They only serviced the entire house or their R/O b/f water cooler standard or deluxe model (if they had water coolers) had to be purchased, they didn't rent. If they rented the monthly and install rate for 1 room was insanely high. Then I called CWS, talked to Phil, friendly helpful guy. Gave me unreal affordable quotes. I had to repeat back to be sure. They had various R/o b/f water cooler models. Standup unit or counter. Set a quick install date, Phil came and answered all my questions, showed me around the R/O b/f water cooler, the filters were inside the cooler. Who knew? Didn't have to go under the sink. The landlord wouldn't allow the R/O faucet install. Everything was great. Phil cleaned up. Made sure his install was fine even though he had another big job in south OC yet to drive to after my job. I was in IE. I highly recommend CWS to those who want filter clean water for just their kitchen fellow Yelpers. My cooler has 3 settings. Hot, cold, regular. If you want a Rental standup unit ask for a 'new' one. They'll know what you're talking about. My roommate will especially use the regular temp setting for her sunroom full of plants. I'm sure they'll (plants) thrive & be happy as I will. Call (CWS) them today. They're very friendly and courteous.

Martin, our installer, arrived on time and did a wonderful job with the installation. I appreciated how he coordinated water shutoff and testing easily with us and was quick and efficient with his installation. All the plumbing was done cleanly and professionally and he took the time to explain maintenance and operating information for the softener system. Water quality is noticeably improved and we are very happy with the result!

He personally visited my home before the installation to test the water quality and review the plumbing layout with me to make sure everything would be installed the way I wanted. Martin G and Robert did an excellent job with the installation. They installed the water softener neatly in my garage, and I especially appreciated that they took the time to install a separate unfiltered water line to my backyard exactly as I requested. The workmanship was clean, professional, and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend West Coast Water Filtration to anyone looking for a reliable and professional water softener installation.

We also got the reverse osmoses system under the kitchen sink to further clean the water. This was such an easy and smooth process. We put in the order with Brad, scheduled an appointment for installation and our installer was Maurice. These guys know what they are doing and they made it very easy for us. The set the expectations and we didn't have to do anything. It took us about a couple hours where we couldn't use the water but then all we had to do is flush out the air from the new system. It's the third day now and everything is working great. WHY WE CHANGED: Just got tired of increasing monthly rates and having to open the garage for the techs to switch out the tanks. Also the Pro Water system does filter out more than the water softener we had.

Very friendly and explained everything he was doing. Love the system and everyone we have interacted with from the company has been great! I should add that when the system was originally installed Brad and I had a discussion about my vegetable garden and what would be the best solution so as not to get too much salt into that water as it would affect and potentially burn them. The installer was able to route our hose line so that it would continue to use unsoftened water and not affect my veggie garden. We are SO appreciative of this as we love eating our home grown tomatoes!!!

I also had to take apart the faucets and get the gunk off the screens. I would say I had to do every couple of months now after years of Lifesource once a year and it's not nearly as bad as it ever was before. Service calls are wonderful people show up on time know what they're doing fix what they're there to fix and are incredibly friendly. The infrequent need to change the canisters is a real plus. While, you do have to plan for those expenses, they are long lasting. over time it was less that our collective monthly expenses, especially if the maintenance by hand that was required was considered. When we were evaluating the system. It sounded expensive until I did the math on what we were paying for soft water which my husband dislikes the feel of. The difference is immediately recognizable in showers for hair and skin is something far better than I was .expecting. The water coming out of the tap is great! We do have a reverse osmosis for ice. The grey water every two weeks is used for the lawn and outside plants, so no waste and no big delivery trucks on the street on a regular basis. Jonathan our rep is always available and we are very happy with Lifesource!

I'm very disappointed with my experience with **LifeSource Water**…read more Yesterday, I spoke with one of their customer service representatives regarding a water test I had done. **My drinking water was tested specifically for magnesium, and the test result was 450 mg/L (milligrams per liter).** This raised concerns for me about the quality of my water and whether my LifeSource system was addressing the issue. During our conversation, I was told that the LifeSource system does not remove minerals such as magnesium and that I would need a reverse osmosis system with a carbon filter to address the issue. He also mentioned that my refrigerator filter might possibly help. I was also told that the LifeSource system primarily removes chemicals. This information was never clearly explained to me before I made such a significant investment. I was not given a water test before purchasing the system, and I now feel that I did not have all the information I needed to make an informed decision. As a result, I'm back to purchasing bottled water from the store. I recognize that I share some responsibility for not researching the purchase more thoroughly. However, I believe customers should be given a clear explanation of exactly what a water filtration system does and does not remove, especially before making such a large investment. I'm sharing my experience in the hope that it helps others ask the right questions and have their water tested **before** purchasing a LifeSource system. **Make sure you understand exactly what the system is designed to remove and whether it addresses the specific issues in your water.** I wish I had known this before making my purchase.

Great experience hiring MCS for a new water softener installation…read more I live in Yorba Linda and had been given the name of a company that was an authorized installer of Puronics systems in the area. That company came out, didn't provide any literature and verbally explained what they offered and quoted some ridiculously high prices. Then I was driving home one day and saw a service truck for MCS in my neighborhood that had graphics on it that said they installed Puronics systems. I spoke to that technician and he came over to look at my existing worn out system. He had literature explaining all their offerings and quoted prices that were much lower than the other authorized installer had offered. He gave me the quote on a Friday and three days later on Monday, they finished the installation in about 3 hours. The completed installation looked very professional. In setting up and testing the system, the installer (Jun) fine tuned the settings for the hardness of the incoming city water, the number of people in the household, the system regeneration timing (# of days), etc. while continuing to check the outgoing Puronics water for the correct softness (with a chemical test) after each adjustment. He then explained to me the functions and operation of the control panel. In summary, I'm very satisfied with MCS Water Technology for their pricing, installation and quality of technicians. My lesson learned is to check if there are other authorized installers in neighboring areas for an item you're shopping for. In my case, I found a gem of a company in MCS that was just a few miles away in Rowland Heights.
