We did so, but Kohler sent the wrong part (not the part that Ben said we needed), which Ben discovered when he came out the second time to fix the faucet. So, we went back to Kohler, convinced them that Ben knew which part was needed. They apologized and promptly sent it, and Ben (and Mason) came out a third time -- it was the right part, and Ben promptly fixed the shower faucet. Big kudos to Ben, for his expertise, kindness, and patience, and to Mason for being his great helper.

Water heater replacement (discussed tankless vs. tank type), new faucet installation, middle-aged faucet repair, exterior water spigot repair, repair of amateur-installed supply lines (leading, and not up to code), analysis of mystery shower drips, locating water shutoff - for all that and more. They are on time, make sure not to leave tracks or repair mess, don't upsell, and answer questions honestly. Most recently, Corey has been great. When you want something done right, call them. Interesting facts: Plumbing Fixologist arrived yesterday (03/30/2026) at 1540 (video on Ring…read moreDevice) and departed at 1622 (video on Ring Device) a span of 42 minutes. Our bill was $424.71 to replace the flow control valve in our toilet that was taking 10-15 minutes to refill the tank after flushing. Part cost around $25 at Lowe's leaving $400 for less than an hour of labor. I'm astounded that Plumbing Fixologist charges over $400/hour for their service. Their reaponse to the charges: "pricing is based on the overall service we provide as a licensed and insured plumbing company, which includes diagnostics, expertise, travel time, tools, warranty, and ensuring the issue is properly resolved" It actually took less than 20 minutes to complete the install. AMAZING! Afterwards, water was constantly running every 20 seconds. Plumbing Fixologist returned today to stop the constant leak/refilling by adjusting the float level. The tech was courteous and prompt. If using this service, you may wish to get comparison quotes before agreeing to repairs. The $75 service call you will be charged will be worth the expense rather than paying over $400/hour for your repairs.

My better half has a thyroid condition and drinking purified water without fluoride or chlorine…read more(plus anything else floating in city water) was suggested. We used a counter-top RO system for a few weeks but quickly got tired of always having to remember to top it off (but not too much, or it leaks all over the counter). So, being a typical guy, I set on the quest to take care of "she who makes the rules" and thought it best to put a full-blown water purification system in place. Purologix was the most responsive of several vendors offering water filtration and purification that I reached out to. Russ promptly replied not only to my initial inquiry but also to follow-up questions and concerns I had before installation. He even was kind enough to offer a veteran's discount that helped quite a bit. Install was quick, took the stated time, and the team left everything spotless, and overall everything was quite affordable, especially given that they had to match two custom faucets. We now have a lovely 10-gallon reserve RO (reverse osmosis) filtration system in place, with matching RO water dispensing faucets in our master bathroom, kitchen sink, and laundry room sink. Even our fridge/ice-maker is running off the same supply, all with solid water pressure. Most importantly, water, which I previously refused to drink out of the bathroom sink due to its after-taste, now tastes fresh. I'm finding myself filling up our water glasses and cups much more often and drinking much more water than before. Even watering indoor plants without chlorine in the water is much easier. Overall, strongly recommend Purologix.
