I drove to the small strip mall and walked into the mom-and-pop-owned donut shop. I was immediately greeted by a smiling male employee, whom I would find out was named Jeff, behind the counter. Jeff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and a genuinely happy man--the kind of person who radiates positive vibes that easily rub off on customers. The shop was stocked with donuts, beverages, and other items. The menu boards displayed a variety of sandwiches and other food items. Each item in the picture looked delicious. I ordered a plain croissant and a cinnamon donut (my favorite), plus a strawberry & banana smoothie for my daughter. I continued the small talk with Jeff as he bagged my donuts. I explained to Jeff that I was coming from a Yelp-sponsored lunch in the city of Alhambra, which seemed to amuse Jeff. I shared that I would write a review of my experience in his donut shop and mention what a friendly and happy man he was during my short visit. Lucky for us, Waterfount is just down the street from us! They are open till 7 PM so we can always swing by after work on a weekday when we are running low on water, which is perfect. I am one of those people who have the special skill of tasting particular water, and believe me, the water here is fresh and great-tasting! They have different types of water but we just get the filtered one with reverse osmosis and it always tastes great. They are a family-owned business and provide the best service around. The location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking in the plaza. I usually go into the store to refill my water, but they also have self-serve fountains outside open all hours 24/7. We bring our own gallon bottles, and they always power wash it for you there before they fill up it up for you. They have carts here to wheel the gallons to the car in case you need it, but I always have my trusty fiancé with me most of the time, so he carries it, and I just support where I am needed, haha! The owner, Eddie, is genuinely friendly and always has a big smile. Thank you Eddie and your team for being in the city of Duarte and offering your fresh water to the neighborhood.
