I am appalled by how this company treats their customers. First, it was incredibly difficult to get my nebulizer delivered. I had to call so many times every day and was redirected to different employees every time. I ended up having to receive nebulizer treatments at the hospital because I could not get my home device delivered. When my nebulizer was finally delivered, my insurance covered a portion of it and I paid the rest in full upon delivery. Since then, my credit card has been charged several times for the same nebulizer bill. I was just informed today that they put this in as a recurring monthly payment. They did not inform me that there was a recurring charge for my nebulizer. Then, another agent told me that this was a mistake by another employee and should've shown as paid in full. I'm worried that this is a pattern of theirs. I am incredibly disappointed to think of all of us that require in home medical supplies being taken advantage of by this company. read more

DO NOT go through Lincare. They have been nothing but difficult to work with for the past 4 years and continue to f$ck everything they do up. My cpap is under contract with them. they failed at getting me supplies for years, and the customer service people on the phone suck at their job. i would constantly be on hold and then never get through. i would leave messages through their piece of sh!t, Ai system, and they would never return my calls. I NEED a medical device to sleep?!?! After weeks of trying to get though to them, I finally made it through to an actual person(only because my Dr office told me how to). I spoke with Lori who was incorrect every step of the way and they had my information completely wrong and blamed it on AI. I drive 45 miles each way to get the loaner machine, only to get home and realize the CPAP machine doesnt fit the hose i have. I specifically asked if i would need a different one and they assured me it would fit. Sure enough and 90 miles later, it doesnt fit. I called Lincare after hours and they couldnt help me. Avoid at all costs!!! Terrible company. read more

The staff seems undertrained and understaffed. I tried to order a CPAP machine from them and after 2 months they had still not even ordered the machine. There were multiple promises of a call back to keep me updated and I never received any calls. They are extremely aggressive when trying to get you to order supplies (daily texts or calls). I cancelled my order and went with another provider. Stay Away from this provider. read more

Don't hold your breath waiting for their maintenance techs to show up. They are understaffed and underpaid. Just another large corporation maximizing their profits as the employees and the customers suffer. read more

I guess I got spoiled when I was using CPAP & More here in Sparks, NV! Dealing with Lincare has been a nightmare! When I switched to a Medicare advantage plan, I had to switch to Lincare in 2022. First off, they required me to now just a new prescription for my cpap supplies. Hmmm, I have been purchasing the supplies online through another supplier with no prescription required. When CPAP & More opened, I still didn't need a prescription. When I did get into to my sleep doctor and he sent over the prescription, Lincare had problems understanding that I DIDN'T need a new machine at the time, just my supplies. When I did need a new machine, trying to get someone to speak with me about needing one was absolutely crazy! I was told that so and so would call be back that week. My machine just died and I needed a new machine. When I didn't receive a phone within 2 days, I went to CPAP.com and was able to get a new machine delivered in 2 days all for $300. I opted to get the same model as I have been using as I like the Resmed Air Sense 10 and I had 6 months of supplies for it. Now let's talk about the supplies. I have had the same model of this machine since I started ordering from Lincare and every stinking time they send supplies for the machine, they have sent supplies for the Resmed Air Sense 11. I have spent more time on the phone with them and again today, they shipped the wrong hose and this was a replacement for the wrong hose they shipped me in August! read more

As someone with ongoing, 24/7 oxygen needs, their management, customer service and Tdelivery of supplies leaves a tremendous room for improvement. It is very difficult for me to get to the physical office location due to my kidney dialysis and difficulty in transporting myself with an oxygen tank and its inherent challenges and logistics. I have called to have orders delivered numerous times only for the staff to communicate that they have never received an order from me for delivery, forcing me to go physically into their office only to find out their oxygen tank deliveries are short, delayed, just plain missing or every other multitude of issues. As of today's date, my home oxygen concentrator stopped functioning around 2:30am and I called their after-hours emergency line. The on-call driver called me and told me that he would arrive with extra tanks and a new concentrator between 10 and 11am. It is now almost 1pm and I have limited additional tanks and needing a new concentrator. Unacceptable and very poor communication and customer service, from the staff to the drivers to their billing support. read more

Absolutely a nightmare to deal with these people at Preferred Home Health Care. This is a continuation of the review left for PHHC, as Lincare has apparently acquired them. It was a bit tough before however, since their merger with I believe, Lincare, it is quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever dealt with!!!!! Ever!! I've lost track of how many people I have spoken to on their "escalation team" with promises that someone will follow up and call me back. NOT ONE TIME has anyone ever gotten back with me! They are so bad in their merger, that it would be a miracle if they do go bankrupt and quite frankly, I would applaud if they did!!! If I could give them zero stars, I would as they deserve no better than that. One star is way more than they deserve. This is not directed at just the local branch, mostly at their so called corporate level. read more

I found Lincare to be impossible to deal with. It took 1 year for a cpap device .Then I gave up and went elsewhere. Social/Medical was on the same line and got nowhere. Then Medicare told me these people are very rude in Reno. My comment..tell me about it. read more

I was having a problem finding my filter, and opening it. I spoke to Claudia on the phone. She made arrangements and asked Tia if she could make an extra trip to help. Tia was especially helpful.courteous and professional. She told me that she worked for Lincare for 6 years. When I first called Lincare Megan and I talked several times to start me with Lincare. When we went to the office. Everyone was very nice, friendly, or would have a smile for you. The instructor that explained the C-pak machine was wonderful. I forgot her name. But she was exceptional at paying attention to detail. I appreciate good customer service read more

I am not a patient of Lincare but for some reason they think I am. I get Robocalls from them everyday reminding me to re-order supplies. I have never heard of Lincare until they started harassing me daily. I have called and called the company to make it stop. They do not care. read more

The local office is GREAT. Very helpfull. HOWEVER they have a answer service that is TERRABLE!!! THEY DO NOT Forward messages or tell the main office what is happening!!!!!! read more

Zero stars if I could. I don't want to have to take a phone call every time just to get my supplies.

Twice I have been told that my o2 was being delivered and it hasn't been. I was told I could have a "a person " pick it up. This was said at 3 o'clock on a Friday. Isabel was extremely rude, and it's not the first time. I was told the supervisor wasn't there until Monday and wasn't offered a voice mail. Do yourself a favor and go to another oxygen place. They treat you as if o2 isn't an important part of life. I have not been given any 02 and can't get any until next Wed or Friday. I'm hoping I don't have an emergency before that. This is not the first or second time I've had this issue. read more

This business is horrible with customers who live with oxygen 24/7. I needed a part, and they told me i had to wait a week for supplies to come through the mail. I have been without my oxygen for 5 days now. read more

I'm going to update my review from a few years ago. The service has gotten a little better depending on who takes your.

I am totally frustrated with Lincare in Reno, NV. I have been trying to get a CPAP machine for a month and have had only delays, lies, and total un-cooperation from them. They have so many excuses as to why they cannot get the work done and they say they will call me back and never do. I would not recommend them to anyone. I have informed my physician and I placed a complaint with the Lincare Corporate Office, who are supposed to investigate. After reading all the horrible reviews here, I would suggest others also contact Lincare Corporate also at 800-284-2006. They need to know what horrible service Lincare in Reno provides their customers. I am cancelling my business with them. read more

if I were you I would run away from this company. my supplies were dropped off at the hospital with me not knowing how to use them. when I was taken off my oxygen my doctor ordered an oxygen test that Lincare did not follow up to do. They overbilled me in June. I am still waiting for a refund and now they are billing me additional charges for equipment I don't even have. read more

What a rip off business this is. Charged me 1700.00 for a CPAP. Customer service is the worst. They speak as tho they don't have time for you. They skate around the questions asked to them. Wouldn't recommend them anyone. read more

I don't understand all of the negative reviews either... I had been sent to a really seriously deplorable medical supply company- Apria, who had me stuck at home, in my bed- taking their time getting me a walker so I could finally move around again- FOR MONTHS I was left like this. With Lincare I had requested someone, anyone other than Apria- I was directed to lincare. The same day the oxygen was ordered I was called within the hour to see if I'd be home later the same day. I told them the hours I'd expected to be home- which wasn't very long- the company is based in Reno, I live in a Truckee, 40 mins later here I am meeting the driver outside!! I couldn't believe it! She had great advice little tips and assurances that if I ever encountered a situation in which I required o2 STAT, they could accommodate. Unfortunately I did lose that special urgent supply contact # cause it was just written On a slip of paper. I need emergency supplies right now as I'm leaving first thing tomorrow to get dental care in MX- last minute opening and I have no tanks to take with me. I'll be at a much lower altitude, so that will help to some degree- but given my heart condition, I think it'd be unwise to leave unprepared. Thankfully I can trust that Lincare will call me first thing in the am. Just wish I hadn't lost that little slip- she would've brought it today she promised! read more

Avoid. I was sent here by default by Renown for some necessary life saving medical equipment. No call, no info. I called a few days after, they said they were really busy and that they would try to get to me in a week. Noped right the hell outta that one. 4 MONTHS LATER.....they call me back. I told them I would probably be dead if I had patiently waited for them. read more

Shame on me for not reading these reviews before I submitted their name as where I wanted to pick up my CPAs from !! After the 2 week waiting period after my Doctors visit recommending to my insurance company I called them every couple of days and after 2 weeks of having them tell me that they was having trouble getting an answer from my phone insurance company. Which up till this place my next Nauruan ever was on top of authorisation you other providers. I had heard from Tori tell me that she was going to call me back for the 4th time and she never did !! I called up today and inquired and after getting hung up on once, I was told that Tori was handling it and had put no notes on my chart and she was at lunch. I called back 1 1/2 hours later and got Tori and I hear employees laughing and horse playing and she said my insurance company had not got back to them. I told her cancel the order and I called my Doctors office and told them I would never do business with that company and refer my order to their competitor. Why no one from higher up goes and cleans house here is Really amazing !! read more

Love the staff! They get things done in a reasonable time frame seeing as the condition the country is in right now.

terrible customer service! I don't recommend this place at all. Jackie was suppose to check into changing my mask...never heard back from her. when I did call back I got Austin who was just as useless-he said Jackie was out in the field and was the only one who could help me. I knew when she wrote my name on a piece of paper I want going to hear back from her! Wish I would have went with Key Medical...!!! I'd give Zero stars if I could! read more

Total ripoff company. I need oxygen to treat my occasional bouts of migraine headaches. Insurance , of course, refused coverage, so Lincare said they could fill my oxygen bottle, which I would need only once every few years, for a whopping $170/month. Then they said they could "rent" me an oxygen concentrator instead for $115/month. I went to Amazon and found out that I could buy a new concentrator for $300-400, without a prescription. Do the math, what a scam. This company is exactly what is wrong with our medical system - total ripoffs of people that don't know any better. DON'T do business with them! They should be ashamed - this from an MD. read more

This company and their costumer service is a nightmare. They prey on people who are in medical debt and take advantage. This has got to be the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. My baby was sick and needed oxygen. The company charged me for three months of using the oxygen because they didn't pick it up, even though she only needed it for 3 days. I have been calling, leaving messages and even faxed a letter from my daughters pediatrician proving when the oxygen was discontinued and no resolution. I have spoken with the supervisor Jillisa and did everything she requested to have the charges reversed. She lied to me and told me she gave me her "direct number" and has been nothing but rude. I have now left her 3 messages through another person because she has been too busy to take my call and she has not called me back. Instead I receive letters threatening collections. I know we have limited sources up here but please use Bennett if you have an option. When my son was on oxygen for RSV the took much better care of us. read more

If there was a -5 star rating, Linecare would deserve it. On 12/27, I finally received my invoice for BiPap and supplies that I purchased on 11/19. The invoice states that I was overcharged $131.07. I was informed by the local manager and their centralized billing team that they are not able to send me a check nor are they able to credit my credit card. This is a violation of the agreement they have with Blue Cross as well as MasterCard. To top it off, the invoice shows that I was to be charged $63.13, Blue Cross has my patient responsibility as $63.12. Given how disorganized this company is, how they do not have a clue about what customer service means and they employ a local manager who lies to customers, I would urge anyone to find another provider. It looks like from the reviews of Lincare's competitors, they are not alone. It would have been worth it to pay the extra money for an out of network provider like CPAP & More. read more

I don't understand all the negative comments. We have had nothing but a GREAT experience with LinCare out of Sparks. My husband got discharged from the hospital after double pneumonia and lung cancer. Tia was at our house in a couple of hours setting up home 02 (on the weekend). She spent a long time talking to us about everything! All I have to do is call Erica at the office and the guys deliver portable tanks and supplies just like promised. Of course you have to call in the day before and they deliver the next. All the folks have been soooo nice and super helpful. They always take time to talk, say positive things and blessings. We are very thankful and grateful. Thank you LinCare!!! read more

By far the worst company I have ever worked with. If I had the option to use a different company for my patients I would, but unfortunately I was stuck using them due to insurance reasons. The customer service is terrible and extremely unprofessional, don't even try and get a call back or a call with an update from them because it won't happen. I had gone back and forth with them for 3 months (meaning I had to call them for updates) and my patient still never got what they needed. They dropped the ball, billed the wrong insurance and requested the wrong information multiple times. If possible I recommend using a different company. read more

This company does not care about your health or well being. They have had an order for me since the beginning of November. I contacted my doctors office to find out about the status of my equipment over three weeks ago. They said that my order went to Lincare and that they verified that they had the order. They further stated that Lincare said that they would try to rush my order since I had been waiting so long. The doctors office said that if I wanted a better time frame or wanted more information I could contact the office. I waited a week without any contact from Lincare. I called the office and they claimed that the doctors office never called. Funny thing is I did not mention what the doctors office said to me but was given the same exact information the doctors office said that they received about trying to rush it for me. She even said that the doctors office lied to me... from what I was told and the doctors office said they were told I know who the true liar is. Lincare even verified in the beginning of the conversation under the agents breath that they had my order since the beginning of November. I have now waited two more weeks without any contact from the office. Are you kidding me? This was supposed to be so simple... I am not new to this. I WILL NEVER GIVE LINCARE ANY OF MY BUSINESS. If you have any options I would advise that you also do not do business with this company. Lincare is a complete nightmare and should be shut down. Their reviews are bad nationwide not only on service but billing as well. read more
