I was actually debating going the midwifery route, but when found Dr. Brennan's practice around the corner from our home, I discussed my more holistic preferences for pregnancy and birth with him and he was supportive, open and curious about how he could best accommodate my vision. I love how relaxed Dr. Brennan is, yet he is diligent during every visit to make sure baby and mom are progressing well and explains everything thoroughly. I had quite a few birth preferences, as my intention was to deliver without medication or interference --not common in a hospital like Lenox Hill. But I did it, WE did it. After laboring at home for a majority of labor (a preference of mine and Dr. Brennan's so long as all is going well), I got to the hospital 8 cm dilated, 80% effaced and head at zero...Dr. Brennan met me soon after and told me he would be observing me as I neared time to push. I loved his approach. I knew he was there, but he was allowing me to do my thing. He didn't rush me. He allowed and guided when necessary. Color me impressed…read more I do have a regular gynecologist at Juno Medical in Harlem, but I was referred to Lily Wong after going to the CityMD on 50th & 2nd for an urgent women's health matter that they couldn't address, despite advertising gynecologic services at that site. (That...that is another story and perhaps another Yelp review. Ha!) I won't go into full details on my condition, but I am immunocompromised and have been since 2008. When I went to the CityMD to address my condition, I showed the physician my issue, but also noted to him that I was experiencing issues that manifest in me when I have a systemic infection: I was feeling lightheaded, had waves of nausea and little appetite, and felt general malaise. After 13 years, I've learned symptoms of my infections pretty well! I occasionally, but not always, run a fever as well. They ran vitals on me and did not draw blood, only did a urine test. My doctor concluded that since my uranalysis was normal, I didn't have a fever, and that I was lightheaded but not fully dizzy, that I was "fine", but would refer me to Dr. Wong for follow-up. I kept advocating for myself because I didn't want to end up in an emergency room if I really had an infection, but all they said is that they'd refer me. I felt my concerns fell on deaf ears. *sigh* When I arrived at Dr. Wong's office a few days later - by that time, I was feeling much better symptoms-wise, but was still dealing with my women's health issue overall which I thought was the source of my potential infection - I was grateful. The office was bright & clean, COVID-protection measures were in place, and all staff - both front desk and clinical - were too kind. What impressed me most was that Dr. Wong took care to read the notes I sent in prior to my visit. As someone that is asplenic - i.e. I have no spleen - she was asking me questions about my blood work, how my platelet levels were, and if I took any additional medications regarding my asplenia. I really took to heart that she asked me these questions, as my asplenia is usually just a passive note that is *not* followed up on by other doctors outside of my PCP. I'm really glad she asked me those questions out of genuine concern. She took my concerns about infection seriously as well & checked the issue; if I had an infection, it likely resolved by the time I made it to her office, but she gave me a thorough examination, gave me a few in-office and at-home options to treat it, and I felt both physical and mental relief after seeing her. Just to be taken seriously after my less - than - stellar CityMD experience took a weight off of my chest. Sure enough, I followed her at-home instructions for treating my issue, and it resolved within days. Thanks to Dr. Wong and her staff! Even if this is my only experience with her, I would highly recommend her to those looking for a regular gynecologist!

I was able to get my blood testing done in the exam room and the imaging was done immediately afterwards next door. The facility is private and clean. I was tired of going to a facility where it's very crowded in the waiting area. Also, I wasn't a fan of my name getting called loudly in the waiting area and having to wait a long time to be seen. At FemGyn, the experience is the total opposite. I was seen shortly after completing some paperwork. The front desk representative was sweet and professional. I've been a patient at Trust Women's Health for about 4 years, and my recent visit changed how I…read moreview and feel about this facility. On May 4th I arrived 17 minutes late to my appointment after taking two buses to get to their office. When I arrived I was told I would need to reschedule due to a late policy. I had not been made aware of this policy beforehand, and it does not appear to be clearly communicated anywhere. The front desk staff members were dismissive and unhelpful. I felt I was being denied care because I arrived 2 minutes after their grace period, a policy I wasn't aware of. Because I am on daily medication and needed a refill I insisted in asking for an exception so I could still be seen. The staff member in charge avoided interacting with me but I was eventually seen. During intake, I was told I was "too early" for my annual exam, which was confusing because I have never had that issue before. I was then told I was not due until later in the month, which added to the confusion and was not clearly explained. When I saw Dr. Peggy, I was told there may be a billing issue and uncertainty about insurance coverage. Later, I contacted my insurance provider and was informed that they cover preventive care without restrictions, which made the explanation I received feel inconsistent. Looking back I don't think she wanted to see me and used a possible billing issue to get me out of her office. Plus they took my vitals while I was very upset and changed my medication because of it, then blamed my medication for my blood pressure being high. I was told I wouldn't have symptoms of pain related to my condition by with the new medication. But after a week I stated experiencing symptoms related to my condition. I've been maintaining my condition and was on the same medication for 16 years with no problem or side effects before this. When I reached out for guidance, I was brushed off. I eventually spoke with Dr. Peggy but did not feel my concerns were fully heard or understood. Dr. Peggy did not feel my symptoms were gyn related and thought it might be something else. When I explained to her these are the symptoms related to my condition she didn't listen. I was in a lot of pain that was only getting worse and her response was to give me pain medication and go to the emergency to find out why. She asked me "what do you want me to do?" In a frustrated tone and told me my symptoms weren't related. This was very scary for me and traumatizing. I ended up consulting my previous OBGYN doctor who got me back on my medication immediately and scheduled my annual pap exam that Dr. Peggy did not want to perform early May. What Dr. Peggy failed to realize is that I've already undergone extensive medical exams and surgery that lead to a diagnosis and treatment plan to manage the condition. Overall, the experience I had this time around was very much "mean girl" energy. I felt dismissed at multiple points in a way I had never experienced here before or anywhere rather. I've brought up several concerns on two occasions in May and she either made excuses or didn't address it. I originally choose this clinic because of a tiktok review and I loved the care, professionalism, and respect I felt from Dr. Peggy 4 years ago. This recent experience did not reflect that same level of attentiveness I've experienced over the years. Trust Women's Health in 2026 is now a place that lacks of professionalism, staff has limited professional experience, lack of effective communication, lack of professional care and bed side manners. I started coming here when Dr. Peggy was part-time and only available in the evening, now her business has grown and they are fully booked and have no time, no patience, and no tolerance for things that may inconvenience them. I have other doctors who are fully booked and do not move in the same manner and are able to retain staff members. I am greatly disappointed with my experience. I noticed someone else posted a poor review around the same time as my visit, which indicates that my experience wasn't unique.
