I had brought in six 1-gallon bottles with three different types of lids, and to me it isn't obvious which lid goes with which bottle so I offered (kindly, with a smile) to put the lids on my bottles as each bottle was handed back to me. She helped answer my questions & even offered me a bottled, cold sample of their alkaline water. As long as I don't encounter the rude lady who lives in this review thread, I will be coming back. Water is reasonably priced & they do in fact accept card payments (with a fee). Overall, there are plenty of signs if socializing isn't your thing, quick & convenient for being self serve, and open late, unlike other places.

I also asked the male employee if he could help me bring the filled water gallons to my car, and he told me he could "if he wasn't busy." After I filled my bottles, I was the only customer in the store, but instead of offering to help, he went into the back and stayed there. I ended up having to carry all of the heavy water gallons to my car myself. I understand that this is a self-service business, but a little basic customer service--especially when a customer directly asks for help--would have been appreciated. Lucky for us, Waterfount is just down the street from us! They are open till 7 PM so we can always swing by after work on a weekday when we are running low on water, which is perfect. I am one of those people who have the special skill of tasting particular water, and believe me, the water here is fresh and great-tasting! They have different types of water but we just get the filtered one with reverse osmosis and it always tastes great. They are a family-owned business and provide the best service around. The location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking in the plaza. I usually go into the store to refill my water, but they also have self-serve fountains outside open all hours 24/7. We bring our own gallon bottles, and they always power wash it for you there before they fill up it up for you. They have carts here to wheel the gallons to the car in case you need it, but I always have my trusty fiancé with me most of the time, so he carries it, and I just support where I am needed, haha! The store is very clean, staff friendly and helpful, and the water has been excellent quality. I refill two 5-gallon jugs weekly with regular purified water. Prices here are minimally higher than others in the area (only by $0.50) but the water quality here has been great so I don't mind. The water from the first water shop I went to often had a moldy smell and taste to it and they weren't as clean. So I found a better shop in Altadena that I frequented for years and never had that issue so I was hopeful to find another excellent and clean water source - so far I haven't had any of those issues here at Waterfount. The water always smells and tastes great! They're located in the plaza with Grocery Outlet so there's plenty of parking. They have a couple of large carts for you to wheel the jugs to your car too which is helpful. They offer different types of water filtration and also have 3 large self serve fountains outside open 24/7.
