot we needed it. He said he would bring it the next morning. I said I would think about it and call back. Within the hour I called back. A women answered took my name and said that she would have Don call me back. The next morning he called. He now had a waiting list. I was the first one on the list, but now once again he said that it was a three day minimum. I said we had agreed on the one day. But since he could get more money now he said we could not have it. This company does not care about the health and welfare of customers, but the more money he can get. We were not able to see most of the event because of this. I want people to know before they do business with Sierra Mobility Scooters.
