Not going to lie, I was quite scared reading these reviews but I needed my water gallons filled. It was either my luck or in fact, a change of owners/ people working, but the lady behind the counter was very nice & understanding. She helped answer my questions & even offered me a bottled, cold sample of their alkaline water. As long as I don't encounter the rude lady who lives in this review thread, I will be coming back. Water is reasonably priced & they do in fact accept card payments (with a fee). Overall, there are plenty of signs if socializing isn't your thing, quick & convenient for being self serve, and open late, unlike other places. read more

Came here once to fill my 5 gallon bottles and was met with rudeness. It was my first time here and I never really go to a water store but the windmill express I usually use was being remodeled. I simply went there and since it was my first time, dont know the procedure. Usually someone fills it for me when I hand over the bottles. This one is self serve, which is cool, but the lady was rude expecting me to know what to do and was irratated when i was doing the math and getting my money out. I left a review on Google and their respond to my review there couldn't have been more disappointing. A business that doesn't take responsibility should not one to be dealt with. The guy wanted to charge 5 dollars for a single bottle cap now they switched up the story and called me a liar. The sign clearly says "We hate change" now they switched it to "Keep the change." Then, proceed to call customers petty and childish for giving a feedback. Who's the dramatic type now for writing a whole long a$$ paragraph just to get back at a customer. Twisting reality + rudeness + hostility isn't something to be expected in this day if you want to stay in business. Write me another response on here, I'll wait. read more

I came here with my sister to get some water. It is at a great price only 20 cents per gallon for normal filtered water! They also sell alkaline water which is $1 per gallon. This is one of the best, if not the best price I found for filtered water! The lady who helped us was very kind. There is a specific order to do things, so please read the sign and follow accordingly. My sister Kristy Co posted that photo of the steps to do in order. Every thing must be done "self serve style" except paying at the register with the person who is working at the time. You can rinse your 5 gallon containers with the spray rinse that is provided on the counter, you just push this circle button, an be prepared, it goes out powerfully! (The counter where you fill your gallons of water). Don't do it with the one gallon containers! But you are still allowed to rinse the 1 gallons with the clean water itself! So no worries here. There are a couple of wet towels available to wipe the exteriors of your gallon containers if you like. There are a few carts available to wheel in your gallon containers and out, but please return inside the store when done. They sell snacks and candies for example, there were some of those $1 fundraising chocolates for sell in the front. It is an amazing place to get the best price, tasting, filtered water in this area. I don't understand all the anger towards this establishment. I see a lot of people lamenting over missing the previous owner and the service of the new folks in charge. I've been refilling my water here for close to 2 years and haven't really had a bad experience. I follow their guidelines which aren't really strict imo and they've been generally pretty respectful / friendly. The parking is also generally plentiful in this too so it makes loading your water jugs / bottles pretty easy. If you want a straight forward place to refill water at reasonable prices, this is your spot. I can also sympathize with people who might not feel welcome because of the rules/guidelines. read more

I used to go here because it is not far from home. I stopped because one of the lady needs some lessons in customer service. I dropped my bottle cap and rinsed it out. She raised her voice and told me to do that at home. I ended up finding another spot nearby (E-water Mart) that has an old man who rinses and fills my bottles up for the same price. read more

The purified water and alkaline water here are reasonably priced. The owners kept the establishment super safe during the C-19 years. They are friendly and knowledgeable about the types of water they offer. This establishment is always clean and the proprietors are friendly. I miss seeing the father. He told me he was a Viet Nam vet and came to SCAL after the war. My trips to the replenish my water were always extended by conversations w/ him, now I converse w/ his daughter. Nice people. Nice atmosphere. I know there are water stores closer to my home, but I prefer this one. read more

Every time I walk into this establishment I love it , the owners are so lovely and always welcoming and making sure I'm okay and asking how I've been , most businesses don't care enough to get to know their clients and to me this is amazing , I will always support this place and plus the water is way better than many places I have tried . I've been getting my water from this place for over 3 years. Over the past two years, I've noticed the lady running the cash register has shown herself to be rude and shows off a nasty attitude towards customers. Except for when paying for the water, I usually don't interact with her and even then, I can already tell she is not pleasant to be around. What pushed me over to write this review (and I don't even usually write reviews) is her showing me some horrible attitude when I asked a question about bottle sizes they have. If you don't want to answer a very general question that a staff member working at a water store should answer easily, then don't work there. Needless to say, I'm getting my water from other places from now on. The one star is for the price. read more

My husband and I started going to Pure Water several months ago. The owner is Asian and she is the most helpful, respectful, and friendly business owner that I have come across in a very long time. You have to pay before filling your bottles which is to be expected, and she has three carts if you need to use them. The shop is always stocked up with water bottles of all sizes, colors, and shapes. They have made their shelves look like wood and they have a big nice picture on the wall so when you are filling up your bottles you have something to look at. I noticed that there are a few on the ceiling as well. Pretty cleaver. That alone makes this shop stand out from the rest. They have snacks and soda's and health drinks to purchase. They also has a few other household items if you want to purchase them. The shop is always extremely clean and the water stations are wiped down and very clean. The hours are great, they are open until 8pm every day which makes it really convenient. The water there is only $.25 a gallon which is somewhat less than other water businesses in the area. It doesn't seem like much but it adds up when you purchase sometimes 40 gallons at a time, almost every week. They also have ice cheaper than anywhere else that I have checked in the area, and it's always fresh whole cubes, not all broken and no freezer burn. I would highly recommend Pure Water for all of your water needs. I know we will never go anywhere else. Check it out, you'll see what I mean. read more

Really wish I could give 0 star. My boss has been going to this water place for many years, but every time there's always a problem. This time, she called our other coworkers the "b" word and more words not worth repeating. If you run a business, you have no right to say that to your customers. That's just ill mannered as an owner of your business. Also, she accused us of stealing when we're just taking the cart to the van since we have a lot to refill. Mind you, she's known us for years and she knows how many we fill up. I used to be a regular customer here. I've noticed a few times an Asian lady (mid 40's) is there and she has really bad attitude. She would get really upset at other customers and yell at them because they rinsed something for too long. Today she got upset at me and gave me attitude because I asked her for help picking a 5 gallon container that was BPA free. I will no longer be coming here. Absolutely phenomenal service and quality. During this pandemic its sensational to have a small business take such pride in establishing safe procedures in assuring everyone's overall health and experience. If I could give it 10 stars I would. The thorough practice of distancing and sanitation is ideal for any business and knowing your water supply is so truly protected is fantastic. Customer service despite what other imbeciles wrote is unfounded. My and David are pillars in the community offering insanely cheap purified water at only 20 cents a gallon is almost philanthropic. The lady who work today was super rude. We found hair in the water so we tried to pour it out and rise the bottle. After we done filling. She was trying to charge us extra which was perfectly fine because we did use that water. But she wanted 1.25$ which is 5 refills. This is so greedy. So I told her I will pay her 50cent because it's half the gallon. Here mama take your 50cent and lose a customer. read more

I moved to this area 3 years ago and was looking for a spot to get my water thand God I ran into this place the water is great, I love the fresh taste . They are very knowledgeable and explain the difference and what the benefits can be. They make me feel at home and always ask to see how my elderly mom is doing. I've been coming here for the last 2.5 years. I've been to other water shops in the area, but Pure Water has the best prices and the owner has always been very kind and helpful. When I first stepped foot in the shop, she helped me pick out the setup I wanted and explained the process. I've been coming here at least once a week since the new owners took over back in 2016. Always good friendly service. Gotten purified and alkaline water, both which taste great by the way (don't know how we every drank tap water when we were kids!) Still the best price around, $0.20/gal for Purified & $1.00/gal for Alkaline. They also sell purified ice (ice made from their purified water!). Only one size bag though. I don't even use the ice-maker in my fridge anymore! I have witnessed several times customers being jerks and the owners "responded appropriately". Not rude, but of course the customers always seem to see it that way. I wouldn't want to be in their position to have to put up with customers like that. WATER HAS A WEIRD TASTE. Came here instead of my regular place because it was on my home from work and I wanted to try it out. Filled up three 5 gallon jugs and took them home. Loaded the first one on to my water machine (have had the machine for about a year now) and noticed that after about halfway down the jug, the water seemed to taste odd. I assumed it was my machine because water is water right? Not always so apparently. I proceeded to removed the jug (my machine is bottom loading), emptied it and filled it at my regular spot, then brought it back to test it out. After a day or so the water was fine, finished that jug with no problem (it took me about a week to finish). I then proceeded to install the second one from Pure Water assuming it was just a fluke. Again, within the day, the water had a weird taste to it. I thought about contacting the business to let them know but then I figured for the $3 I spent it was not worth it so I just used it on my plants. Also the lady in the front when I went in seemed rude, so less of a reason to go back in. read more
